Dino, we realize you're joking. It's just getting... a wee bit tiresome.

Is it just me, or does this new guy look in really poor health?

Hee hee. "Mon" is with the Jamaican accent. "Mang" is with the Cheech-esque Mexican accent. And both kick ass.

Pff. My grandpa's almost ninety and looks like a million bucks. Er. At least compared to this dude.

And I've never seen dark circles under the eyes that huge. I mean, dayumn. If he were some kind of emo rocker I might think it's makeup.

Personally, I was hoping for the black guy. And I agree, the new Pope is quite spooky-looking.

I bet some fundamentalist fanatic f-word is going to say his evil appearance is part of a devine plan and a sign that judgement day is nigh or something.

I say it's just because he's German. I've seen at least 10 elderly German males who look like the new pope. One in particular being a World War 2 veteran, who was one among many of the soldiers manning machine gun bunkers at Normandy beach during the D-Day landings. He has made several appearances on the Discovery channel, one in particular where he met up with an English and American war veteran to discuss the event on friendly terms.

Obviously it's just German genetics.

EDIT: John Paul the Second was in the Polish Army too.

Rattzinger fought for the armies of Hitler?

That's definately going to cause some controversy.

From what I read, his father was Anti-Nazi, but he was forced to join the Hitler Youth, and later deserted and was captured by the Allies. I can't remember how it went after that.

I heard he was in Hitlers Youth but I figured he was (most likely) forced into it, and it turns out he was. Apparently.

Being a part of the Hitler Youth was mandatory. It doesn't really bother me.

The Simon Weisenthal Centre (world-premier anti-nazi research organisation) put out a press release saying that they have no problem with Pope "Eggs" because he was forced into Hitler Youth.

1945 : Deserted German Army

They better watch out he may try to split from the Vatican
