Little Question

Maybe it's a little off the subject, but how do you make screenshots in AO and AE I want to make my own sceenshots, but I just dunno how!!!

Use a camera+scanner or digital camera. If it were up to me, I'd just use a digital camera (needs to be a high definition one I guess) and take pictures. I mean, I don't think you can print things off your XBox or playstation. Yes, just use a digital camera, or a normal camera (then use a scanner) and there you have it!

are you using ao-ae on the pc?
if so, hit the print scrn button (top left 3 keys on a standard 101 keyboard)
if you then go into ms paint and paste, it will paste the entire screen into paint and allow you to edit it etc.
print scrn does exactly that....it takes a screen shot of whatever is on the screen at the moment you press it.
it can be pasted into any editing software that accepts bmp type files.

EDIT... duh! i mean the top 3 keys on the RIGHT NOT LEFT

I want to know this too. What 3 keys exactly... What are they labelled?

the key you need look some thing like this.

Print
Scrn
------
SysRq

its next to the Scroll lock and pause/break keys on a standard keyboard
Its definitely on a laptop, but as they have different keyboard layouts, so not sure where it is.

tried to edit, but you cant add attachments with an edit

basically, when you use print screen, it does a screen capture to whatever product you use....
see the attachment for eg

EDIT.......thats not the whole screen capture, just a small section of it, so file wasnt too large.
when you actually do it, it caputres EVERYTHING on the screen

Well, I found the sysrq key... it's the delete key. The layout goes something like this...

F12/Scrlock | Ins/PrtScr | Del/Sysrq | Pause/Break |

So what am I supposed to hit?

the |ins/prtscr| is the print screen key.
if the prtscr bit is in a different colour, then you will have to press the *function key or shift lock etc.
(*fn on laptop)
