3D Paramite

I do all my models with 3D Max 2009 and I sculpt the organic models with Zbrush 3.1.

Wow, it looks pretty much exactly like a paramite does in Oddworld (without its color, anyway). Are you planning to color it in? Because it would look awesome if you did.

Yes! And thanks. Yes, I was trying to paint it, but the skin is not finished yet. If you notice, the fingers don't finish in claws, but I made it to give them some work, but I'll make it like they are.

Thank you all. In Abe's Oddysee I haven't seen this one in paramites, but in the artwork it exists. I'm meaning an extra bone, or leg, or something:

anyway, the improvements on the paramite are great, when you compare it to the very first one in this thread, it looks really amazing, it's cool how much work you had put already into the paramite

Well, tell me how do you see it, I have improved the muscles, I have improved the fingers and the head.




So if that's a leg.. I have to make it in 3D Max, because I don't want to do things in Zbrush, and I don't know how to edit Polyspheres (the people that make models in Zbrush use Polyspheres and sculpt it, while I do them in 3D Max and I sculpt it in Zbrush).

*UPDATE*

I have sculpted it in HD Geometry, so I can draw skin effects with really good quality. I have colored it too.

**UPDATE**

Well I decided to remove the HD Geometry layer, to make a real good one, with real textures.

This is a close zoom to the head and the fingers, the textures are own made (I can zoom it at the highest level and the detail doesn't loose any quality).

Yes, I have problems with the alphas, it's a bit difficult to do it from a photo.. Specially when the light is brighter in some zones.
