Yes, I imagine there's enough material to write an entire book, which would be a big project. Myst was the first real multimedia game I played, and I absolutely loved it, particularly the soundtrack. There were a number of books written along the lines of the story in the game and sequel. I only read the first, The Book of Atrus, but I really enjoyed it. It focused on the time before the game's story line, but also gave some background for the sequel. It helped in understanding the Myst universe, and the idea of being able to travel to a different place through a book, which was kind of baffling just playing the game. I'd love to read an Oddworld book that tied everything together.
