Well, wasn’t that lovely? I think I’m getting better at all this black magic music embedding.

Hello once again, one and all, to the results evening of the Annual Oddworld Forums Poster Awards X! It’s been an interesting process, calculating up votes with my horde of unpaid, basement-dwelling Asian migrant workers just in the back room over there. Thank roo rery much to Sekto for lending me the manpower (children power?) to get this monolithic task done. I’ll reimburse you for the ones that didn’t make it after the show.

Well here we all are then, collected together in quiet envy and jealousy as we wait to see who our most prized members of the year are. Of course even if I don’t win any awards this year, I think we can all safely say that I am our most cherished fellow of all. Now then, as some of you may remember, last year the stage was falling to bits after years of neglect. Well not anymore! I can now reveal that the reason we haven’t had our Captcha defences upgraded is because Alcar used all the money to rebuild this fancy set up right here. Unfortunately it may be the case that since OANST lost all that weight over 2012; we may not have had to reinforce the stage after all.

I really must say, it’s an honour to be a part of this community and to have even met some of you in person. Whether it’s OANST’s unique brand of trolling, T-Nex’s gentle moderating, Strike Witch’s obscure anime references, Phylum’s skills as a flautist or Oddjobabe’s laxatives, there’s always something to have a look at. I think I can safely say that one of the internet’s oldest communities is also one of the most closely knit.
