I like it how it looks now, I thought the degree of shininess and wrinkles was a little overwhelming before on the first model, but the way it is now looks much closer to what I've come to know Abe's skin texture to be.

Yes I agree, the matte texture definitely looks more like Abe as we know him
I do think the darker wrinkles and harder lighting added a nice sense of depth though. I think the lighting looking much softer/flatter is why I thought the model looked a bit odd compared to Munch, especially considering they're both standing in the same circle window and the lighting would be the same.
Nevertheless, it's great to know its the same model as the one we saw previously! The blurriness I mentioned, looking back, could easily be the video resolution and the UV map will no doubt be very crisp in full HD.
