Dragonmist, please read the rules. ;)
My favourite creature is the Scrab because they whoop ass big time. :D |
:)I like steefs and the made up Oddworld creature things I made....Like Zaymagons, :pthey kill everybody else and eat them.
|
Paramites. I once had memorized the language according to AE, but it's been a while since I've played it.
|
Definately Interns. Don't ask me why. One of the main characters in my fancomic is an Intern (see my sig). It's probably because we have so much in common...
|
The scrab because it pwns anything near it most of the time.
|
Slig's because they get gun's and bomb's and steroid's
|
Octigi all the way!
|
For some reason I like them all.
Especially the bad ones, heh. I only dislike the Gabbits. I couldn't see a good reason to love them. They're like boring frogs for me... |
Are you effing kidding me? Gabbits are adorable, especially Munch, and he was a hero too, he saved his entire race from extinction!
Well, I can't really say which ones I like the most but I can say which ones I don't like very much...that would be the SW cast |
Seeing as there is a thread for this already, could a beautiful Moderator move this to Necrum or what ever?
|
I can't stand Gabbits, i think they are incredibly ugly and pointless. I love mudokons, abe is awesome! i think paramites are adorable, but mudokons and sligs are by far the best, they have such good storylines/backgrounds and their physical appearance is quite appealing. I don't like scrabs, i get eaten by them too often!

I didn't like SW's cast much, they mostly seemed too...well, normal, or human. And Clakkerz just plain sucked. They're just anthro chickens. Looking back at Mudokons and Sligs, and we know Oddworld could do better than that! Honestly.
SHRYKULL RAWR. |
Clakkerz were too damn cheeky. I just loved smacking them and shooting stuff at them.
I think Gabbits were really cute. |
I dont really like gabbits either...I like sligs the best. They rock.
|
Come. On. I never even knew we had so many Munch-bashers. I don't get why. What's not to like? He's cute in an ugly kind of way, he swims, he's amphibian, and he saved his entire species. :fuzemb:

Munch, the interns, and the vykkers were all pretty cool, but damn near every other character design from Munch's Oddysee or Stranger's Wrath was sad. When Farzad left, so did the intelligent character design and instead we got stuck with these anthropomorphic muppet characters.
The fuzzles are easily the most pathetic looking creature ever to grace OW. There is absolutely nothing even remotely realistic or intriguing about them. Stranger's Wrath, though a fun game and continuing with Oddworld-type ideas, lacked sickeningly in the character design department. You were forced to fight recycled bad guys from Crash Bandicoot sequels. Everyone wants to comment on how cool fangus klot could have been or how sweet citizen siege will be, but these are all dumb-ass FPS ideas with a random Micheal Moore quote thrown into the game design. Doesn't anyone remember how great oddworld was when it defied everything that had become cliche about video games? No boss battles. No inventory icons. No health bars. No weapons. You would die from a single scratch and everything around you had either an empty stomach or a machine gun. The story was dark and mature and didn't compromise. When 3D was law, they went 2D photorealism and had the finest FMV's to date. And from the very top-most shallow layer of the experience, and dripping to the very bottom was the IDEA: an actually artistically conceptual message that was being thoroughly communicated in an exciting and still young medium. Oddworld should have shot for Shadow of Colossus, but Gears of War pays the bills, I guess. Good luck with the movies. So, to answer your question: I like bats. They got a bad rap. |
Well, Gabbits are alright, what I like about them are their really emotional eyes. I like sloggies the best, cute but viscous!
|
mudokons, obviously
|
I like Alves.
|
I like mudokons, they are so well designed and buit they are well, realistic. and elum was designed really well, too. i don't like gabbits, his head is impossibly big. after AO, and AE, the storylines just went outta whack. really, what makes an odd game is the characters and the storylines. SW is so appauling, i would hardly classify it as an oddworld game. shame on the OWI! I may sound harsh, but I'm right, ain't I? Oh yeah, paramites are the best, they are so cute, yet so bloodthirsty, i love them!!

Plus I liked that gameplay very much. It was way better then MO. |
Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus were the best games for me from Oddworld Inhabitants (Surprise: I haven't played Munch's Oddysee or Strangers Wrath and I haven't seen pictures from the gameplay. :D )
Back to the thread: Mudokons. Without them no Abe's Oddysee, Abe's Exoddus or Munch's Oddysee would have been released. :) Of course that isn't the only case I like them. |

And for all those people who don't like Munch, wtf people?! He's freaking adorable, even cuter than the fuzzles and meeps. Just look at those eyes! Munch is the king of cute. |
I love paramites. I'd love to have one for a pet, although I'd have to get rid of my waterbed if I did...
And I must agree with Marvak. Munch is huggably cute. |

I think you'll find that paramites are the kings of cute.
