I was referring to this:

"First of the Oddworld.com updates is on the way."

And was hopeful that one of the updates might be an announcement of some description. It probably won't be though, so don't get your hopes up.

I wouldn't be surprised if the guys over at OWI really don't have a clue about when they will have something to show to the public.

It took three years just to update the graphics on SW. Do you realize how long it'll take to make practically a whole new game?

There is nothing in either that Oddblog entry or in the Eurogamers article that says anything about updated graphics. Right now, the Steam version of SW has the same quality graphics as in the original Xbox version.

Which is possibly besides the point, as you will no doubt say "Oh, my mistake. But it's still a long time to convert the game to PC". And that would be correct, but bear in mind that JAW were not involved back then.

I'm not criticising OWI, what I meant was with an incredibly small employee count (about three?) you can't expect a game to be on the shelves anytime soon.

Although now they have joined sides with JAW how many people will be working on the game now?
