Question Characters That Are Overlooked Could Proove Important In The Big Picture...

We cannot help but to think back to that phrase...

Lets review the facts...

ABE - Important (not as important as we thought apparently)

MUNCH - Important (Nope... not that annoying bouncy thing)

SQEAK AND THE OTHERS - Important!!! (No!No!No!)

It seems that the heros of this quintology actually have little to do with the big picture.... so who or what are they talking about?

So far, we have few characters to run off but lets see:

Phleg, Aslik, Dripik - I personally say no way but I'm usually wrong

Molluk - High possobility here... who knows... could Mollouk be the evil ruler of Oddworld Industrials???

Interns - I new idea... but then again Interns have got to be HIIIGHLY over looked.

The Ratz - Even further over looked but I dont think so...

HorseMonkey - Umm.... no. I dont even believe this guy exists... just an april fools joke

Slogs/Sligs - Although they play an important role... lets face it.... you wouldn't expect anything anything from them in the BIG PICTURE... would you?

An endless list... my opinion?

MEECHES - Who suspect the supposedly extinct creatures? I personally think there is a secret colony out there... somewhere...

And then again, maybe its a creature that hasn't even appeared yet... who knows... But whats your opinion on the subject? Reply.

Hmmmmmm......

Upto to MO hitting the shelves, would gabbits not have seemed like wildlife?

Just becasue we havent heard of any talking scrabs etc doesnt mean there arent any, just that we havent encountered them.
someone said in one of the threads that mudos is so many times bigger than earth.
I dont particularly know how intelligent koalas are for instance.
(bad example, but you get the idea.)

I feel that everything on Oddworld from the smallest form of wild life to the most intelegant being of the super races all have a sunifficant role in the over all picture. To me everything seems connected in some way even the industrials to the natural world in small ways. The reason I balieve this is because in that phrase you also get "Be forwarned for all the inhabitants live on Oddworld together." and then it goes on with your part the overlooking of characters.

I almost think that all means that if one race dies in this doomed world the rest would follow in slow painful ways. That could explan the horrable reality we are seeing that is takeing place on Oddworld. I mean we have races becomming extinct or endangered. We have the corruption of the lands and all the pollution from industrial facilities.

Its all connected and the industrial world is destroying the connection not even knowing that even they will be thrown into the mix of a slow extinction. The Industrial world is obviously destroying the natural world but at the same time destroying them selves in the process and Oddworld all together.

That is how I look at it.

Hmm...

Interesting ParamiteAbe...

Thank you TBR.... Xavier... I believe that Meeches (and a lot of other oddworld creatures) have the intelligence to be an important character.

Besides, the Meeches being "extinct" meens we know practically nothing about them.... right?

Well yea but don't forget that Meeches are extinct on Mudos and there could possabally be more on other continents where the knowledge of their existance could be well known. We are dealing with a small cornor on Oddworld here.

What that statement is basicly saying is that in the future we will see the Mudokons true past including a different side of Sligs and Glukkons (pluse some others) that we had not seen in the previous games, among other things. This statement will prove that not everything is what it seems on Oddworld, alot of Inhabitants a dark and corrupte pasts that we will get to see as the Quintology continues on.

Concerning Cats

Well, yea... I think a cat could have an adventure... I mean why not?

What I'm getting at is how do we know these Meeches aren't intellegent?? They're extinct... we basically know squat about them. And if you say they're dumb because they almost got hunted to extinction then that's just stupid because I believe it has almost happened to Gabbits, Paramites, Scrabs and Mudokins are getting thinner too... right?

Well, its true that we know nothing about Meeches, apart from the fact that they were really tasty.. But, for all we know, they could have been intelligent enough to communicate. Take Paramites, for example. They were intelligent enough to devise their own language. They were smart enough to learn to get along with each other. Meeches could be the same, but we wont know until we get shown that.

I also agree that Meeches probably wouldnt get their own adventure, they would probably be more of a secondary or tertiary character to one of the hero's stories. I think what they meant by "Characters that are overlooked could prove important in the big picture...", is that things like Ratz or smaller, unnoticable characters could prove vital to something in the end.

Hmm...

Thank u Big Bro for understanding me!!!

Well, I can't help but think why Meeches were put in the Abes Oddysee instruction book... it seems odd, if they're not gonna be an important character... dare i say in the big picture?

But yeah, your probably right. Meeches will probably (more or less) be part of a story but not have their own adventure...

But another thing, it says before the Characters that are overlooked phrase about all the inhabitants living together, meaning that if one of them dies out, the others will follow. This is why I think Meeches may be very important. In order to restore balance to the system, could it be that Meeches will need to flourish once more?

I mean think about it. Ever since Meeches became 'extinct' they relied on Paramites and Scrabs.... they got too thin, (cause they couldn't hunt Meeches ASWELL) so they moved on to Mudokins, Gabbits and others...

Meeches could be the missing link... the thing that will set Oddworld straight again... does anyone else think I'm on to something here or is it just me?
