I found it. The second eye-picture OWI uploaded (https://twitter.com/OddworldInc/stat...80263819313152) seemed to have some squares with very soft colors, so I tried to increase saturation. Result is this.

(4 Times the original saturation):

Every "item" or "square" on the picture is made from 16x16 pixels.
Assuming the colors and the patterns are not important, we can create a somewhat Datamatrix-looking pattern.
I created it by placing a 16x16 pixel block onto every pattern in the picture:

There were some pixels that seem to be misplaced, so I had to delete them from the borders. In addition to that, the right and bottom border were too small for full 16x16 squares, so I had to change the picture size from 600x450 to 608x464.

The final code looks like this:

(I have not found a scanner/reader for this unfortunately. They are all giving me no results. There may also be errors in this. It's 23:56 here and I had a hard time aligning the squares...

edited it again, because I think the black bars need to be left, at the bottom and without interruptions, so I mirrored the image and "fixed"(?) it.

The eye with the flame reflection flashes up for a frame – I don’t know if it’s any clearer to anyone but here’s how it looks.

So, incase it wasn't obvious, the two images that were tweeted are different.

The first one they tweeted had weird hue blocks in it (as discussed earlier). The second one doesn't have those, only the flame. The flame is definitely added after though as you can roughly see the outline of the area layered on top for the flame by increasing the saturation on the second image.

Still no idea about anything else with those.

As for the video, I think it just flicks up at the point for the sake of the thumbnail image on YouTube.

I really think it's Necrum or the brewery burning but maybe not...

It does look like a vague shape of a factory in the background of the flame. Looks alot like the original Oddyssey's RuptureFarms factory to me, but RF never was never blown up/set aflame

We have two images with random-looking, meaningless differences, right? They might be compression artifacts. Or they could be steganography.

I've spent a few minutes looking for steganography tools that can do the comparison, but it's getting late. Throwing this out there for other people to investigate.

I tried using 3 different Steganography decoders on both of the OWI twitter images, AND all of the weird block ones that are found on Prifsichs post in the previous page.
Found nothing. Once again, I'm sure we will get the answers once we get the full face

Decided to type into answer block on SS website.
Brewery yeilded both crypted and uncrypted answers ***shiver*** (a new one for me)

This is a strange file name, the hand and chest files were respectively called handfull.jpg and chestfull.jpg.

Could the 8291 be releavant to the ARG? No luck by putting it in the dialog box, only getting generic responses.

EDIT: for some reason ABEFACE_fullres.jpg exists too
