Oddworld.com is updated.

A lot more info than normal (without giving too much away). I hope they put that Stranger model in stores...

(I didn't see a thread on this yet-sorry if this is a repeat).

Just checked on OW.com myself and saw the updates. Have to go update OWW now. There's some really good stuff.

Alf: Probably Elums and whatever other quasi-meat products they could find lying around. At Rupture Farms, no carcass goes unturned. Waste not want not!

I'm assuming that D. Caste Raider is the final boss, since the Anonymous Inhabitant was talking about the final boss and his "minions", of which Caste has 2. Of course, this would go against the logic of the cigar smoking outlaw being the leader, but who knows.

Wow, Bosses in an Oddworld game. And it seems SoulStorm Brew is making an appearance as well. Guess there will be Mudokons in the game afterall. (in a different form, that is...) :p

I hope that they are truly planning on selling those trading cards, they seemed quite happy with them. I think the new Outlaw's name is..uh...*squints eyes*...er....Snapps Manis?

AND a description of Stranger witnessing a death and something about a cool dam scene (no pun intended).

gee I hope they will release a lot of merchandising, icluding those cards, and that bronze statue!

Maybe they can make a poster with those cards! (A bit like this Marilyn Manson poster )

Class does anyone know where these cards are and why none have apeared on ebay unless they have and i missed them... hmmmmmm

I'm wondering that too. I think the only possible explanation is that only OW fans went to that booth and, of course, they'd want to keep the cards. Of course non-OW fans may have thought the cards were just too uber-cool to sell.

Well, if this "hint-hint" paragraph is getting at the fact of merchandise and the idea stays at a stead-fast pace then you can most likely expect to see atleast the trading cards in stores. And notice how the writer is trying to draw your attention to the word flip....*ponders a ponder*

I also think it's awesome how they have different coloured environments to set the mood;

Sal graveyard-gray/blue
Dam area-blue
Everyone's all time fav environment-orange

I hope they wont make cards we have to collect...
simply cards to buy, and you know what's in each pack.
(I don't want to have all the collection but 2 missing cards, and spending lots of money just to find the packs with those 2 "rare" cards)

Aww, it seems you won't be able to choose which Bounties you go for first. I wonder if there'll be an alternative ending to each of the Bounties if you don't catch them? I.E - when you attack one Boss guy, and catch him, you get one ending. If you don't catch him, you get a different ending. If you kill him, you get another ending.

Maybe not an ending, but a CG movie right after you fight/catch/kill that reflects what you did and how much money/quarma you get or lose.

In one of the pictures under the paragraph about the ending it looks like an octigi and it looks like its in the picture with the machinary too.

I cant wait till this game comes out!

Those pictures are what my dreams are made of. Seriously, i've dreamed about them loads of times.

On a similar note, I dreamt I got the game through the post from some online pre-order thingy... was very dodgy. Gotta stop thinking about this game...

Yes, they were just doing a CG test. It didn't have a background because it did not require one.

I remember that one. Stranger didn't even have arms in that test!

As for the cards...I'd like for them to be sold, but then that'd take away the rare-ness of them. You know? I do want those cards though...really bad. Oh, and it better not be like pokemon where you don't know what's in the pack. That'd just be lame.

Oh... i had no idea,i realy thought the was a sky. I though you were on about the white background. And how come Stranger himself reflects the blue light on him.

Brillant levels, they look so huge and waste like. They also mentioned there making a big faclilte.The blue sky enivroment appears to have the big gate, and looks to have some snow!

It's not an empty environment, It's just that the poor resolution and colouring makes it look like a sky.

Having OWI send them to us! If those guys would be willing to send me some, I'd pay for shipping.

Yep right on schedual see I was right all along. Last month when I ordered Stranger the guy also told me there is a whole new host of pictures and cards that are going to be commeing out and as we see now that is true. We got some new stuff. Now as for release its tentively June but it maybe later than that like September and thats why I predicted. Their in the wrap up stage adding in the final stuff. This is what I baseing my predictions off of. Its official information that the main stores have and are putting in their computers. I dident ask I guy I asked him could you look it up in the computer and lone and behold he gives me the same information we are getting right now from OWI.

Hmmm, funny you mention that now...instead of telling us when you found out before the May updates.

I don't like being mean, but it seems very fishy to me.

I dident mention it before I mentioned part of it. plus there was a whole lot of info I was getting so I dident mean to be so crazy on this or anything Oddguy I just dident explane it right.

All I know the old vast Oddworld we once knew looks as if its comming back. I am dieing to see a few in game pictures. This is like eye candy for me since all these pictures are works of art and being an artist these are soo pleaseing to the eye.

I can't wait to see that mean and menaceing factory that OWI is talking about. In the inhabitants interview he said we are going to be so surprised with this game that its going to effect all of us. I am so woundering what that surprise might be! I can't take it anymore this is so exciteing! I am going mad!:lol:

1) first time we would see snow on oddworld, great!
2) it's orange... but the plants doesn't look the same

I think that's it in the first pic. They mentioned the facility in the same paragraph as that pic.
