Here is the mudokon head that I built in single player shortly before joining the OWF server, it's based on

. I sent Crashpunk the plans and helped him build the one on the OWF server now that's visible from Genesis base, but I'm sorry to say that I really don't like the stitches he put in the mouth. He did work hard gathering the materials for it though.

As for Rupture Farms...

There's an entire thread in Fan Corner dedicated to it, in case you missed it. (BTW, Is there any way for me to continue editing the first post of that topic? I'd like to keep updating the contributors list as more people give me materials) The latest progress vid I made is here, it's nearly 3 weeks old but I haven't gotten that much further since making it:

I don't like the look of sandstone and brick together.

I just logged on to find the server was feeling talkative.

This went on for a while. It was a person, because they were reacting to what I said. It sounded a lot like whoever is doing the signs. Bullshit like "We are everywhere" and "We cannot be seen".

I talked to it for a while, before eventually telling it how fucking stupid it was. It told me it would smite me, so I made some sarcastic remark about shaking in my boots. I'm about to log back on to check on my stuff.

Come on, dozens of servers have a public IP and we're using a whitelist. What could possibly go wrong?

Seriously though, what happened last time happened because I fucked up a setting that disabled the checking of valid accounts. That setting has since then been enabled so theoretically it shouldn't be able to happen again.

Thing is... who on earth would wanna bother with our server.

And I dunno how often I have to repeat this....Scraby didn't really hack the servers... Well.. technically he did because he exploited a vulnerability. But the vulnerability was so simple that not a lot of skill is involved. I would like to see people try and hack the server for real. Like bypass passwords, authorization etc. Using code or the necessary tools. Wont happen. <.< Specially since it's just not worth it... Except for pranks or whatever.

Not really.... I just dont see the point of making a hype over such a small deal. WHo cares about MS. When has ever shown an interest or skill in hacking beyond using a stupid proxy?
Why should we have to hide cos of some dude we dont even care about?

What Im trying to say is that the risks of us getting targeted is small, and there's no reason to come with all these excuses.

I mean yea. Maybe we should remove the IP for security reasons in general. That's a good reason. but fearing MS is not a good reason. And neither is fearing what scraby did, cos that loophole has been fixed.

I dunno.. I guess im trying to say you guys are being a bit silly

It's astoundingly easily done, so considering it's still better for security no matter how slight, the real question is, why the effort to say it's not worth it?

Im not saying it's not worth adding security. It is. Like I said, it's always good to add security in order to well... be secure.

But things such as "oh noes MS might do soemthing" is silly x_x ...
