I've heard this is just a gold filling in the great turd of what CN has become.

On the other hand, I'm asking for like 3 seasons of E,E&E for Christmas.

There is a lot of crap on Cartoon Network. This is true. But the combination of The Misadventures of Flapjack, and Chowder (their two currently running original shows) make up for almost everything else. I think that Flapjack is their best show since Ed, Edd, 'N' Eddy.

The new Lady GaGa video is fantastic. Whee.

This is what we call an oxymoron.

Reread...Harry Potter...last book....

I'm confused.

Mac Sirloin 11-10-2009 09:02 AM

Fantastic as in it's like being in a fantasy world where everything is incomprehensible bullshit?

Josh 11-10-2009 09:10 AM

I'm assuming you didn't get the sarcasm. At the end of it, she kills a man with exploding tits. EXPLODING FRIGGIN TITS.

As long as we are talking about artists I like with shit new videos...:

Wife beating and crying into shower curtains. I'm assuming you have heard rock is dead:

Manson, is deader than dead,
Talent, it's all in his head,
His sex and his dope were what made him good,
So man the fuck up and loose the damn hood.

Leto 11-10-2009 08:58 PM

I like Lady Gaga. but this bad romance, is nothing but a terrible amalgamation/medley of all of her previous singles, with a stupid "I REALLY WANT TO BE WEIRD" pretentious video.

and manson went out of style in like what, 1999?

Earlier. But shame, Leto. When a particular 'style' of music is hot should have no bearing on why a person should like or dislike the musician. :3

Leto 11-10-2009 09:29 PM

quiet you, you know what i mean. *started sucking since.

You only just discovered EE&E?
Shit, man. Your childhood was lacking a vital component of awesome.

@ Leto
You know I'm just playing, babe. Come back to bed.

No, I watched it when I was younger, but since I have Teletits and YTVagina it didn't air after like 2001.

Josh 11-11-2009 10:29 PM

Shingai Shoniwa, Noel Feilding and Tim Minchin on Buzzcocks. *Orgasm*

King Oddy 11-14-2009 12:58 PM

The first live-action Death Note movie.

Amazing.

(and now I'm gonna go watch the sequel )

OddjobAbe 11-14-2009 01:07 PM

I love that film. I have seen it so much, I could write ther script from memory. Have you seen "Without a Clue"? It was on television today. It's quite funny.

The first live-action Death Note movie. Amazing.

It is a vey good movie. Everybody always complains because I prefer it to the Anime one (though I haven't seen all of the Anime one anyway).

Disgruntled Intern 11-14-2009 06:11 PM

I'm making Dorian watch David Lynch's movies. I eased her into it with dumbland, then Mulholland Dr. I think Eraserhead will be the grand finale.

She didn't get Mulholland Dr., and when I told her that no one really does, she became even more frustrated.

Sekto Springs 11-14-2009 06:16 PM

She'll be even more frustrated when she tries to recognize all the complicated metaphors in Eraserhead only discover that there aren't any and David Lynch is just insane.

Leto 11-14-2009 07:33 PM

eraserhead is easy fish compared to mulholland dr

Sekto Springs 11-14-2009 07:51 PM

I introduced you to Eraserhead, Leto.
Good times. Good times...

Leto 11-14-2009 08:51 PM

your surrree did, and tried to do batman, but i still can't get into that shiz, lol.

Sekto Springs 11-14-2009 09:05 PM

To each their own.
You're a bit too fucked for Batman. ;D

I used to have Blue Velvet on tape when I was going through an avant-garde phase. I wish I could find it. I really enjoyed it.

Leto 11-15-2009 02:37 AM

you're on the internet... i'm sure you could work something out

and by something i mean piracy.

OddjobAbe 11-15-2009 02:46 AM

But I want my tape back. I loved that tape.

But piracy will put me on until I find it. Thank you.

fucking hell here we go. :tard:

i reckon 'Piracy Pirate' or something would be a good CT.

Fuzzle Guy 11-15-2009 06:43 AM

I watched Without a Trace last night. God, it's good. Anthony LaPaglia is an awesome actor.

shaman 11-15-2009 07:46 AM

I watched "Death note" a few nights ago. Great film, i find myself asking: Kira or "L"?

slig# 5719 11-15-2009 01:06 PM

Ah, Deathnote. A brilliant series. I bought my sister Deathnote and Deathnote 2: The Last Name for her birthday. We both enjoyed the films but not as much as the Anime series. currently getting all the Manga books too.

Ridg3 11-15-2009 02:00 PM

Believe it or not, but I've only seen The Shining a week ago and I'm disgusted with myself...Why did I not watch it earlier. But I do believe that if they made a remake Jim Carrey would play the character Jack Torrence.

Mac Sirloin 11-15-2009 02:19 PM

Saw Orphan on Friday.

It...it was somethin'.

Saw Orphan on Friday.

Creepy, I watched it Friday too.
Thought it sucked.

OddjobAbe 11-15-2009 03:16 PM

I just watched Little Voice. Never seen it before, but I was happy to see many familiar actors - Michael Caine (who I saw yesterday in "Without a Clue"), Jim Broadbent and Ewan McGregor. And I haven't seen Jane Horrocks in a film for a while. That was interesting.
Wasn't a bad film, but it's one of those that, after the second time of watching it, would be boring.

And I have been watching my Laurel and Hardy DVDs again. Excellent. I can watch them over and over, and they never get old.

MA 11-15-2009 03:29 PM

last night i watched Ronin, which many people don't seem to know about. De Niro, Sean Bean and Jean Reno fit into their parts well. really do enjoy it every time i watch it.

also; farewell Stan!

OddjobAbe 11-15-2009 03:36 PM

So what, is "Ronin" all of their names fused into one? Like how the best train ever manufactured would be called the "Mallardelticflyingtornadohamilton"? Or is that entirely ridiculous?

EDIT: That wasn't even funny in the sense that it was shit. That might be the whole point. I don't know.

I'll have to watch it. I tend to enjoy films with Sean Bean in them.

I would have Stan say his farewells, but I can't be bothered visiting Photobucket.

MA 11-15-2009 03:51 PM

i was being lazy, damn you. but yeah, i didn't even know those actors were in it until i watched it; saw it on telly, years ago. out of the 3 though, i favour Jean Reno's performance, as he fits the role so well. probably because its set in France.

FILM SPOILER>Sean Bean isn't actually in the last half of the film, which was one of many surprises in the film. its like the first Mission Impossible, but a whole load better in the sense its more believable, which makes it all the more enjoyable in my opinion.

Hobo 11-15-2009 06:18 PM

Saw "Doctor who. The waters of mars" yesterday. Quite good, a bit of a bombshell.

OddjobAbe 11-16-2009 06:14 AM

I saw that. The trailers looked pretty good. As soon as the zombiething girl said something, I thought "they've fucked that up before it's started". Fortunately, the other two zombiethings were mute. It was all a bit too dramatic. They've been trying to make it too "epic" since the first series in 2005. That's not what the old Doctor Whos are about.

Wings of Fire 11-16-2009 06:16 AM

Heavens to Betsy! Changing a dated formula? The blackguards!
