Nate dude, calm down, let people theorize all they want. We need to pass the time here anyways, though this thread isn't the one.

Also "Might be games" no longer applies, considering J.A.W. just told us of a 2GB game.

The teasing they're doing for digital distribution is still up for discussion however. Also for the love of God J.A.W please release it on XBOX too, I don't have a PS3.

Is it even possible to discuss a twitter feed without theorising? Sorry, it just seems silly that you're telling us not to theorise about new Oddworld games using the information we have (which is currently predominately supplied by Twitter feeds) on an Oddworld forum in a thread about twitter feeds.

As opposed to:

It's fandom... it's what happens when new things are said to be announced. I'm not saying we should act like retards (and start arguing about whether or not Munch's Oddysee is a good game), but what's the point of being on an Oddworld forum at a time such as this, if we're going to get internet-bashed for theorising?

My objection was not with the theorising, it was the overly-optimistic nature of some of the theories and the way that other people have assumed them to be true. I'm just warning you not to get your hopes up.

Well, if we overly-optimistic say a lot here is true, Gilrod might say something in return to confirm this, or to rule it out completely, might not be too much info, but it's getting there little by little.

If we shut up, Gilrod doesn't say anything, and we would still have absolute nothing.

To this point Stewart just told us they were aiming to release a 2GB game. So yeah there's something coming, but we have no clue what it is. It could be anything.

So going back on topic, he was actually wrong about Xbox file size? I know that when a company wants to patch a game it needs to be 4 MB max in size on the Xbox. But those are just patches.

That article is just under a year old at this point but it does mention a hard cap of 2GB.

It's not a hard cap, and it isn't a rule set by Microsoft. It's a technical restriction, which the PS3 has, as well.

I honestly don't understand how there can be a technical restriction where only games up to 2GB can be on the Arcade, when there are 6 GB games next to them in the Games On Demand section.
