Well, those rules are actually very good. I've managed to take some better close-up photos and stuff like that because of it. But I also have a couple of landscape photos I am proud of.

I prefer the second personally.

Thanj you for the nice comments. I do like the Swan picture despite my little fear of swans. And I love the second photo because it came out so well.

I took a photo of a firework while it was bonfire night. I used a tripod and timing. It was only my successful one. And then then, this one was a bit of a fluke. I still like it though.

I took the second one because it was just a rather interesting one with the trees and the water. I like it too.
