Charlie Brooker
is a critic, though. When he’s making fun of something he genuinely dislikes it and makes the effort of making valid criticisms at the same time.
Meanwhile, Yahtzee exists primarily to make funny videos. He exaggerates his dislike to extreme proportions and is more interested in sight gags or expletives than thoughtful criticism. And unlike Brooker, he tries to do the same even when he has nothing of value to say and doesn’t even dislike the game he’s talking about.
Generally, if I read or watch something created by Brooker, I come away having learned something about the subject and usually agree with his opinion. When I watch Zero Punctuation, I don’t actually know if the game is good or not.
