On Topic: I personally can wait a little longer for the website, many other game have got delayed in the past and for me it jsut feels like another one of those times.

I think that most of us are just sick and tired of the ambiguity. Trying to give us lots of different ways to enjoy the Oddworld franchise and interact with each other? What does that mean? We all understand the need for secrecy before a full announcement, but after five years of nonsensical statements in regards to products that your fans, much less the general populace, couldn't care less about, well, it becomes frustrating.

I don't even care that you're going to be late on the website. Doesn't matter. I just wish that you people would come to the conclusion that if you can't, or won't say anything of substance then you shouldn't say anything at all.

For those wondering, and those not I'm Stewart Gilray from JAW, and have been lurking here for AGES!

Anyway, we had fully intended to announce 2 projects in the past week, however due to other considerations we're just wanting you guys to wait a lil-bit-longer.

When that'll be I can't say yet, as I REALLY don't know. But we want to make you guys happy, and we think we will :)

Honestly, yeah, I agree with some of what OANST is saying. It's been too many years we've spent waiting to be played with by cryptic statements. I don't mind that it is taking longer than expected to get out the website, I'm sure you guys are doing all you can.

But give us something. Just some basic information or something solid to latch onto.

What the fuck are you on about? Dead Rising released in 2007, the sequel is coming out in a few months. That is 3 years, when the hell did Stranger's Wrath come out again? Oh yeah, 2005. Its 2010, its been 5 years. Not to mention we're waiting for a press release, not even a game at this point. I think Duke Nukem Forever would be a more akin situation to Oddworld right now.

Also, I hate people who makes puns or jokes on the word odd in this forum, seeing the word mobb infuriated me.

This is the real problem. We can wait for announcements and websites, but isn't it possible to give us some kind of info on why it's taking so long, and a rough time frame? "Soon" can mean anything.

I was talking about the damn delay, not the waiting period between two consecutive games.

Dead Rising 2 was delayed from early 2010 all the way to August, and then again until late September, whilst it's only been 2 days of delay thus far for the new website.

There seems to be a general whine amongst a couple of you folks. Whiney little children.

My point still stands that the delay isn't even comparable to Oddworld right now.
