Well there was a Stranger statue build for OWI's office, but that's as close as it gets to actions figures.

Well will Oddword Inhabitans be on the E3? I haven't read anything about it. =/

Lorne and Stewart Gilray have both said that announcements are coming at E3. Best guess is that they relate to the Abe game.
However, they said that months ago. The way things have been going for them lately, maybe they've postponed it and not told anyone. |

Sweet. I'm glad you're paying attention at least.

What people were saying about multiplayer in the "What would you ask Lorne?" made me think a little.
Abe HD will be 2.5D, and so is Little Big Planet. LBP works quite well with 2 players so long as they don't go too far away from each other - So here's a stupid, stupid idea. What if in co-operative mode, you could play as Alf as a second player character at the same time as Abe? Maybe there could be level variants for co-operative mode which would differ from single player mode, where both players would be required to solve puzzles together. It'd have to be non-canon to the storyline, though. Alternatively they could make a separate co-operative series of levels, like Valve did for Portal 2. |
I think the separate story line co-op would work better.
If they're sticking to the original, the only characters with actual names would be Abe, Bigface, and Mullock, since all the sligs, mudokons, and glukkons didn't have any identities other than their organic roles, and no other characters were introduced. Under that logic, Alf as a character simply wouldn't fit into either the single player or Co-Op. It would have to be an anonymous mudokon, or a glukkon. Maybe some sort of versus challenge, where one plays as a Glukkon and one as Abe, and Abe has to get through the level while the Glukkon character calls sligs, slogs and bombs down, sort of like Chopper vs Chopper in GTA IV: The Lost and Damned. ♥ |
