Yes, I think it's possible there are only 583 contacts, because too many people use more contacts. When 583 nick name will be uses MSN can close.

I received this e-mail from one of my MSN contacts, I've searched in google informations about it, and I found an e-mail received by a guy: he received that e-mail from Andy and John, the directors of MSN. If you want I can add the message.
I am not sure MSN is going to close, but I am scared: I love MSN!!!

I seriously doubt it would close, its too popular. And how do you know the guys are the directors of MSN and aren't actually lying?

We can ignore it, but what about dadecarlo@hotmail.it (don't accept it)? If someone accept this contact, he take a virus that "destroys" his PC, then he can't use it. Someone thought it wasn't virus, so accepted the contact and took a virus. And all of his contacts took the virus too.
So, we have to take steps.

You can search in Internet informations: MSN could close, much peope think it is a blunder but I think it is possible because much people use much MSN contact.

If Microsfot do want to close it down it's because it's to populr for thir own dam good.

There too much persons who are enrolled in MSN, and some people don't use one account but plus account. So, or MSN become to payment or.... its possible that MSN closes.

MSN is not going to close, MSN chats where closed a LONG time ago due to too many pedo's using them, just like yahoo chats where down for that reason a while ago.
If the MSN network shuts down then there are plenty more you can use, and for that reason m$ are in competition with the others, it isnt going to close/shutdown. If they shut down their IM network a lot of people would hate them, plus it would be like they're letting skype/yahoo/aol/aim/irc win

To make it even more obvious that it is a hoax, the email is not even sent by Hotmail Staff! The MSN email address is added to your contacts list when you join, you would know if Hotmail staff had sent you an email.

Also, if you go to the link given, there is another link directly to the left saying "Thousands fall for hotmail prank". Click on the link and read the story. You should now feel like an idiot. You're welcome.
