Oh my God......it's Santa!

You live in shefield too? Awesome...
On another topic related note...Slig Barracks Does Note Float As I said before hand, it is built upon up and up and up now the top floor is on flimsy stilts (undermining your statement earlier MA, it moves in the wind, supposedly) copper piping and a lot of joints. That picture you see with the "wings" well there not wings, they are simply pieces that keep the whole structure generally sturdy since an object will find it hard to stand upright at 1000 metres and will physically crush itself down at 2000 metres, so long as it is made of conventional resources - in this instance copper. |
It's not built on stilts either.
Slig Barracks can't be the only training place for Sligs either. By the way, Slig Barracks really didn't make the Sligs better at all (ironic eh?). The best Sligs I've seen so far are the ones in the fire-free zone in Abe's Oddysee.
I no its not the only place where sligs are trained and origionally the first level of slig barracks, how can you know? The top levels certainly are
I didn't catch that.
pardon? I don't understand
I guess that makes two of us.
I think Scrabtrapman was saying you cant know what the first level of the slig barracks is like, and whether its built on stilts, but the upper levels certainly are raised on the pipes
Unless one of us hunts down Lorne and asks him, we shall never truly know.
I volunteer to hunt down err err you weren't serious?

If thats true, why is the Magog Catal really effected by Abe then. He destroyed ONE Rupture Farm and 1 Brewery, Can't they just make any more of the products. Personally I think theres was only one Rupture Farm And one SoulStorm Brewery. it makes more sense. |

I always thought those were like addresses or register numbers or something, not like there's 1029 RuptureFarms and 401 Breweries.
all sounds acceptable
they do continue making the products after the factorys are shut down, Blitzpackers shoot soulstorm brew and theres a small brewery in MO I think
Abe also says "you know whats in a mudokon pop?" to munch, implying they still eventually got produced but yeah i think the numbers are just numbers and dont mean theres that many of the factories |
Yeah, there are micro breweries, but there was also a huge stockpile left over after the destruction of the main brewery. That line doesn't necessarily mean they were ever produced on a mass scale. Sounds to me like they just used the wrong grammatical mood for effect (Abe ain't the sharpest tool in the shed (cue Smash Mouth/Oddworld amv)).
Ahh i see. Do you reckon theres more then one Bonewerkz?
Personally i think there isn't. i reckon Bonewerkz was big enough to supply brew from bones from lots of different Breweries |

Farting to Jupiter...?
...I knew that. I did, I knew that. |
Slig Barracks is actually built on a rig in the middle of the ocean.
Oh, you!
All of Oddworld is really just social commentary for the effects of Pearl Harbor on the US.
You mean the special effects used for Pearl Harbour.

"They say it's the biggest meat-processing plant on Oddworld."
Huh, Abe says that. That's just what the little Mudokon workers say. |
Yeah, his opening line sounds like it implies there's more han one meat plant, but under the same brand name?
What I meant was, the Mudokons say it's the biggest, but what would they know?
Well if it's Rupture Farms 1029, it's logical to assume that there's a lot of other Rupture Farms's on Oddworld. I mean, AO, AE and MO all happen in a small part of Mudos which is only 1 continent (or land mass) on Oddworld. So there's a lot of space to fit more Rupture Farms
