"Hehe." Anni grinned, although she didn't really find it funny.

She rolled her eyes and went one step closer to Stivik.

"You know, you're probably the most stupid slig I've ever met. I wouldn't have expected that from a slig, hired by the Cartel... So why don't you just leave? I seriously do not know what the hell your mission is here, but well, i think that Arnie's gonna find out soon." she started babeling, and approached him a bit more.

She slowly moved her hand near her loinclothe. Evryything in her her body screamed "do it" to her, but still she was in doubt wether to try doing something or not. She wouldn't be much better than them if she suddenly started throwing injections a people.

Stivik gave her an odd look, "What on Odd are you talking about, Mud? You need to get out of your dreams before someone creeps up on you in the real world." He wasn't going to let her get the last word, he thought carefully about how to phrase this without giving anything away to Boogie. "You think I'm stupid? I'm yet to have an employer or supervisor who would agree with you on that." He moves closer to whisper to her, "Whether its someone from the Cartel or one of my victims."

Had he known that she was hiding the syringe, or if he'd had any ideas of what she was thinking, he wouldn't have let his guard down and he would certainly have stayed in a position where he could bring his gun up to shoot her. However, knowing neither of these things and having a very sliggish view of mudokon intelligence, he was putting himself in a rather dangerous position.


ooc: T-nex, if you choose to attack Stivik its ok, though he might attack Anni, keeping in mind his gun is still loaded with tranquilisers (for putting animals to sleep).

She grinned and hesitated for a short moment. Then she got the srrynge out, and without notice, she pushed it into Stivik's arm, and pressed, whatever it contained into his body.

"I know someone who would rather confirm this suspiscion." She whispered to him, kicked his mechanical legs, and the let out an "ouch!!", because it was metal-leg(O.o)

Then she tempted to get away, so she dashed towards the door, hoping thar Stivik's reaction would be slow.

OOC: Well, you decide what effect it'll have on Stivik. If it's good or bad or if it even has an effect...

OOC: Waah! I haven't posted for ages again. But, I've still got to study, so I'll only post Boogie's part for now. I'll edit this post once I'm done with my homework and stuff...

Boogie got into a more active position since Dek left the lab. He didn't listen carefully to the arguements which were going on, instead he observed the cage in which the scrab was locked in. But then he noticed something in the corner of his eye, Stivik was standing very closely to Anni.
Merely a second later she made a run for the door. Apparentely (sp?) she had forgot that Boogie was right next to it.
Boogie stepped in front of the door blocking it. Then he raised his rifle and looked at the mudokon
"Right, so where did you think you were going?"

OOC: Note: Boogie hasn't noticed that Stivik has been injected... just that you'd know;)

Anni let out a hiss, which sounded more like a desperate sob. She hasitated, then though about just ripping the gun out of his hand, then she hesitated again. She let out another sobbing sigh and gave up.
She didn't know what to say to Boogie, so she just stood there, looking at him him like some kind of idiot.

"Oh, can't you just let me go? Pretty please?" she asked.

She knew he would just say no, but it didn't matter much to her. She just looked down, waiting foir whatever would happen next.

OOC:Sorry guys i'm out...

Stivik froze for a second after Anni stabbed him with the needle, apparently out of shock. Then suddenly, seeing her talking to Boogie, he roared in anger and leapt towards her.
Stivik: "You b!tch!!!"
He raised his gun, smacked her with it as hard as he could, raised his gun to do it again and then suddenly staggered and fell to the ground, curled up and began moaning loudly.

She fell down immedietly as Stivik had hit her,because of the shock. She rubbed the area she'd been hit, and then moved her eyes on Stivik. A smile widened on her face. Not because of happiness, but she just felt amused. The smile transformed into a laughter, which sounded rather maniacly. She just rolled on the floor, laughing and couldn't hold back tears.
She knew that this was it. She wouldn't be able to squeeze herself out of this one, so she couldn't see the reason why she wouldn't spend the last few minutes of her life, before she'd probably get punished somehow, laughing. after a bit of time she stopped laughing, and looked at Stivik, she didn't know wether he just fell asleep or what had happened, but suddenly she felt a feeling of regret. She could suddenly see herself in his place, either drugged, or even close to death.
A feel of panick then stroke her. She couldn't believe it. If he was dead, she would be a... Murderer. It felt like her heart just did a back-flip, and shefelt like throwing up. Her hands started shaking.

"What have i done?" she whispered, and some tears fell down her cheek, "Oh what have i done???"

