I find it strange that the image is actually saying WISH YOU WERE HERE? in the form of a question rather than the usual, "Wish you were here(!)"
E: Soulstorm Brewery was actually SoulStorm Brewery 401, similar numbers but definitely not 0451, unless they retcon the factory number or use it for a different facility. |
The Brewery in Exoddus was number 401. Not far off.
|
I don't know if it's just coincidence or not (are there any coincidences right now?) But Lorne Lanning confirmed an Abe's Exoddus remake last year in April.
04/15. Not exactly 0451, but interesting atleast. Link to Oddworld.com Article. |
I was born on the 15h of May, it's 15/05. If you reverse it, you get 0551, which is almost 0451!
|
So I was looking through that text page, and one of the lines stood out to me. Taking away everything else in the line leaves "spirit of #RF dot jpg"
|
If you type in Fuzzle you get "EEBER]["
|
Going off grimGadabout's post...
http://oddworld.com/soulstorm/spiritof1029.jpg Hmmmm. PS wizards, do your thing! |
|
I brightened it and this happened.
http://s7.postimg.org/t2kfjcxqj/Untitled_1.png Its hard to tell what the lower word is, even with lessened brightness. |
|
That reversed sound is creepy.
|
Anyone know morse code then?
|
Cool music sample, but what does it do/say when it's reversed? On a phone right now so I can't do much with it myself at the moment.
|
It sounds as reversed as it was before, maybe even less fun.
Are the beeps a morse code? |
Misread the post, then. I thought someone had already reversed it, not that it WAS reversed.
|
It sounds... Strange when reversed. I'm trying to get a spectrogram to see if there are any messages within the song itself.
|
So, if that lsot.mp3 worked, I wonder why spiritof#rf.jpg brings up a #404.
|
Oh, STM, you silly goose, #rf means "the number of RF (in AO)" which is 1029
|
I was puzzled by that too, until I realized that #RF possibly meant Rupture Farm's number, which is 1029, which led to me finding the above picture, spiritof1029.jpg.
Annnnd Varrok beat me. |
I literally missed like the first four or five posts of this page, I went back up after I posted that and felt spastic.
e: well done though, +rep for the find. |
I left for like an hour, and my mind is exploding.
Edit: Alright, this again might be a coincidence... but "lsot" was on the source page. They either needed to give us more clues to figure it out, or they're tying everything together. still lsot ? .m I think we should revisit some of the source information.. I think we could dig some more out of it in the meantime! |
I tried to decipher the morse code, but I'm not very good at it and came out with "BM"...
BULLET MAGNET CONFIRMED AE. |
So that's why he's not posting anymore. Lorne Lanning kidnapped him to include in his latest game.
|
I found one! I typed in "tears" and got "SO MANY TEARS, SO MANY MEMORIES"
Edit: I also got "*** SO GOOD. SO TASTY. ***" when I typed in "brew". I think they may be changing a bunch of the responses compared to the list we already have. |

Also, this is in braille and says "monday" (or MON | DAY, if you prefer) |
I had a go at deciphering the morse code in the audio. It's probably wrong haha, i've not passed it through any software.
I found three instances of beeps that stood out to me as morse code. These were; 00:15 . .. .. (EII), or maybe ..... (5), can't decide which it is? 01:11 ._.. (L) 01:48 _. (N) So that's EIILN, or 5LN depending on the 00:15 one. I had a go passing these through the +13 caesar cypher, and that gave me RVVYA or 5YA respectively. Neither of which mean anything to me! It's either wrong or there's more to it somewhere that I'm missing I think. |
I reversed the audio and am trying to figure out some of the morse so far I've found "In" at roughly 20 seconds reversed
|
I think the answers are changing too. I tried "can you hear me?" again and got "YES, FAINTLY - COME CLOSER". The come closer bit is new. Will test out others later.
|
For me it's more like:
-- --.. -- |
Maybe it's changing because we're finding stuff out?
