I think if anyone was to keep doing something as much asyou said I'm pretty sure they'd get pretty annoyed if they weren't progressing.

I honestly would have believed that people could easily get past that Scrab by now. I perfected that screen on the 2nd attempt. Had anybody actually made it to the screen after the Scrab yet? it's a real evil one

I tried again today and forgot how I got past that mine after you sneak past the slig! I tried possessing the slig on the next screen by using the secret door but he just blows himself up on the UXB! I bet the solutions real obvious as well.



Here's the screen it's on...

The mine behind the thingy. As soon as you hoist up there you blow up.

Also, what's with the dodgy floor in the background where the first secret usually is. I just fell through the floor for no reason!

BTW: How did you get the glowing red lights?

WOAH! Slow down Sammy! A lot of question's there!

Yes the floor to the first secret is missing. Completly my fault as I accadently messed with the wrong colission paths sorry.

The idea is to go into the door on the screen you posted and start chanting immediately. On my play tests if you chant immediately the Slig will not run into the UXB. The idea is to possess him and then run him into the mine.

The red lights are easy. Just place a light effect and set it to Flint Door.

I was wondering what flint door was... I'll try that too.

I started on a new variation on RuptureFarms I. I added a bunch of stuff in to try and make it harder than yours! So far it's going quite good. When I've finished I post it on the Level list...

You have no idea how many deaths it took for me to get there.
The scrab was really annoying. Are you supposed to kill the scrab because I did that and it was much easier.
Also the two patrolling sligs and slog took the most tries. I knew what to do but every time the slig shot me. The slog was easy though but the sligs are the worst.
I had fun with it though, especially disarming all those UXBs after the scrab.

Hmm...I'm thinking of setting up a second thread that is exclusively for posting finished variations onto. Not for dicussing and trialling, which this thread seems to be more about.

What do you guys think? It would be an easier way to group together all of the finished levels without having to keep updating a single post, then eventually not being able to edit it anyway.

The thread would be for uploading finished variations, and nothing else. Would it be a good idea?

It'll be up very soon (like 10 minutes). Unfortunately you cannot edit a post after a certain amount of time, so people will have to post their level onto the new thread themselves.
I have made a very strict and clear set of rules to make sure the new thread doesn't get bogged down, like this one has done.

I'd like to see somebody do a let's play of this variation. It would be awesome to see how much people suck at it

I finally done it!

And it only took 28:34 minutes to do!

Sorry there's no sound, it decided to record the mic and I wasn't really saying anything (thank god I sound really bad on a mic).

Oh yeah, I fell for the red arrows once! But still I sucked at it...

EDIT:
HERE'S TEH VIDEO!

If you're actually mad enough to sit and watch me fail over and over again for almost 30 minutes, make sure you have time and are sitting comfortably.

I just saw (as I was uploading the video)that the first LED screen makes no sense. It says about picking up grenades from a BOOM machine but I finished the whole level and there wasn't 1 BOOM machine in the whole thing.
