You do understand muslim *extremists* are terrorists?

And my post was about muslim *extremists*.

Havoc 03-13-2016 01:25 PM

You said "all Muslims are extremists" and that is not what I said.

Varrok 03-13-2016 01:26 PM

Are you trolling me, lol? Read my post again, very carefully. The first one you quoted.

Havoc 03-13-2016 03:14 PM

Lol I got hung up on my own tongue in cheek comment. Kinda meant it sarcastically or something like that. I must be getting old.

Hazel-Rah 03-13-2016 10:36 PM

So, Donald Trump discusses how much ISIS hates the US and Anderson Cooper asks if that hatred is within Islam itself to which Trump responds "You're gonna have to figure that out." Meanwhile I've seen him on talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel talking about how his Islamic friends support his decision to ban Muslim immigrants. So, how can he think their creed is the problem when he has muslim friends who tolerate and support him? IDK I hope if elected he's just a do-nothing loud mouth 'cause this is troubling man, really troubling.

Havoc 03-14-2016 01:23 AM

The guy is an actor, nothing more. Like with anything remotely popular, if you just generate enough hype for it and believe it yourself then people will start to follow regardless of what you say. Which is very clearly evident since Trump literally says nothing at all.

Hazel-Rah 03-14-2016 02:08 AM

Yeah, more than likely. I always saw him as someone who doesn't really have any established values of his own seeing as how he's constantly changing his mind on topics. I agree with Nate that Ted Cruz is far worse, he openly hates gays and wants America to be a christian theocracy.

I don't hate Hilary, I'd just rather not have a president who takes money from wall street donors. I will say this: atleast she can articulate a foreign policy unlike Bernie and Trump.

Aren't you a neocon?

It's the main reason why I support Trump over Hillary at this exact moment. When a candidate just puts on a show for the campaign period you mostly have to look to their history and how they're handling the campaign, and Trump's weirdly liberal douchebaggy past will always sit well with me when you compare it to literally everything Hillary's ever said and done in the last 30 years. The ways they're handling their campaigns are pretty much the exact same except appealing to different demographs.

Nah, I used to be a libertarian because I really liked Ron Paul, strictly a fiscal conservative.

STM 03-14-2016 08:48 AM

Then you turned 16, right?

Varrok 03-14-2016 11:01 PM

Just a heads up: Trump wasn't really assassinated

Havoc 03-15-2016 01:56 AM

Aw.

Hazel-Rah 03-15-2016 05:24 AM

info wars accusing other media outlets of being scaremongers, that's fucking rich

Laser 03-15-2016 12:00 PM

I didn't realise until a week or so ago that despite everything the other republican candidates have said about Trumpington-Smyth, they will still endorse him if he becomes the representative of the Republican Party in the general election.

Havoc 03-15-2016 03:04 PM

Republicans would sell their own mother to get into a position of power.

Littleleeroy 03-16-2016 06:28 AM

Trump is love, Trump is life.
VOTE TRUMP!

Actually, I'm going to be loving the show from across the Atlantic - or with my X-Ray goggles trough the centre of the Earth - so the crazier the better.
I doubt whoever does get in will do anything too radical anyway.

Laser 03-16-2016 11:40 AM

If Trump actually gets in he won't be able to do anything just like Obama couldn't do anything. Man fuck the way that American Government is structured, sometimes.

Yeah, Trump can brag about not being in a position to be paid off by special interest groups but he would still have to deal with Congress, and I haven't seen much positive stuff from them but maybe that will change or has been, I don't know much about that.

Havoc 03-18-2016 02:13 AM

President still has more power than European Kings or Queens. I'm not entirely sure what a President can do regardless of congress, but I think using his veto whenever he wants is one of the things.

"Facebook Is Censoring A Massive Leak Of Hillary’s Emails That Could End Her Campaign"

Slog Bait 03-23-2016 11:07 AM

"End her campaign" haha yeah only if she personally decides to withdraw. She's got a lot of big money backers and no amount of slander or scandals is going to end her campaign. Only she can decide to end it.

STM 03-23-2016 11:22 AM

Fuck Shillary Cunton.

Nate 03-23-2016 06:45 PM

Let's assume it's true that Facebook intentionally blocked posts from Wikileaks. So then a news outlet quotes Wikileaks (which they will, because the media fucking love this story)... are you saying that Facebook will block that too? Will Facebook come up with a way to identify stories about this leak regardless of source and surgically block each one?

Or is it more likely that this actually is a technical problem?

Varrok 03-24-2016 12:34 AM

I don't think it's a technical issue. Not on facebook. Facebook twice tried to convince me that my clean, protected pc has malware on it and the only cure was to install the shitty malvare scan app that facebook has partnered with and use it. Wouldn't let me even use Facebook without it.

At first I thought somebody hacked FB and change the front page to some scam site, but no, it's official.

I didn't want to install their shitty app, so I switched to another OS (which couldn't possible have any malware, well, because it's Linux), and in act of spite they prevented me for giving links for like 5 days.

Also, if you think Facebook is not in any way political, think of the built-in avatar changes to support Terrorist Attacks Victims / Gay Marriage / etc. which are, in, fact, political things

Nate 03-24-2016 10:30 PM

I'm not saying that Facebook isn't political. Just that what they're accused of in this case wouldn't acheive the goal that they're supposed to be working towards.

Varrok 03-25-2016 01:51 AM

Well, most likely. But I don't see that as something that'd stop them for trying, as long as they keep the tiniest bit of credibility. I also think Wikileaks management staff have ruled out every other possibilites before they started accusing Facebook of anything.

STM 03-25-2016 03:11 AM

I figure if Trump gets elected it's probably better than Cruz. Cruz has a better façade of being a real politician. His policies and beliefs are far more disgusting and insidious even than Trump's. I figure if The Donald gets in, at least his obvious stupidity will turn congress against him from passing any laws, and he could always be impeached.

People saying he couldn't be elected are a bit silly I think, Regan got in.

Bwahahaha. Wikileaks love any press they can get from claiming to be persecuted. That's what their fanbase wants to hear!

I've been saying this for a while, but I'm starting to change my mind. Cruz is a terribly person and his policies are much more harmful than Donald's, but he'll struggle to get them through Congress. Donald's policies are, if anything, better for the country - he supports keeping the Affordable Healthcare Act, election funding reform, policies that will help the lower and middle classes over wealthy people, and he's not actively anti-gay or pro-religious. On the other hand, the rhetoric that gets spouted and the legitimacy he gives to the people that agree with them is very harmful.