Her voice had changed into a half sob. She began shaking all over her body, and then she closed her eyes.

"This must be a dream, i couldn't possible have injected him." she said and opened her eyes, but he was still there, lying on the floor.

She stood still for a moment. Then remembered that some vykkers had antodotes against tranquilizers, so if it only was a tranquilizer, she could check that out. Her eyes scanned the whole room, and the she ran towards the shelves, throwing evrything down on the floor, in her desperation. She kept looking and looking. When half the room had become a mess, she finally found and anti-dote. She read the writing that was on it:

The scrab stared down the Big Bro Slig as it looked in it's cage. He growled at him and looked around. He had stopped when he saw the female mudokon pulling a syringe out of some place and stabbing the "Stivik". She then ran for the door and was blocked by the Big Bro.

Stivik then beat her on the grond and collapsed groaning. The slig looked around, now may be his chance. He reared back with all his strength and hurled his body at the cage wall.

OOC:It's up to you guys to decide what happens. He could just knock against it, or he could break out. I don't want to interupt the Stivik/Anni thing.

#7 Slig arrived to entry hall from the Cafeteria and went to the door leading to the FeeCo station. He opened the door and saw the docked train, Floyd and Arthur, who was placing a crate on the station's floor. He walked up to them.

#7 Slig: "Hey there. Grinder parts arrived then? Do you need any help?"

Arnie, Otto and RG-49 were walking to a platform to the upper levels. Arnie looked at RG-49.

Arnie: "What did Rick want from you, by the way?"

RG-49: "The Mudokon organic had an idea for some sort of appliance for the Cafeteria."

Otto joined the discussion.

Otto: "What sort of appliance?"

RG-49: "Well, it sounds like a food-holding mechanism. For Glukkon organics."

They arrived to the platform. They stepped on it, and RG-49 pressed a button on the wall next to it. The platform started to ascend.

Otto: "A machine which holds the food for us? You're not telling me the Mudokons don't have time for that, they are just fooling around all day!"

RG-49: "They have more important duties, mind you."

Arnie watched the metal panes covering the walls absent-mindedly as they passed by, and he turned to the others.

Arnie: "That doesn't sound too bad. And he asked for your help, I presume?"

RG-49: "Affirmative, Boss."

Stivik was curled up on the ground, moaning quietly, apparently unconcious. For a few seconds after Anni injected him for a second time, nothing happened. Then his eyes opened a little. He lay still for a few seconds, and then screamed in agony and began writhing on the floor, screaming rather rude things at the top of his lungs.
Finally he began to slow down and seemed to drift into unconsciousness again.

The fact that the huge scrab chose that moment to break open the door of its cell put the immobilised slig in a notably dangerous position.

"Oh this aint happening, this aint happening!!" Anni cried, and then looked at the scrab, who had just gotten free.

She grunted panickingly. She didn't know what to do now. She could go and find Dek and drag him back, but she didn't know what the scrab would do. Then she colapsed on the floor, and started crying aloud. She really didn't know what to do now, and she had a half-dead slig beside her. She shook her head, got up and ran away from the lab, hoping that Boogie would take care of the scrab. No kill it of course. Then she desperatly looked around for Dek. He'd probably know how to heal Stivik.

"I'll never be able to forgive myself..." she muttered.

The first place too look, was the Cafeteria. She was sure that Dek would look there, since there was usually somebody there. But she saw him on the way tho the cafeteria. She took a deep breath, and then continued to run towards him. Then she grabbed on of his hands and ran back to the labs, while crying: "Oh please come!! I injected Stivik with something, and now he's unconscious!!"

She kept sobbing and crying while she was running.

"No way!" Boogie exclamed when the cage shattered open "Yea, like I didn't see that one coming."

Boogie let Anni run past him.
"She'd better be looking for help." He hoped,
"I can't stop her now... Stivik's in check."

Boogie lined his rifle up to the scrabs head.
"Don't make a move or I'll be forced to immobilize you in an unpleasant way, weird mutant thingie." He said, slowly walking up to Stivik and dragging him back.

Jim: "Hey, look Scruben, it's not the Glukkons that i mind so much, unless they're in a bad mood or I've done something wrong, but the sligs... Alright, I'm sligo-phobic. One look at the things and I'm a nervous wreck. Childhood memories or something.

"Well... that must be véry annoying..."

The point is, anywhere that sligs aren't is fine with me. The last thing I want is the boss deciding we need a slig escort or something.

