I have a fear of your mother.

Tis true, that.

I hate caterpilars, i'ts probly from when i was 3 I was eating peas and a catterpilar crawled out of the pea pod it scared me to death.
another bad expirience was when i was 5 an itchygrub crawled up my arm, I was ithchy for like 2 hours, before the itch went away.:( :( :( :( |
I have just recently made myself scared of looking in a mirror or reflective surface when it's dark in the room. It happened because I was half-asleep and needed to use the bathroom in the middle of the night. I went out and looked in the mirror in the bathroom from the other end of the landing. I ended up scaring myself because my reflection looked almost like that ghost from 'The Ring'. Now, everytime I need to go the bathroom at night, I always duck down so I can't see the mirror.
|
I know, mirrors get very freaky at night, you see things around your room and they look like people sometimes, I have this big dragon mirror thingy, luckily it's on the floor so I don't see it at night...
|
Okay, okay. When I was a little kid, it happened to me all the time. So I invented this cheesy prevention (not in the common sense) device: LIE. For example, if you're in bed at night and you see something that looks like a ghostly face in the corner of the room. First step - Locate it. Already did that. It's in the corner of the room. Next step - Identify it. Creepy as it is, walk up to it and inspect it. That's when you get to find out that you were paranoid and it's only a plastic bag. And last step - Eliminate it. Even if you know it's a bag, it still looks like something weird, so that it won't freak you out again, put it away. Done!
:D And you'll never be seeing people in your room again. And yeah, about 3 years ago when we lived in the old apartment, the closet doors had mirrors on them. And when I got into bed, I could see the entire bed and the wall behind me. So I always slid them back so that I can't see my reflection... That problem's gone now, I can sit in the dark in front of a mirror all I want and not feel the least bit bothered. There's a fun but cruel trick I play on little kids in my house who are afraid of the dark. I dare them to stay in my bathroom (darkest room in the house) for one minute. Since most of them don't want to come across as pussies, they go...little do they know that there's a skull painted on my door (by me) in glow-in-the-dark paint. Mean I know But then of course I come in and show them it's nothing to worry about, and I only do it on or around Hallowe'en :D |
Kids... What are they like? Great I'm talking like an old fogey! Back in my day there were no toilets so we had to pee in a hole!
Me and my two cousins used to play this game where all the lights were turned off and one of us had to hide, then 2 of us had to search for this *monster* and we'd go into the room, and the hider jumped on us and pretended to kill us off, it was pretty funny, I was about 10-11 back then, I was actually pretty scared... -_- |
I can't believe I have just remember another one of my phobias. I am scared of being hypnotised. Despite that, I am fascinated by it all the same. I have never been hypnotised but seeing what hypnotised people do sometimes and what they are being made to think and such, I have been so scared of the thought of it.
|
Look into my eyes look into my eyes, not around the eyes in the eyes!
Sorry, Little Britain! :p I've never experienced a hypnotization(new word!?) Are they really true? |
A hypnotist can't make you do anything you don't want to do. At the shows you see on tv, the hypnotist performs tests to find the most extroverted, ridiculous people possible, that will be prepared to make arses of themselves.

I'm scared of the dark, to death.
Strangely enough, I've come to accept the fact that I actually enjoy it, and that it is a good tool to use. Seriously, I've got a black sheet nailed up infront of the window. Offtopic, I got a blacklight for my room, yay! |
I am afraid of a 400 year old psychic japanese man called Gackt Camui.
|
This isn't a phobia, but more of a paranoia sort of thing:
Time limits freak me out and really mess with my head, since I always think that I have only seconds left :p. |
:
I don't think it's a phobia, but i have a fear of ceiling fans >.< But only when their turned on... Obviously :dodgy: |
Well, look who decided to show up...
|
I've tried to think of a fear that I have, but I guess I don't know any of my fears.
|
I guess my weird phobias would be (and I'm not kidding) touching lotion. The feel of it makes me feel like vomiting. Anything like lotion as well. I can't touch vaseline or mayo or anything like that. Obviously, I can't use lubricants for sexual purposes.
|
I may be afraid of choking on small objects.......lol. BTW if you remember me I will not be nOObish anymore.:)
|
Hmm, one thing I guess you could consider a phobia is bees or any other tiny quick stinging bug. I can't stand bees or wasps at all. Spiders I'm better with, as long as they don't crawl up my shirt.
I guess another one is zombies or any other freakish malevolent dead thing. Meh, it was just probably the spook I got from watching the new Dawn of the Dead. |

When I was young, led by the evil minds of my cousin and sister, they made me do something very evil to bees. I didn't know this harmed them, but my cousin and sister were old enough to know.
We all had water bazooka thingies and we started squirting at this bee's nest under our shed, a load came buzzing out and we sprayed them, they died. Then we ran back inside when mum told us to stop. |
I've always been frightened by little collectible dolls that young lasses collect - they're just sat there, gazing into nothingness - they seem so lifeless (and pointless, I mean, my little cousin wanted a doll that had the ability to piss). I'm also scared of the council - they keep raising taxes. :-(
I think the reason that I'm scared of clowns is that I like to see people that I look at - if a clown came up to me, I'd expect him to be wearing an apron covered in blood, and to stab me. I like to know a person's identity. Since I saw the horror film Chucky, I've slept with a knife under my pillow. For some reason, I also have a strange fear of the Tails Doll off Sonic R for the Sega Saturn. Oh, I also get scared of offending people. |
I'm actually glad I don't have any phobias, even though I should have some post traumatic disorders by the stuff that happened to me in my life but I seem to be really fine.
Buuut... the only thing I fear or the only what I fear are... muray eels!!! I don't know why and how. I love the creatures of the deep sea and read many books of them, watched docus and stuff but..murays look so dangerous to me. Their eyes and then those teeth. And they can bite!! Oh yeah and bathing in lakes because I can't see the ground. I love swimming in the ocean until I see the deep blue below me but a lake is full of plants and so green and fishes. lol It's weird. XD |
I always feel like someone is watching me *looks behind self.* I just think people are gonna watch my every move...like Alf...(xD), also like that weird movie Jim Carey was in. I'm also scared of water, I had a bad experience with it...I wouldn't like to drown, I wouldn't be able to breath and I'm worried a shark would swim and me and double the pain by eating my leg off lol. What else...um...I get spooked when I go to sleep...I always think some weird thing is gonna grab my feet at the end of the bed, and I'm afraid of dolls. I hate them. They're weird. They watch my every move (this is connected to my first fear), and their eyes follow me. Their faces are strange...aw hell, I'm starting to get really freaked out...:(
EDIT: Oh, and sometimes I get weird vibes while in a house that someone died in; for example, I see things...like once I saw this robed dude slowly walk across the room (and no one died, so it couldn't have been ol' Grim). I also seem to see freakishly drawn pale faces...maybe I just have an active imagination... |
I think half the forum now has a phobia of bikinis...
