Being 15 I am still a virgin, but I intend to erase that title as soon as the opportunity arises.

Lot's of people consider different things when it comes to virginity.
In some respects, I am not a virgin.
In other respects, I am.
You should be a bit clearer.

When I say vigin I mean have you been in bed with someone?

In that respect I am a virgin.

Again, define "in bed."
If you mean had sex and then slept together until the next morning, then I am a virgin in that respect.
I hate to point out techincalities, but some people might not know what you mean by "in bed."
I understand you are trying not to use too many potentially embarrassing words, but if a thread like this is going to exist, then the question should be clear ...

Well, I know some non-virgins, and what I gathered from talking to them is this...

It's not a good idea to rush and sleep with anyone just because you want to lose your virginity. I know a dude who can't remember his first time because he was drunk. The only thing he remembers about it is waking up next to someone very ugly.

It's better to go with the flow(no pun intended) and wait 'till you have someone you truly care about.

I'd have to agree with you. While I may appear sex-ravenous to some of my friends, I'd only ever actually participate in it with someone who I care about deeply. I don't see why there is a huge rush for teenagers to do the deed so soon. You'll end up regretting it.

Yup... again thumbs up... but to be honest waiting til you're married can cause problems... there is such a thing as sexual compatability... and waiting til your wedding night and finding that you just aren't never will be... ever would be a nightmare!

It could be that you can't do it well/good/at all, it may be painful for your partner etc etc or finding a chicken in the honeymoon bed will all put great pressure on a marriage... and being as you want to wait til you're married I assume divorce wouldn't be an option.

Sex isn't the be all and end all of a relationship but it is the highest level of intimacy... not being able to experience that with my husband would kill me.

Yes, I'm still a virgin. I personally am glad. To me the feelings in my heart and soul are so much more than that and so much deeper. I'm not going to get into the details, but even if ever that opportunity arose at this time in my life I'm not sure what I would do about it though. I love her so much, truly, not just some mere physical attraction, (that still plays a part in the overall scope) but my love for her is ascended above that...perhaps I'll discuss more about what happened to me in that topic when I returned. I truly is more complicated than I have made it seem.
