Ah ha, yes, that fixed it, I read about that but I thought that it was referring to the lift at the beginning of the game with the slig sleeping next to it.

Yeah, sorry that affected you. We've fixed that and it'll be sorted in the upcoming patch.

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I'm assuming the achievement "No Place Like Home" is unlocked if you find all the secret areas in the games? Well, I've done so (I think) on Hard with 299 muds, but I haven't unlocked the trophy.

Is anyone else having this issue, or is there more to the trophy?

If you have all the muds then you should have it.

I found a glitch where if you control a Slig, and order a slog to run into a mine while Abe is on screen, he'll fall over and return to a normal idle state.
You can then proceed to control both Abe and the Slig at the same time.

I have a video of it, i'll upload it soon.

Haha can't wait to see that, sounds funny to watch.

I saw a bug on a livestream earlier. He wasn't able to pull the lever at the bottom to slow down the meatsaw. Abe just kept saying "I don't know!".

I've also encountered a bug in my last few plays where whenever I start a level or walk through a door to a new area, my game automatically pauses about 5 times continuously, quite irritating.

EDIT: And whenever the game quicksaves at a checkpoint / I quicksave. Basically a quicksave problem. Quite infuriating.

I think they did say once that the Unity engine was being really difficult with the implementation of the QuikSave feature.

Well, this is confusing. JAW, can you help me out with this one? Played through the game twice now, with all the muds, and I still haven't got the "No Place Like Home" trophy.

I don't know if it's been brought up in this thread but I've encountered a bug where Elum won't come off an elevator. Regardless of how much you walk forward or tell him to follow you. I had to go back to quick save and it was fine.

I experienced a bug where if Abe dies whilst trying to go up a cargo lift, the game goes back to the checkpoint but the screen goes black. It happens in Zulag 1.

On another note.. After reading about the 2nd save slot being buggy, i tried it out for myself. The game loads perfectly, but it ends up playing at about 1fps! It gets seriously laggy and unplayable.

I'm just waiting for the next update to come out, so I can play through the game again without any crashes.

And Crashpunk I got the same glitch as you too. Except I was in Scrabania. I still haven't figured out what causes it though.

Well I've watched CrashPunks Let's Play and he was in the Scrabanian Temple at the first secret area. There are two Sligs which didn't make any kind of noise or speech when possesed. Maybe you should take a look at this. =)

That happened a lot for me. I had a whole room of silent Mudokons in one area. :confused:

Maybe. But I remember it was in a secret I think. I'll check it when I edit my Let's Play.

I also came across another bug in the secret where you get chased by 2 Slogs. The Slogs would not wake up no matter what I did. One would only wake up if I stood directly next to it, killing me instantly. After I went back and re entered the secret, the slogs started to chase.

It was actually pretty funny. I was throwing bottle caps at them for a while.

Quick Question.. I want to get the New 'n' Hasty trophy...
1) Do i have to play on Hard
2) Can i just replay chapters until the overall time reaches under 3hrs
3) If i want to get the Mudokon Pop Trophy and i don't rescue mudokons, Will that overwrite my 100% mudokons saved on that chapter?

2) Yes EDIT: but make sure you leave the boardroom 'till last, as you need to complete that level for the trophy to trigger.

EDIT: Leaderboard is up and running, but it's not displaying my best scores in the right places. For instance, even though my overall time is now at 2:52, as indicated by the menu, the leaderboard still has it as 8:11, which was my first playthrough time.

Quick reply, as we've got a full blog post going out soon.

We pushed 1.02 live in the US as soon as it was approved without waiting for the UK/EU approval (it's still in there, hopefully out today).

It fixes the first batch of crash bugs, the save profiles (yay!) and some leaderboard fixes.

However, it's 1.03 (hopefully due next week) that'll fix everything else. The guys have figured out why there's a crash at the end of the game (it's relating to Sligs, Slig locks and possession) so that's the biggy, but they've sorted Elum's falling through lifts and a few other things too.

I'm trying to be as transparent as we can be with these bug fixes, rest assured we're doing all we can (as quickly as we can) to get everything fixed.

I'll check, but chances are you'll need to re-do each level to submit them again. Crucially, you can now (once you have 1.02) have one save profile for #muds, and another for time, so you can try to beat the 299 club in the quickest time in one profile and then challenge the leaderboards for each chapter with zero muds in another.

At least, that's my expectation.

So, to speedrun the levels, I do not need to save every Mudokon? I was told on the OWI Twitter the times are ranked by the number of Mudokons then the time.

I don't know if this has been reported yet but in Scrabania I went to summon someone and Abe got stuck chanting. I tried everything to get him to stop and nothing worked. Had to resort back to a previous quick save. I tried again a few times and same thing.

It's actually caused by birds getting stuck not being able to reach Abe.

I found two more bugs which aren't exactly game breaking but I thought I would share them anyway.

The first one was in Scrabania Temple. When the Scrabs began to fight, one of them span where Abe was and then suddenly ragdolled. It was pretty hilarious.



The other one was in Free Fire Zone returns and was with the Slig that appears if you trigger the alarm, near the end where you have to deactivate the two electric fields. I triggered the alarm and hosted myself up the platform the same time the Slig fell down. The Slig then walked all the way to the end, near the first lever and froze. The AI just stopped working.



Oh and here's a video of that broken Slog AI bug I found a few days ago.

I had that slog glitch happen to me my first play through. I also had a similar glitch in Scrabania where mid-way through the level the scrabs just didn't react to me. It was a while ago but I think there might have even been two and they weren't fighting each other. They were just hanging out and didn't mind if I walked right up to them haha.

Crash, that slig in the Free Fire Zone is supposed to run into the mines by the lever. But you had to get smart and break the puzzle.

Still kinda odd he just completely freezes though.

I always seem to find different ways to complete the puzzles. Perhaps that's why I keep running into glitches. :lol:
