One member sent you an email. One member who has now been infracted and temp-banned. One member who has now been infracted and temp-banned sent you an email, which you can simply stop happening in the future by changing your settings.

As DarkHoodness said, you're making a mountain out of a molehill.

Yes, but that's why people give constructive criticism, to teach newbs the ropes. If said newbs choose to ignore those suggestions, then they've only got themselves to blame.

I really don't disagree with that.

Normad.... Many members start off scared and in a bad position here.. But if they stick around, learn the ropes and just keep going they usually find a way to fit in. It's really beneficial in the long run, cos we usually form a tight bond with each other.

Im sad to see you upset over all this though. In all honesty, no one has been really mean to you. A lot of people here had it much worse, and they still stuck around, and now it's all fine. If you're not gonna stay, at least take our advice for the next forum you visit :) It could pay off.

Mudokon_Master 03-05-2012 02:38 AM

Good luck where ever you're going from here whether you choose to say (and take our advice) or go off somewhere else.
But yeah, I agree with Nexy, everyone here is usually scared shitless with their first visit here. I don't know what it is about us but we're just indimidating to all new members, We really don't mean to be, we just try to give constructive critisizm where it's due. But stick around to find that we're all really nice people. Once you break that initial hostility, you'll get to know each and every one of us and understand our twisted humour. I'm pretty sure everyone's made at least one blog stating their love for each and every one of us here.
Love ya guys <3

I'm still confused as to why Oddman thinks my suggestion wasn't sensible.

STM 03-05-2012 06:08 AM

I think....we should all have tea and biscuits.

Crashpunk 03-05-2012 06:32 AM

Already ahead of you.

That's the best suggestion I've ever read from you. :P
I lurk. A lot.

OANST 03-05-2012 07:39 AM

I stop visiting the forum for the weekend, and look what happens. How could you all be so cruel, and disrespectful? I may have to start giving out OANSTFRACTIONS again.

Especially to Oddman. Christ. Shut your fucking mouth.

for some reason Sheridan seems to think we're best buddies and that i'm just being a dick for the fun of it, when really i'm trying to drive home a point. i always have a point.

take it from me, Sheridan. i don't like you. i doubt i ever will. please vacate my anus and have a nice day.

EDIT:

Oh, so I should be fit into the 'whiny cunt' category for having a bit of sympathy for someone who just joined. As I mentioned before, 'QUOTES. AT. START. OF. POST.' isnt exactly sensible is it? I might not post quotes below, but I can see why he decided to ignore it.

are you fucking brain dead? stop throwing your arms against me like a big wet fanny and realize i wasn't even the one that said 'QUOTES. AT. START. OF. POST.'

fuck me. THESE NEWBIES GET DUMBER EVERY YEAR

I don't think Spiderman is allowed on the forums for a little bit. Even I admit that sending the little fucker emails is a bit beyond the level of reasonable fun.

Respect is earned

Yes it is.

So why do you have the right to demand special treatment when you just got here?

MA 03-05-2012 08:21 AM

FUCK YOU GET OUT

scrabface 03-05-2012 08:24 AM

NO

MeechMunchie 03-05-2012 08:32 AM

See, he gets it. That's how you respond to everything here. A blunt, capitalised rebuttal.

I can sum up everyone's feelings about you in one sentence: We don't want you to go, but if you choose to stay you're going to have to treat other members with respect, and that includes posting in the way that they want you to post.

I think a good few people here do want him to go.

And I assure you everyone here has earned a great deal of respect from me for trying to deal with you patiently.

We see that you have potential to be a good member and are trying to teach you how to fit in and express yourself clearly!

We have to use that as the go-to line for all newbies who make a scene. Though I think this one's a lost cause.

Actually, we should compile a list of trainwreck welcome threads, so we can link new guys to them. "Here, these are some things you should avoid doing. Welcome."

also I feel that I am not really part of this community.

I feel the same way.

About you, I mean.

STM 03-05-2012 12:31 PM

I want to kill all of you. But in a nice way.
