Hope you enjoy this chapter and thank you all for reading

Chapter 3
As the weeks passed we became greater friends, I became close friends with Yorek. There was something familiar about him. It was the kind of feeling where you’ve known the person before but never met. We guarded the Mudokon fortress and assisted with the jobs that needed doing in the village. We soon grew bored so Me and Yorek asked if we could take a break, so we could go out and explore the natural wilderness. They allowed us to go, thanks to the work we had done for the village. They gave me my magnum back and told us to be careful not to wander into the Slig patrols. We were out for hours. We chased rats, teased Scrabs and jumped into Paramite webs. We wandered through the forests and found one of the Slig patrols. We ran behind the nearest tree but it was no use as the sounds from my pants had alerted them. I had my gun in hand ready encase they spotted us. I heard them moving, they were getting closer, they were right in front of the tree. Then I heard gun fire. I thought the patrol had spotted us. I thought I’d be dead, but Karkun had followed us. The Sligs were now on the floor writhing in pain. We examined there equipment. They camped in a tepee like tent. It was filled with technical equipment. Yorek was good with technology and read out why they were here:

Journal 3465
We have been sent by Queen Skillya to find the Slig(s) who had abandoned their post at SoulStorm Brewery. We have been promised a reward for their capture. They were seen assisting Abe the terrorist in destroying the brewery.

Journal 3471
We have set up camp in a forest near the remains of SoulStorm Brewery. If they ran then they would probably have taken shelter here in this area.
