Anything below Nvdia 6100 prolly. my server machine has an nvidia 5600 ultra which is completely piss and can't even run morrowind properly with the view distance right down. halo 2 runs on an nvidia 6100 so it should be fine, just saying you probably shouldn't bank on running it on an old machine/a netbook
|
I didn't post the damn' video because my internet is damn' slow and I can't load videos. It takes me a whole damn' 30 seconds to load a Youtube page, that's without the damn' video. If you want to see the damn' thing just damn' search for it your damn' self and damn' post it here then, damnit!

Why are you putting an apostrophe after your "damn"s?

This graphics card should be good, no? |

Why don't people buy games anymore? >_>
|
don't give me that fucking bullshit.
"US, November 11, 2009 - Research firm GfK Chart-Track has revealed first-day sales of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in the UK came in at an estimated 1.23 million units sold, nearly doubling that of the previous record holder Grand Theft Auto IV, which sold an estimated 631,000 units." http://au.xbox360.ign.com/articles/104/1044456p1.html now everyone just put a tampon in and woman the fuck up |
Question: How much units did World of Goo sell?
Answer: Not enough to keep their company alive. That's the kind of games that should be bought new instead of downloaded or bought second hand. Personally I only buy big games that already sold lots of units second hand. The other ones have my full support. |
:
World of Goo looked alive and well last I checked, and I checked two minutes ago. |
I mixed up, it was their publishing company that went under:
http://www.gamedaily.com/articles/ne...goes-bankrupt/ The point is still kinda valid... |
Not really, seeing World of Goo it seems like the sort of game that is available for download from the Xbox store and on special offer on Steam. I sure haven't seen it in any store in physical form, which would be the reason the publishing company went down. Publishing companies rarely get a dime for any copy sold online.
|
:
On the subject of piracy, why bother getting games like that? Just buy it pre-owend if you want it and don't have all the money. Now when it comes to music, unless it happens to be some flat ass broke indie band that needs the money to buy stuff, download away. I'm sure the big faceless corporations can take it. And if it can get shit artists like Lily Allen to quit, everybody get to Limewire and search for James |

If I see it again, I will surely buy it. The game was awesome and I'd love to have it as a box in my home. EDIT: Also... At those who just want to 'download' the oddworld games... It really disappoints me. From what I know, OWI could actually use a few honest buyers instead of people ripping their games. I generally don't download games, and I think people shouldn't.. Unless the money doesn't go to the company who made it anymore(then my principles change) |
I actually bought and played AO and AE through Steam a while back because I lost my original copies and they wouldn't work anyway. This is the number 1 way of never losing them again! :D
|
I'm amazed my original PC copy of AO works still. Runs smooth as silk, no glitches or bugs or anything. Astounding considering the condition of pretty much every other CD I own, and I bought them all long after 97.

You propably didn't hear 'bout Pay-What-You-Want Birthday Sale in which you could buy WoG for 1c or 4$ or even 150$... The studio's got much money from it :) I have an WoG BOX edition anyway - someone wants a photo? :P (Polish version, published by CityInteractive) |
My CDs of AO and AE work flawlessly.
|
My Abe's Exoddus disk is okay after about 8 years of use.

Can't wait for the Odd Box... this is gonna be great. Although it sounds a lot like the Orange Box idea but whatever
|
I'm hoping it's not too expensive.
|
Shouldn't be more than $40... I hope
|
You may be right. Say $20 each full price initially for MO and SW, together in a deal with AE and AO for $40 sounds logical... I hope.
|
Wow! I was thinking it'd be $80 or so. If it's $40 I can easily buy one.

The Oddbox should be £19.99. what with AO & AE already been on Steam.
