Stupid childhood fears
 

What was the stupidest thing that you were afraid of when you were a little kid?

I was afraid of Yoda when I was about 4. Yes Yoda... Strangely enough, the first time I saw Empire was about the same time I saw Predator and Alien and those movies did not bother me at all. However, I had nightmares about Yoda chasing me through the swamp.

I was terrified of accordians, for some odd reason.

When I was about 7, my dad had this really old game on his computer... it was this 2D scroller made up of blue lines against a black background and the main character was made up of about 100 pixels... thee was this one creature you had to avoid (there was no fighting in that game, it was an avoid-'em-up-puzzler-type-thing) that looked like a giant skull and crossbones on legs... it scared me totally! Funny thing is, I had a really violent shoot-'em-up where you had to blow enemies up with napalm grenades and so forth, and that didn't scare me one bit!

I used to be frightened of slugs, grandfather clocks (I don't know why... maybe because I didn't like the idea of a clock that was taller than me and made loud noises) and, at one one point, I was scared of lavatories and refused to use them!

I was afraid of anything pre-1930. Don't ask me why... plus I always lived in fear that the aliens were gonna kidnap me in the middle of the night... GWAAA!!! *Runs around screaming* I was also afraid of the Weather Channel.... I mean, come on, it's scary!! That old creepy music they used to have on there... *Shudders* Oh, I was REALY afraid of those National Brodcast System tests with that weird buzzing sound.. that used to scare me... and the "Young and the Restless" theme song also frightened me.... wow.. no wonder I'm so weird.

my friends brother had the AO demo i was so scared of abe (i was 5) especially when he farted don't ask me why now AO and AE are my favorite games

Okay, this is dumb. When I was three, I use to watch pinocchio when his nose would grow. My brother told me if I lied, then my nose would grow long, so did the girl next door who was like 13. My other brother would always grab my nose and go "Wooooooop!" Demostrating that it will grow long. So, when i lied, I would use to go to the mirror 24/7 and see if my nose was growing long. I looked at my profile and everything.

I watched a scary movie, that this guy had two heads from eating toxic. My mom said that the waste that comes out of you, they would make toxic out of that. I was three. I like peed in my pants and i would always check and rub m neck to see if I had two heads. I was a weird kid.

And I feared Toxic Avenger the cartoon, that use to come on USA. What happen to USA! It use to have all the cool 80's cartoons!

I was always really terrified of that Stromboli guy from Pinnochio. I had an uncle that was kind of big and creepy and had a deep voice, and was scared of him, too. I also was scared of dying.

I was afraid of mirrors. I used to watch this show and this one charector said to another that mirrors could steal your soul and trap it forever. The worse part was that my mom had a sliding closet tith mirrors on it. Now I'm afraid of clowns.

when i was about 6, i was always afraid of the carwash. everytime the big brush came down on the windshield i would hide. *shudders* :eek: :eek:

i was fraked for a few month about some guy in a white rumbling car, he would come around the nieghborhod and kill anyone he founnd!!!!!!!! this is a dream. but i was absouotely terrified nearly every night for about 3 months!!!!!!!!!!!!
