When I was about 7, my dad had this really old game on his computer... it was this 2D scroller made up of blue lines against a black background and the main character was made up of about 100 pixels... thee was this one creature you had to avoid (there was no fighting in that game, it was an avoid-'em-up-puzzler-type-thing) that looked like a giant skull and crossbones on legs... it scared me totally! Funny thing is, I had a really violent shoot-'em-up where you had to blow enemies up with napalm grenades and so forth, and that didn't scare me one bit!
I used to be frightened of slugs, grandfather clocks (I don't know why... maybe because I didn't like the idea of a clock that was taller than me and made loud noises) and, at one one point, I was scared of lavatories and refused to use them!
