Last Can of Gabbiar

When you think about it... if Gabbiar is so highly craved and Gabbits are such a popular meal and their lungs are so precious... why didn't the Industrialists revive the Gabbits with that last can themselves? I meen it would actually be helping themselves out aswell as Munch!! More Gabbits... more Gabbiar... more Lungs... MORE MOOLAH!!!

Well, if we think about it, the last can in itself is worth even more money... Remember the basic rule: the less there is of a product, the more money it is worth. And they get all of the moolah at once. And we all know that the Vykkers are uncaring.. remember, Vykkers aren't really about the money(gluks are)... Vykkers just found out that their love could be profitable: cutting supple flesh and make other species suffer. Check the official Oddworld site for more info.

But you do make a good point. In the long run, Vykkers labs could make more money. It would appear that they don't really care. After all... Vykkers labs already has 6 billion moolah in the bank.

good point... but lulu don't have to eat it, he can also revive the gabbits himself (even I doubt)
maybe the vykkers had some money problems and needed quickly a huge number of moolah

Well, Raisin does make a point there... there could be other cans. But still, the can would still be worth a lot. But I believe the Almightiy Raisin and his Ratz in saying that the last can of the priceless dish, gabbiar. They are all knowing! Bow down before them!

That, my fine friend was from the show Ed, Edd and Eddy. It's an American cartoon on Cartoon Network and one of my top favorites.

The one on the left is Ed, the big, clumsy oaf with an I.Q. of a swedish sausage (He's wearing a costume), and the one on the right is one of the neighborhood kids, Rolf. He's from some unknown country and has strange yet funny customs.

(The screencapture is from the episode "Wish you were Ed" when the three Eds try to convince Rolf that he has returned to his village. Every episode title has the word "Ed" in place of another word.)

Look into it! The show is called Ed, Edd 'n Eddy. It is a HOOT!

Basiclly the Glukkons and Vykkers don't really care if they use the last can of Gabbiar, they'd rather make a huge profit off of the last can then move on to the next doomed species. Trying to revive the Gabbits again would take too much time and money for the Glukkons and Vykkers to even care.

One question if the Magog was going to use the last can of Gabbier and Gabbit lungs are the replacements for cancerous Glukkon lungs, Won't it be pretty unwise to use up a species that saves Glukkons from death of cancer? Because every gabbit would be gone in this case then Glukkons will be gone because there are no replacement lungs. Once again it brings me back to a theory on how the Industrialists have no idea on the consequences to what they are doing.

Very true PA, I like your idea that the Industrialists do not have any idea what they are doing and what the conciquences will be but lets not forget that there are also other species with suitable lungs out there. Although the industrialists may have still not found which Im sure there looking.

The vikers do not care if it is the last can of gabbier all they want is lots of MOLAH and if munch were to restart the gabits the vikers would find a way to get the lungs that is if any of them were able to live the fuzzles present

If I had 6 billion moolah, and I was a vykker, then I would use all that money to live a dream life of capturing small animals and torturing them. Why are they working on anything? The vykkers, as well as the rest of the industrials, aren't conservative and would devote any time to making more money if they already have so much.

They dont care if there resoarces run out. If there animals are dissapearing because someone is stealing or saving them they get annoyed. They think they have a right to the whole of Oddworld and all the species on it. THey can do what they like to there creatures, then they can find replacement species. If gabbits are neally extinct its a case of "oh well, at least they went to a good cause." They can find other creatures to use as lung transplants and food soarses. its like you guys said, they havent realised that they're destroying there planet. They dont realise that eventually they'll run out of creatures to use. Thats my thery anyway.

Its similar with humans, only with glukkons they doint realise that they are leading there planet to destruction, we just dont care enough do spend loads of money to stop it.

The industrialists never really thought long term. They could have kept a flock (or whatever the collective noun is) of meeches alive, bred them and took some away to be killed, like we do with cattle and sheep, but that would take too much effort. The same thing with Abe's lip stitches. As Alf said: Well, they worked pretty well at first, but Glukkons aren't much for long-term thinking or quality control. With the headlock they have on management on Oddworld, they don't really have to be. So, after a while, the stitches get loose, and Abe and the other workers can talk again, some.