"Yeah, I can get that. I'm sorry for ye."

don't worry, we'll find a way upstairs."

"Alrightee." Scruben said as he got dragged away. Again.

Floyd smiled as #7 slig got in.
"Yeah, we can use some help. This cart has all of the neccesary grinder parts. And over there, there is a pile of crates with all kinds of living critters. Probably for food."

The red light on the wall suddenly flashed on again.
"Oh! Yea, ofcourse. I've checked the manual train breaks on the track, and they seem to work fine. Also, this light flashes on when a train leaves. Just in case you didn't know yet.

Anyway, this cart needs to go to the grinding area. But, what will happen to those critters?"

OOC: Hmm, I've got a full week without school. My prayers were finally heard...:p

The scrab stopped in from of Boogie. It roared in his face and stepped back. This would be a problem...

Sev crawled out of a grate. He was covered in blood and was breathing deeply. underneath his mask was a blank and horrified stare. He coughed and sat down on the ground. He shuddered remembering all the scrabs, all of them trying to tear off his limbs. He looked around and couldn't stop seeing them, bursting out of pipes, the cieling, and the floor. He fell down on the ground yelling, "GET THEM AWAY!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF ODD, GET THEM AWAY!!!!!

Dek was at the cafeteria door, and was just about to go in when he suddenly felt one of his arms seized by a mudokon hand.
The next thing he knew he was being dragged away with Anni yelling in his ears about injecting Stivik with a syringe and Stivik being unconscious.
Rather than stopping the mudokon and knocking some sense into her, he scuttled back as fast as he could, coming up to the doorway to find Boogie aiming a gun at the Scrab, which had somehow escaped, and Stivik unconscious amid a pile of medical equipment that seemed to have been randomly pulled down.

He turned sharply to Anni "What did you inject him with!? What was it called, what did it say, tell me!" He realised he was so agitated he had been shaking her by the shoulders, then stopped, took a deep breath and waited for her answer.

Arthur sighed and turned to #7 Slig
"Hi number guy. Yeah, we could do with a bit of help with this, cause the two of us can hardly take a cart full of grinder parts to the other side of the factory by ourselves eh."
He paused, wiped some sweat of his forehead and then guessed at the answer to Floyd's question
"I'd guess the animals go to the stockyards or grinding bays, right?"

#7 Slig: "Yeah, grinder parts to the Grinding Station, animals to Stockyards... I guess. I'll call for help, then."

He went to the nearby communication console and pressed a button.

#7 Slig: "Hey, some help is needed at the FeeCo Station. All available workers, please assist."

He pressed the button again, turning the phone off.

Rick was sitting at the counter in the Cafeteria, eating a Scrab Leg and thinking about his idea of the food-holding device. Then he heard #7 Slig's announcement.

Rick's Thoughts: "Might as well go and help... I'll clean later."

He finished his Scrab Leg on his way out from the Cafeteria.

Anni still panicking, she tried to get out some words, but instead only sobbing came out. Then she tried to relax.

"I-i-i don't know... I didn't really care,but the syringe ig still in him-..... I don't know what it was, but i tried with a sleepy-antidote, which didn't work." She said.

Then more cries and tears came out. She was trembling, with fear and self-hatred. She feæt like it wasn't worth lving anymore. Not after this.

"Oh please help him! Please!!! I can't take it." she screamed.

Sev was curled up on the ground when he heard the loudspeaker announcement. He looked around to see if the hallucinations were still there. He breathed a sigh of relief as he got up and walked towards the train. He saw a couple of mudokons and #7 standing near the train. Sev walked up to them.

Sev:"Hey guys, need help?"

Sev then winced and grabbed a scrab bite on his shoulder.

Sev's thoughts: *Ow! Man, I should've remembered that! Better wash off after this...*

The scrab growled at the "Boogie" creature and looked apst him to see the Vykker and Anni. They seemed to be talking about the "Stivik" creature and how the injected liquid was bad for him. The scrab turned to Stivik and saw him on the ground. The scrab muttered, "Poor fool." and then turned back to continue the standoff with Boogie.

Being unconscious, Stivik was totally oblivious to the impending doom he was about to face.

Meanwhile, Jim was more than aware that he was totally lost. He managed to find some very shallow iron stairs and was carefully guiding Scruben up them. He reached the top and found himself at the beginning of a long walkway that seemed, from his view, to lead high above a large machine that was apparently switched off. He stepped out of the walkway and found himself staring at a very elaborate meat-grinder. A long way below he could see large heaps of scrap metal.
Jim: "It's a good job I'm not afraid of hights as well. We're on a walkway above some huge meat grinder. It's turned off for some reason though. Looks pretty dangerous down there."

