That review SUXS! You just can't say a movie is a worthless piece of shit, you have to tell us why it sucked dino dong so much. Plus just because it's a sequel doesn't mean it has to be a shameless way to get more mone. Look at jaws 4,all of the goosebumps books,may they be shining becons of hope in this desolate land of entertainment not all sequels must be pathetic. Wait a minute, those things sucked

i don't really see how it could be any less entertaining than Jurassic Park 2...
anyway, it doesn't have to be shit just because it's a sequel, statikk, it might just be shit by coincidence. the only good sequels i can think of offhand are Aliens and Toy Story 2. |

I saw it a while ago...it was ok. not that great. thats just my opinion though.
The God father sequels. ummm... back to the future sequels were ok. Evil dead 2 and army of Darkness were superior to the first,I think. Wes Craven's New Nightmare. Most sequels are pretty bad,sad to say... JP3 was better than 2. |

It was action-packed, I can't argue there. Too bad all the action was cliched and boring and not suspenseful and just plain old DUMB. The whole movie felt rushed. It barely had a plot at all.

ooh! i know a good sequel....anyone remember when i posted a topic calling to 'anyone with a sense of humour?' that topic was about earthbound...a game tied with oddworld for my favorite, and the earthbound we have here is the sequel to earthbound in japan (in japan they are actually called mother and mother 2 not earthbound)

I watched Jurassick Park 3 a few hours ago. It's a good action movie, with good visual effects and great dinosaur acting. But I have to say it's not a deep movie, it is just like the other two.
The first one was great, innovative, original. The second one was not that great, mostly because of Jeff Goldblum(Malcon)'s horrible performance, I'm really glad he is not in the third movie. There is nothing new in the 3rd one, except for a couple of new dinosaurs, and the new discovery made by Doctor Grant (Sam Neil, the main reason I went to the theather to see this movie). Dr. Grant thinks that Velociraptors are very, very smart creatures, highly social, and capable of complex communication bettween each other, and he will soon know he is right... This is the best part of the plot, and it could be well developed. Unfortunately, the movie ends just like the others, giving us the felling that what the producers want to do is just an endless sequence of Jurassic Park movies, each one giving us a little glimpse of dinosaurs universe. I'd give it 3, out of 5. |

well a friend of mine said that Raptors might have snuck on board...but Raptor's can't literally bite a person and just leave their severed hands...so I don't know..its a mystery to me..
Edit: wait wait! I think i know...remember the T-Rex was in that cage thingy on the deck, but it broke out of it when it woke up, killed the crew, and THEN got itself trapped in the hold... [ July 23, 2001: Message edited by: Dragadon ] |

Just saw it today...
Did the people seem a little blase when they were on the copter and they see pterodactyls flying? The people nearly got eaten by those and they see the critters flying(read 'no longer confined to the island')and everyone is smiling and acting like it's cool. Or did I miss something...I would've though it would be as sinister as a pack of raptors learning to sail a boat... And the raptors seemed to find humans a little less to their taste...They kill that guy in the jungle but don't eat him...and when they get their eggs back, it's like 'Thank you for returning our eggs-Have a nice day.' i saw the movie last saturday. I liked it...but to be completely honest I felt it did lack something...something the previous two had (im sure it wasn't the plot...), cant put my claw on it though.

the first one didnt really follow the books (even though they were based on them!!) so i think its pretty stupid thy made a three. 2 was gay thanks to jeff goldblum

i liked the character of Ian Malcolm in the books, and i thought Jeff did okay in JP1, but for some reason he was totally off in JP2. i'm not sure why... i think maybe he's not very good at being the main character...

I read the book in 7th grade, and our whole class failed the test because we didi not read the book. WE just watch the movie and we all got like 12's and the lowest was like 5 or 7.
