When you say "Americans" you seem to be refering to everyone in the nation, and no offense, but I don't like it how seemingly people think that
we think we are so much better and must degrate anything we can't do. Not once have I personaly ever thought that America was better than any other country, or that we must be the best. Nor have I thought that international news is worthless unless it involves us.
Although I don't like using the term "Americans" most people I think aren't interested in those sports. Those sports are in America also, but just aren't heard about or are covered up by more popular sports from America. Who knows, maybe it was the evolution of the country, that interest in those games there have worn down. And if it is sore losing (which it is some of the time, most likely) then who cares, some people from the forums are sore losers and arrogant *cough*cough*. I don't care how people started thinking all Americans are arrogant and stuck up, or how we are so much worse than others (aren't we all equal anyways?) but I don't like it, because some don't deserve it and aren't like that. We can all have pride and enjoy where we come from, but saying things about other places that aren't true is just stupid. Your doing the same thing you say we're doing, acting like you are the best and that somewhere else sucks. Please no offense to anyone who I may have ofended, if you do not bash other countries etc... I praise you. I aim this at the people who do.
Just as a side note, I haven't heard much about golf, baseball or basketball in other countries. Maybe its just the media covering it up, much like some of the sports from the two posts above this are publicized? Hehehe...
*waits for quotes to come pouring in* Luckily Danny isn't here right now
EDIT: Ah, I went a little overboard didn't I. But by netball, is that like what we call volleyball or something? I know there are sports called different names in other countries and/or areas...
