"lost" Oddworld game?
Hey everyone, I recenty came across an old A&E entertainment almanac I found in my uncle's basement. It was the 1997 edition. In the home entertainment section, there was an article by one James K. Willcox about the next-generation consoles of the day. You remember them: Playstation, Saturn, and N64.
At the end, Mr. Willcox listed "the best ten games to play on each system." One of the Playstation games was Soul Storm. The text beneath said the following:
"With eye-catching graphics and an unusual twist on gaming, you avoid conflict rather than seek it, Soul Storm features an escaped slave named Abe as the main character who must solve numerous puzzles and overcome obstacles, often by learning songs or sentences."
The game Soul Storm seems to be a conceptual name for AO, but i find it intersting that it would later surface as the name of the brew made by the greedy, diabolical Glukkons in AE. It makes you wonder what OWI's original intent was, does it not?
