Yeah, so I just saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs


It was amazing.

I recommend it to everyone. There was nothing this movie didn't do right. It will leave you overwhelmingly satisfied and happy.

I can't help but feel a slight hint of sarcasm in that post.

Last night, I watched the first of the new series of Peep Show. It was great. Jeremy was especially funny in this one.

That's what I thought after I posted it, but it was really, really good. Honestly.

I was strongly considering taking Abbey to see it, but I am completely broke. Having work done on a house is expensive. Just the painting alone is costing 700.00, and that's a really good price.

I saw the pilot of Archer, from the creators of Frisky Dingo. I was in tears at how funny it was.

Take her when you get the chance. Jordan and I were like Five year olds through the whole thing. It was just this overwhelming sense of wonderment.

Was that the one Mark impersonated his German superior by getting a Hitlertache drawn on him?

Yes. I remember laughing quite a bit at Jeremy's "Poof!" (accompanied by a hand gesture) and Mark's "Chance would be a fine thing!".

Super Hans continues to delight with his 'men with ven' speech.

Also, just seen Persepolis.

I saw Zombieland last night.

It was very good. It didn't try to be anything it wasn't, and the humor was okay. Bill Murray makes an appearance,and Woody Harrelson was great.

Here are some highlights of the crowd:
Two couples sitting ahead of me and my friend, both of them occasionally loudly kissing. We kept laughing at that. I mean, the movie had a lot of decent gore, so it was just so out of place.

The scene where two characters are hugging and some 13 year old shit behind us going "GRAB HER ASS, C'MON, GRAB HER ASS"

NOBODY EVER STOPPED TALKING

Some asshole ripped a joke from Family Guy at the start, shouting it across the theater.

Now, me and Jordan, we were MAYBE four or five rows from the entrance, so when we got up to leave, we figured it wouldn't be a struggle. Instead, some dipshit is walking AGAINST THE ONCOMING LINE OF PEOPLE to get to the back. I shoved him very hard out of my way and gave him a look.


That also reminds me...

I was in Zellers (Canadian Wal-Mart blah blah blah) on Thursday night getting some steel toed boots, and when I was in the lineup, this little turd is trying to stare me down. Not a little kid, a little turd. Probably 14 years old, wearing shorts and a bright orange t-shirt. It was freezing cold and raining outside. So he gives me this look, I think "Oh, you wanna throw down?" and stare back. He looks away. Triumphant, I also look away. Then he looks back. "Oh no you don't, motherfucker!" and I stare him down again. Punk ass.

EDIT: Oh, and there was guy wearing a Velt Trenchcoat. Maybe 15 years old. He was a laugh.

I still haven't seen Serenity all the way through.

I haven't seen the beginning.

I've seen parts of the middle.

I've seen the end.

But never the entire movie in one sitting.

Saw angels and demons on DVD. (Yes i know it's a little late)

It was a very good film but i was expecting a little more supernatural shit going on... Ah well.

Zombie Land. Really good movie, but like Kastere's experience, the crowd was awful.

Before the movie started they played some coke commercial three times in a row, and the people yelled when it didn't play it a fourth time.

Whenever Texas was mentioned everyone went god damned apeshit. "I LIVE IN TEXAS!!! DO YOU LIVE IN TEXAS!?!?!?!?" The mentions of rednecks were also greeted with claps, woos, and cheers.

Also, some guy kept repeating every god damned line. Seriously, even at the parts not humorous he would repeat the line. He even read the rules aloud whenever they went on the screen for any illiterate people in the crowd, how nice.

Micro Men. A comedy drama about the 80's computer boom and the rivals Sinclair and Acorn. Very good.

I'm really scared it will end up being shit, but I want to see it anyway.

I watched Goldeneye last night. I never knew that there actually wasn't a man with a golden eye in the movie.

Sendak has been raving about it. Plus, it's made by Spike Jonze. I really don't think that it will be bad.

I watched Serenity last night, how on earth did I miss the whole Firefly/Serenity thing first time round? :(

It wasn't a terrible show, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it good. I wouldn't go so far as to call anything made Joss Whedon good, though.

Yeah well, I thought it was fantastic.

I also like Disney, Phantom of the Opera and the Lord of the Rings movies, I'm pretty much the anti-you.

I like Phantom of the Opera just fine. But, wait.... You actually like the Lord of the Rings films? Good lord, man.

I GREW UP ON THEM, like Disney and Crash Bandicoot and 3D Sonic games.