Being at a rather awkward angle and having the machanical knowledge of a half-brick, he didn't recognise the fact that the machine was broken and large portions of it were lying in heaps around the room.
What Jim did recognise was the slig and mudokon walking down below.
Jim: "Oh, Odd, there's a slig down there, lets just get going before I freeze up or something."
He hurried across the walkway, dragging Scruben along behind him. Unfortunately the walkway chose that moment to accept the fact that several of its supports had been broken when pieces of grinder had thrown themselves everywhere, and jerked sharply. With his free hand he grabbed onto the safety rail. Years of experience guiding blind mudokons around were enough to stop him letting go of Scruben's hand.

Arnie, Otto and RG-49 arrived to the upper levels. They walked to the Executive Office quietly. They went inside.

Otto: "We haven't been here much recently. We placed work aside a bit, don't you think?"

Arnie: "Yes, that's right."

Arnie looked around in the office. There were four desks in the middle, each equipped with a computer-like phone and a lamp. The large screen on the wall showed different production charts and stock information. There were some old product posters on the opposite wall.

Arnie: "I'll have a look at the CompPhone, maybe we have messages."

Otto: "You do that."

Otto turned around and went to the large screen and watched the charts. Arnie went to his desk and sat down.

RG-49: "Can I assist, Boss of Rupture Farms?"

Arnie: "No, thanks, RG. These computers have voice controll."

He turned to the computer and cleared his throat.

Arnie: "OK, now... Turn on, and check incoming messages."

The computer processed data a little, then showed the messages on the screen.

Arnie: "Let's see... It says that a load of animals have arrived today with a FeeCo train."

RG-49: "That's right, Boss."

He was looking at the small screen on his left arm, showing the FeeCo Station.

Arnie: "OK, then... And the grinder parts have arrived with this train, too."

RG-49: "Right again, Boss."

He saw the grinder parts placed near the FeeCo train.

OOC: Sorry, I haven't had much time to post, and I don't really have time to post any IC stuff right now either, but I'll try and get on here tomorrow...
But Splat, would you be able to clarify who the mudokon and slig in your post were? I thought you might be referring to Groll, but I don't know who the mudokon would be in that case (unless I've missed a post). So... yeah...

ooc: Yeah, i meant Groll, and I thought Sefon was there as well. If he isn't I'll edit my post. Sorry.

OOC: No worries, Splat, I've been posting so infrequently lately that it's really no surprise you missed wherever it was that Sefon left to help the others with the grinder parts.

IC:

Frod heard the call for workers to help with the grinder parts and saw a mudokon (Rick) get up to leave, so he decided he'd go with him, he hadn't been given a job yet, so he'd just find out a bit from that mudokon perhaps, and help out if he was heading for wherever the help was wanted.
He walked up next to Rick and started talking,
"Hey there, you one of the workers here? I'm Frod, I've just been popped here from Feeco and now I'm looking for a job."

Groll was pondering his next move when he thought he heard a voice above him. He looked up at the catwalk just in time to see it jerk sharply, and he saw a mudokon (Jim) holding another, apparently blind, (Scruben) and grabb ingonto the safety rail.
He shouted out "Hey, what're you doing up there?"

Dek turned to Anni, wh owas getting more and more distressed, and spoke reassuringly but firmly
"Anni Anni my dear mudokon, please, calm down, have a Chill Pill."
*He offers her one from one of the boxes on the floor.*
"Now, I just want you to try and persuade that Scrab to just go into that other room for the moment so that I can examine Stivik carefully. I know you have a way with critters, from what I've heard about your talking paramite, so please do that for me and everything will be OK. I might even be able to try and reduce any punishments you may suffer if you co-operate now."
With that said, he shuffled over to Stivik and briefly examined him, before turning to Boogie
"Boogie! Can you please carefully lift Stivik onto an operating bench as soon as Anni moves the Scrab?"
(ooc: Splat, I don't want to have Dek give his verdict on Stivik's condition unless you're happy with it i.e. I don't want to have him diagnose something too harmful unless you're OK with it.)

