I guess Sekto would try to get to another part on Oddworld to start Sekto industries again... What did Sekto Industries make actually?

Well, the industry was actually called Sekto Springs. So they were kinda in charge of the Mongo River, and basically the waters surrounding Last Legs.

I really wanna know what was Sekto's purpose at Mongo River... Maybe it was an assignment from a higher Glukkon-boss???

Water's probably a precious resourse there. I mean, if you look at the setting in strangers wrath its mostly wasteland. So water would probably be worth a lot of moolah!

Sekto sold bottled spring water. Of course, it’s not spring water, it’s river water.

:
Well, the industry was actually called Sekto Springs.
There is a Sekto Industries sign submerged in the final video. I pressume it is the sum total of Sekto’s industrial presence, and Sekto Springs Bottled Water Company is just one of his enterprises.

He was there to make Moolah. Sekto is an Oktigi, not part of the Magog Cartel. The Oktigi industrial family is richer.

You must be kidding me. The whole point was that water was only in such shortage because Sekto’s dam was draining the river. The actual bottled water is shipped to every market Sekto can flood (so to speak).

Do you think the Octigi work as a family? I got the impression that they were loners.

I actually did myself, Sekto seemed to be the only Oktigi. Every time there's a company run by a Glukkon, there's usually some other Glukkons. Rupture Farms, all the Glukkons in the board room, and in Feeco Depot, Dripik, Aslik, and Phleg.

Well, perhaps Sekto just prefers to work alone. For all we know, the other octigi might have partners and such.

For all we know, Sekto DID have partners... Maybe you just can't see them in the videos haha. Or what about those Gloctigi's? They're also kind of family of Sekto, they might be partners... And all Octigi's, Gloctigi's and Glukkons come from the same family tree, like we humans and apes do. Through the years they have evolved so much, so they don't look alike that much anymore...

They're not his family. They're his pets. He even said it himself.

Octigis and glukkons similar, in that they are intelligent, "civilized" beings. But gloktigis are pretty much like the rest of the wildlife of Oddworld. The only difference is that they seem to be much smarter than the rest of the creatures (since squids, in real life, supposedly are as well).

If you look at the differences between Sekto and Glukkons in the way they run their businesses, you can tell that that certain Octigi was much smarter than all Glukkons appear to be. Octigis have to be smart. They are the same as Glukkons in the way that they both rely on wealth to run their lives, but Octigis must be smarter, as they have to go through the process of possessing a creature and starting a business, while most Glukkons are born into it.

That's the way I see Glukkons and Octigi to be different, though they are both as selfish as eachother.

I see the primary difference between Glukkons and Octigi being that Gluks crave money whereas Octigi crave power. For one thing, they live to control their host. Extending that thought; Sekto found the heart of the Mongo Valley and stole it for himself, thus giving him power over everyone living in the valley and who depended on the river for their livelihood.

Which makes me think that that sort of personality does not really lend itself to cooperation and fraternisation.

You guys are right, the Gloctigi's are his pets, I remeber Sekto saying that in the last battle...

What I meant was Glukkon's and Octigi's are like human's and apes. The Glukkon's are the apes, the Octigi's are the humans. Octigi's want power, like humans do. Octigi's have pets, like we do. Octigi's are smarter, like humans are... they think.

But back to the topic, what other theories are there than these:
* Sekto takes over a Grubb
* Sekto simply dies
* Sekto takes over a Gabbit

Any ideas?

But... Apes don't crave fortune. You know what's gonna happen. Sekto'll take over a better body, get back into business and take over the world. Scratch that last bit.

Gloktigi are more like the apes while both Glukkons and Oktigi are the "humans."
They just evolved in different areas and different adaptions were needed thus the 2 different species.. or so I assume.

I'm sure Sekto could take over a Grubb easy if he can manage to conquer a Steef, and all this about Grubbs attacking is just silly. Grubbs are scared wimps what would they do about it?

Well, they are newly emboldened by the return of the steef. After all, they did destroy the dam with their catapults.

Grubbs aren't the only species along the newly released river. In any case, I think that Sekto would consider Grubbs and Clakkerz unworthy of his attention. I'm sure he could survive long enough to head downstream and find some other creature - perhaps one that we haven't seen yet.

I always enjoyed imagining Sekto on one of those completely kick‐arse Outlaws that never made it into the game:

Ok, ok. I guess what im trying to say is that the reason the waters precious because sekto is stealing most of it. And therefore making it worth more right?

Got it right that time?
