I didn't know you had already made one, do you want credit in the game? Also can I take a look at your sprites that you made, I might take them if they look similar to the ones I have made.

also everyone I know this is random, but the graphics are getting frustrating, I'm making the backgrounds too simple and the machinery and floor tiles too advanced... and the sprites too simple... I have like 5 different types of graphics in 1 game, ahhhhh!!!!

Well, maybe focus on the background more then the other things. Trying to focus on all things at once is gonna leave multiple mishaps... :P

yeah but not being able to actually work on it inside gamemaker gives me time to work on sprites and all the graphics, here I'll post some now, what does everyone think? also do the bars below the platforms look weird?

I got a screenshot of oddysey and then used photoshop to cut them out of it, but I also minimized them and then added some stuff in. But yeah they're basically just rips

hello everyone, I haven't been on the OWF for a long time (2 weeks), because I've been ver buisy with other things, andthis is just a post to let everyone know I haven't stopped my project (fan game), and I will probably be back here in about a week posting more stuff... maybe, but I'm really buisy with other stuff at the moment.

true but on gamemaker an "engine" is a prebuilt game which can be edited or included in to the others game such as the basic platform engine i made for BTG the flying slig engine for BTG and this menu engine for BTG

2 month break? I take 2 month breaks all the time. Once you've had a year break then you're a real OWF member.

On topic though ya'll guys first starting out on your first games: Don't strive for unrealistic goals. Don't stress about making a good game. Just keep trying new things. You'll continually get better and eventually have something you'll be proud of.

Actually I will be gone for a long time, because In 2 weeks school starts

and I'll have soooooo much homework, and will have little time to work on this game, so anyway I'll be gone for 5 weeks ( and not add much to my game over that time period ) , but will occasionally check the forums, sometimes,
sorry everyone that it will take such a long time for the demo to come, and I doubt that I will have the whole game ready for the contest this christmas

P.S. @ J_dude320, I will send you my game that you were going to add the save/ menu feature when my laptop gets fixed ( right now it's at the repair center )
