RAAANT
The so called "Self-righteous" cyclist who took these videos also has an entire channel dedicated to pointing out other cyclists who break the law as well. It's not just motorists he targets. You can find it here.

And I believe I've said what I wanted to say here a month ago:
:
Cyclists have as much right to be on the roads as motorists do, so long as they follow the road rules - But bikes and cars don't mix. There ought to be a separate cycling infrastructure like they have in Holland, but nope, UK government is far too cheap for that.
Other than that, to make your rant about the incident at 4:25 irrelevant, first, learn your highway code:

:
Rule 129:
Double white lines where the line nearest you is solid. This means you MUST NOT cross or straddle it unless it is safe and you need to enter adjoining premises or a side road. You may cross the line if necessary, provided the road is clear, to pass a stationary vehicle, or overtake a pedal cycle, horse or road maintenance vehicle, if they are travelling at 10 mph (16 km/h) or less.
The cyclist was travelling at over 10 MPH so had every right to be in the middle of the road, which justifies his behaviour. That's not self-righteous. The car driver blatantly breaks the law by overtaking him across solid double white lines in the path of oncoming traffic (which would have broken the law even if the cyclist was travelling at under 10 MPH), then slams on the breaks directly infront of the cyclist, gets out and starts swearing at him. And you're ranting about cyclists needing to abide to the law?

As for the taxi driver, remember that the video was taken out of context. You should watch the entire thing first (click here), particularly the parts after 2:11 where the taxi driver drives in the cycle lane while other cyclists are using it, and where he pushes past the camera cyclist taking the video at speed at 2:52 (breaking Highway Code Rule 163). Because the camera cyclists filters past the Taxi shortly afterwards (perfectly legal), the taxi driver then tries to run him off the road by stopping directly infront of him, believing the cyclist touched his cab which he clearly did not - That's NOT overtaking, that's being a dick! And nothing justifies that!
