Odd Incident in AE.

I was playing AE again and you know how the slaves say in the same voice "hello" and abe says in a different voice "hi" well abe used the same voice while i was playing and said "hello" instead it did that for a cpl minutes then went back to normal.

I know , his voice changes in AE...;IN AO Abe is more determined in voice...But in AE he is talking in a playful voice ( downloaded a "first level" demo ) (NO INTRO OR NOTHIN)

What site did you download a demo from?

Er, Abe says "hi" in a really depressed voice sometimes when heaps of mudokons die.

If you kill more Muds than you save Abe gets unhappy. It's a Quarma thing.

Theres no Quarma in AE or AO-----I got the AE game alredy-------Only Quarma in Mo ( played game in a Gamestore)

Wow! I didnt know that! Cool!

What i mean is usually in AE he says hi in that weird voice but that one time he said hello just like the other mudokons and in the same voice and it was in the begining of the game and i didnt kill any mudokons.

In Abe's Exoddus, the tone of Abe's voice is determined by his status, the equivalent of "quarma" for Munch's Oddysee. When the game begins, Abe's status (number of saved muds - number of killed muds) is zero, so he is neutral. That's why he says "hello"in a neutral tone. If you start killing muds, his status will become negative, and he will say "hello" in a depreesed voice. If you start to rescue muds, his status will become positive, and he will say "hi!" in a happy or excited tone. Every time you cross the positive - neutral - negative status, Abe changes his tone of voice.

I said for the thousandth time (err 2nd time) this happened when i just started out so i didnt kill any and its only happened once.

cullzoid 12-17-2001 01:04 AM

Exactly! this is because the scales of mudokons saved and mudokons killed were equal (you just started, or so u said)

Gee! some people! (not u roop)
