To make it even more obvious that it is a hoax, the email is not even sent by Hotmail Staff! The MSN email address is added to your contacts list when you join, you would know if Hotmail staff had sent you an email.
Also, if you go to the link given, there is another link directly to the left saying "Thousands fall for hotmail prank". Click on the link and read the story. You should now feel like an idiot. You're welcome.