Arthur looked relieved to first hear #7 Slig give his announcement, and then be joined by a Slig, Sev was it? And a mudokon who he didn't know but remembered seeing in the cafeteria serving people.
"Right now that there's a few of us here, d'you think we should begin moving this stuff? Oh er, actually I guess you should give the orders Number 7, cause you're higher ranked an' all."
He then shuffled over to the other Slig and whispered "How'd you get them bite marks? And what's yer name, I've forgotten."

Anni took a desperate breath, and glanced at the scrab, who was probably plotting about how to get out from there. She walked over to it carefully.

"Um... m-m-mister Scrab?? Can we go in that room for a moment... This vykker is trying to help that stivik-guy..." She said stutteringly, and hoped it would follow.

Besides, if she'd talk the scrab into going to the other room, she might be able to have a little chat with it. She looked at Stivik, and a pain on her heart streamed through her. This would probably haunt her forever. And yet, she fell like somewhere inside her, she'd wish he just died. She shuddered and turned back to the scrab.

The scrab looked down at Anni. He looked at her face and could see that it was important. He looked over at Stivik, whose condition seemed to be getting worse. He knew he'd regret it, but he breathed out and followed Anni into the room.

Sev looked at Arthur and answered:

Sev:"Uh, my name's Sev. You're Arthur right? Haven't seen you around here."

Sev paused. Should he tell someone about the scrabs? They'd think he was crazy. There was enough trouble already. If he said anything about it, he'd probably get the factory shut down, and the Magog Cartel wouldn't be so pleased about that...

Sev quickly cleared his throat.

Sev:"Uh..nothing, I just fell down some old stairs. Rusty metal gets sharp after a while, ya know?"

He laughed nervously. Like hell that would work. He turned towards #7 and waited for instructions.

As long as he lives and wakes up in a reasonable amount of time its fine. If he's been injected with something random it probably won't actually be a diagnosable illness, just a rather unfortunate drug-affect.

ooc: Sure thing.

Dek breathed a sigh of relief at the scrab exiting, then scuttled over to Stvik, seeing a needle still in him. He carefuly and slowly pulled it out, while holding a cloth to it in case there was any bleeding. Fortunately there wasn't. The needle had an inscription on the side

Arthur looked quizzically at Sev.
'How can stairs make teeth shaped cuts? Eh, I believe him. this place is a dump in parts, so i wouldn't be surprised.
Arthru thought.
That was his problem ,you see. Far too trusting, even with Stivik.
He too turned and waited for #7's instructions.

Anni, who now was in the other room with the scrab alone, felt quite uncomfortable with it. But the she took a deep breathe and looked at the scrab. Once again she felt a connection to it.

"Who did this to you, and what are you doing here?? I thought i might help you if i got the chance.... But i don't think I'll get much freedom after this." She finally started saying, with a voice that sounded like it was half-choked.

She fell down, in a sitting position as she was too exhausted to stand up, and just starred at nothing. She wondered what might have happened to stivik. If it was something bad, she wouldn't be able to live withherself.

"Oh don't worry too much about it... He deserves it anyways..." a voice said inside her head.

She looked around scared, as if the voice had come from the room.

"Oh not again...." She whispered.

"Don't be sorry... You wont miss that Stivik-guy, besides, he's always in the way. And he IS from the cartel, that's for sure." the voice continued.

"Argh! Go away!" She said at the voice, and shook her head.

No voice responded, but she thought she hear a laughter.

"I'm definitely going insane..." She though and rolled her eyes.

OOC: HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!!!!! YEA!

The scrab listened to Anni's question. He thought for a moment and said:

Scrab: "Well, I was once a creature of the land, like the other seldom seen free scrabs. Rolling hills, vast plains and harsh deserts were our haven. Our lives were fine and happy, but then my brothers and sisters started to go missing. We thought it was normal, possibly a feud between two males. But then it started to become a problem. Large structures started to cover the once beautiful land we traversed, replacing them with horrible smoke spewing monstrocities which began to take its toll on the land around. We'd hear our families past the walls, and they'd be mournful howls longing for the freedom we once enjoyed.

One day I was patrolling for an Elum to eat, but I heard the howl of a young scrab over a nearby hill. I ran as fast as I could and waiting for me were a platoon of the things you call "Sligs". I was sedated and taken to the hovering structure you call "Vykkers Labs" and was experimented on. Many other creatures were there, some which didn't seem to be from this world. Later, the Vykkers transferred most of the specimens by blimp. I was on one when my medications started to get the better of me. I was instantaneously enraged, and using this might, I destroyed the blimp and managed to find my way into this facility.

That is why I am here."
