"The games have just begun..." "What about the other two fucking movies?" |
I watched Leon (The Professional for Americans) on Blu Ray. Sweet Clyde is that film good Jean Reno and Natalie Portman are phenorminal and Gary Oldman is freaking insane.
One of the best films I have ever seen...even if it is written by the guy who did The Transporter |
i loved that film. i've liked Jean Reno as an actor ever since i watched Leon, Ronin and Mission: Impossible (yes, the second MI was complete shite, but i thought the first was completely different, as in it didn't concentrate on things blowing up).
|
Premonition. I enjoyed it, I can see how it can be confusing with all the precognitive dreams. Im glad the producers didn't wimp out with a cheesey ending, I feared that they would as in "next".

Leon kicks 255 shades of ass. |
I saw Sunshine Cleaning. It's about a woman who works as a maid deciding to become a Crime scene detox worker. Really neat movie, I recommend it.
I also saw The Hangover. It was alright. Really not the titanic comedy people make it out to be. |
I have just seen Sweeny Todd. Mr Depp, is sexy to ALL women nomatter what he look like. Damn him.
|
Sweeney Todd wasn't too bad, considering it was a musical film, a genre I rarely ever watch. Helena's pretty sexy too
|
:
The only other musical I liked that I can think of off the top of my head is Little Shop of Horrors. |
I actually didn't care all that much for Sweeney Todd. And, for the record, that was quite possibly one of the least sexy roles Depp has ever been in (second only to the Mad Hatter). It seems Burton is dedicated to making Depp ugly, which I admire. John Waters said Burton has helped Depp escape his years as nothing but a pretty face on 21 Jump Street, I suppose he has done this by removing the "pretty face" element from the equation entirely.
My qualms with Sweeney Todd were numerous, but I don't really have the time to be arsed to list them all. To be concise, the music irritated me (though the lyrics were clever at the least), the casting was poor, and it was in alot of cases overwhelmingly emo. |
Okay.
Anyway, The Professional is completely fucking awesome. Like someone else mentioned, that's the flick that got me hooked on Jean Reno. I saw him in some other fucking french flick about werewolves that was equally phenomenal. As far as Tim Burton goes, I've been recommending this when ever people start going batshit over Alice in Wonderland. Sure, it doesn't have Depp, a shit ton of black and white pinstripes, spirals and Helena Bonham Carter, but it's fucking weirder than anything than Burton could have done even in his early days. |
I've seen Hated: GG Allin & The Murder Junkies
DI this is for you, I loved this movie. The only thing that makes me sad is that when I started listening to GG Allin's songs hee was yet dead :( |
Just watched my first Monty Python film: The Meaning of Life.
I didn't like it as much as the flying circus episodes i've seen. The only parts I liked were "Fighting each other," "Death" and "The Galaxy Song." |
What about the middle of the film? You must have liked the middle of the film. And the organ donor scene.
|
What about the The Crimson Permanent Insurance? And the opening song?
|
And the bit after the Mr. Creosote bit when that waiter tells you the meaning of life?
|
Mr Criosote is one of the best Python moments EVER! You have to have liked that. It's like, the law.
|
I can't believe I forgot to mention Mr Criosote, the organ doner scene was funny (+ the galaxy song). I completly forgot about the opening song (no idea why), Crimson Permenant Insurence was... Strange, I don't think I would ever think of making a short film about elderly insurance brokers sailing a building.
|
I watched Bruno last night. Really fucking awkward with the entire family around, especially the imaginary blowjob. Oh and the movie itself was pretty disappointing
|
I don't know, seemed like a decently sized penis to me.
|
Yeah, if that was actually Cohen (which, knowing him, it was), he's relatively well-endowed.

I'm tired of how arrogant 90% your posts are. |
Has anyone seen the Youtube Poop?
|
Nope. You'll have to enlighten me, I'm afraid.
You know what I watched? Do you? You repellent motherfuckers? I watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and I looooooved it. It's the perfect movie. It's unstoppably pleasing to the eye, and mothersbaugh does it have a good soundtrack. There are so many excellent little details to it. I need to experience at a heightened level of viewership, like, in some kind of sensory movie watching orb. IT WAS SO GOOD. |
:
EDIT: Also, 'Jumpin' Jehosaphat' just makes me think of this guy. http://www.internationalhero.co.uk/j/jumpin.jpg |
:
I also saw: Quantum of Solace. More like QQuantum of Solace, considering how miserable Bond is. The Adventures of Hercules 2 with Lou Ferrigno. It was a very bad late 80's adventure movie. I reccomend you never acknowledge it exists. And I watched Summer Heights High all the way through last week. That show was good stuff. |
I saw Year one.
I loved it to bits. |

I also saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Gotta say, Kastere is not far off. I was pleasantly surprised at how genuinely funny and clever some bits were. |
My goal is not to be provocative. I'm sharing my opinion. My opinion is this:
Your posts are long winded and arrogant. You seem okay slumming it with the trolls until we troll you for the aforementioned reasons, then you cry. On topic: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was pretty good. The character design/art direction was generally meh, but the animation itself was great. It reminded me of the work that Doublefine does with their games. |
I'm watching Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The biggest advert for grooming since 'The Snowman'.

Precisely Naked Gun, Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear and Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult |
Why did you change the picture AiN?
|
I fucking love Naked Gun. Have you seen the TV series that precedes it, "Police Squad!"? Alan North was better than George Kennedy as Ed.
|
I can't seem to find the iconic bubble wrap scene on Youtube. I really wanted to watch it.
|

|
I liked the music, not the film. Specifically the songs, the score was meh.
