The message in the intro, in fact, could be Lornes.
Whoever's got the pre-order dvd, and good software should try and play with Lornes voice.
It rocks.

I don't think it sounds like Lorne at all (or even Lorne putting on a voice). Which is why I think Michael Bross did it, to set the mood with some creepy backwards voices.

yeah, indeed, sorry i intended Bross, but i forgot who did the boombat voice.
my head was disordered yesterday.
i'll try investigate a little more on this.

I'm not sure but yall must have noticed the voices at the movie where Munch is getting rolled away to Humpfrey. Are they backwards too, or are they plain blah blah?

Godlesswanderer 05-05-2005 03:22 PM

If someone can get the sound from that cut scene maybe someone can find out.

I think that a planted or recorded message is definately a possibility, and it jives with Lanning ultra-leftist stance. Didn't Lanning say that he wanted to an violent historical science fiction take on what would happen if the U.S. was taken over by martial law by a religious fanatic/fascist?

What they're saying, which I only realised after Alf told me, is "If you could save my life, I'd meet you by the lamppost baby"

I'd be buggered if I can work out why, though.

Xavier 05-09-2005 11:01 AM

what is that supposed to mean?

Darkgore 05-10-2005 06:05 AM

Just so you know, you missed the first part of this message.
It goes:
"Nation of fools, a nation under siege, dont trust the corporate media, the religious right is insane"

The "Nation of fools" part is the toughest to hear since the music is louder at that part. If anyone wants me to send them a copy of the full message, let me know. I dont have a site to upload it to.

Just up your volume so you can hear it.

T-nex 05-10-2005 06:24 AM

OMG! That's really really creepy O.o

Anyways, i'd like the full message...

Eeeee! I smell Citizen Siege! Er, yeh. Maybe Citizen Siege is going to be on this 'new media' creature. Hmm...

I think abe would be better to start in the "new media" storm, people are allready used to him and his is nearly an icon. On the other hand something totally fresh could be better. I can already hear some people telling things such as: "Abe gping to hollywood, another crappy film of a video game". Both have good and bad sides
