OOC: Slaveless, It's ok if you take those character, but I want you to consider if you truely can control them all. You already have a lot of characters, and I must say, controlling 5 major and 2 minor characters was a pretty difficult job for me.

Bullet Magnet 06-13-2006 07:18 AM

The van was not often used in the corridors of Rupture Farms, yet here it was, careening along the platforms and girders like a rampaging Mug. It was quite small, essentially just a cabin and a box on wheels. The side of the van bore the Rupture Farms logo, and the Glukkon's face eyeballed the scrubs nearby. Two sligs sat in the cabin, one driving, and the other smoking a Lungbuster. The driver had a strong desire to mow down the slaves they passed, but unnecessary killings could lead to a court-martial, and that meant meeting Queen Skillya. Or more accurately, her chef.
But these sligs had a job to do. The van made a nice change from the usual tasks they were assigned to, but it would be over soon enough. As they approached the correct zulag and their destination, the van slowed, then skidded to a halt, leaving tire marks all over the metal floor. As the nearby floorwaxer cried out with dismay, the sligs opened the circular doors on the slide of the van and exited the vehicle. The whirring of their pants drowned out the noise their footpads made on the floor as the sligs strode to the rear of the vehicle.
"You got the keys?" said one, in a typical, nasally voice.
"Yeah, yeah, I got 'em." replied the other, as if his friend was implying something. It turned to look over his shoulder. "Shut up, butt-munch!" it yelled at the blue mudokon with the floorwaxer. Using grubby hands, the sligs inserted the key into the padlock and swung open the double doors of the van. Inside was a barely conscious mudokon curled in a foetal position, lying on his side and covered in bruised and dried blood.
"The guys really went mad on this one," commented the slig.
"Who cares? It's just a mudokon."
"I heard that it was the third time he had escaped. I didn't even think that was possible. Why do they even keep it alive after that?"
"It finds flaws in security. Whenever it gets out, we discover another way the slaves might escape. I say death's too good for it. You hear what happened to the sligs on duty where it got free? I'll never eat another Scrab Cake, knowing what could be in it."
The sligs grabbed the beaten mudokon from the hold, and roughly hauled him onto the deck. One gripped the scrub's head feather and held his head up. It whispered in is ear. "If I ever find you escaping again, I'll kill you myself." The slig slammed the mud's face to the floor, and they both climbed back into the van.
"Hey! Get outta my seat! You're nuts if you think I'm ever letting you drive again."
The slig van pulled away, leaving Wash the mudokon lying on the deck-plate, praying to the Odd for the pain to go away.

OOC: any time you guys wanna help my guy up, it would be much appreciated.
I don't know when I can next follow this up (exams an' all) so bear with me.

dripik 06-13-2006 10:35 AM

OOC: You have real good skills at RPing, Bullet. Is this the first time you joined a text-based RPG?

-------------------------------------

Otto looked at the fixed machinery. "At least they are up and running again." he thought as he watched a nearby grinder spinning, going down to the conveyor belt now and then.

#7 Slig stood next to him, waiting for orders, but since Otto seemed to be hypnotised by the grinder, he cleared his throat. "What shall we do now?" he asked.

"I guess we have to activate the conveyor belts to get production running again. I saw Gappiqu leaving, he must have finished the repairs up there. This means we can activate the boiler again. Will you, #7 Slig?" asked Otto.

"At once." #7 Slig waved his hand as a salute and left through the door leading to the production lines. He went along the conveyor belt, then went over a bridge to get on the other side of the belt. There, he found an elevator. He went down to the basement and, after passing through a few corridors, he found the boiler control room. He went inside.

The place was sort of eerie for #7 Slig. Not just becuase the red emergency lights due to the boiler shut-down, but of the stories he heard of boiler rooms. Whole factories could be destroyed if something is damaged in there. That was the least #7 Slig wanted to cause, so he tried to keep distance from the valves and levers. He found the main boiler valve. He went to it cautiously and turned it.

The boiler started to hum as a strange mechanical buzz came from the electronics. #7 Slig took a few steps back, dreading the thought of this thing blowing up. But then the emergency lights turned back to normal, and the humming got calmer. It seemed to be working fine. #7 Slig sighed with relief and ran out of the room.

OOC: I personally like Bullet Magnet's post, but I never the Zulags were still around. Oh well, I never read v.3, v.4, or the whole thing of v.5.

About the character business, I don't think it would hurt if I just took Kix. I don't plan to use so much. Plus, she wouldn't be a handful. Max won't be around very much, Molt will get unconsicous often, and Gappiqu isn't a man of great posts. So it wouldn't hurt me.

Oh and, I think this will end badly. Gappiqu never finished the pipes. He redid one and took a break. What were the pipes for anyway?

IC: Kix walked in some corriders for a while. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't find Javi, Dean, Jim, or Anni. Kix started to stop walking, and sat down. Exhaling, she saw someone she hadn't saw for a while. Dionysia.

Kix didn't know her well wnough to know if she was kind, but obviousily, she wasn't in a good mood. Instead, she grabbed a cloth next to her, and scrubbed some of the walls.

She suddenly felt a strange rumble at first, but it became an odd hum afterwards. Kix, of course, didn't have a clue what it might be, but she continued her scrubbing.

Seargentbig 06-14-2006 02:13 AM

(Ooc: Heh. My last post said I wasn't feeling 100%, and that was over 20 posts and two weeks ago. I'll bet you thought I'd kicked the bucket!
Or not, heh.
Bullet Magnet - it does look like good RPing, but there are a few things. First, I'm reasonably sure that most people who post for the first time here are critisized for having randoms in their posts - in this case, the sligs, scrubs and floorwaxer (Blue mudokon floorwaxer, hey?). Matter of fact, the entire post, while very well writen, seems to me to be out of context. Have you read the rules?
Heh. We've concocted a bit of a situation here, dripik. First order of business, to sort it out...)

When the doors opened, Duagen crept out of the elevator and hid behind the production conveyors. The sound of whirring echoed through the room, and peeking above the conveyor revealed a slig walking towards him. Still crouched, he scampered over to the wall opposite of the elevator and hid in the shadows in the corner. Luckily, the doors around here were not patient and closed before the slig could see them ajar.
He watched #7 Slig get into the elevator and go down.
"That, " he thought, "was very lucky timing. If I had been in the elevator a little later, that slig would have seen me when the door opened. I have to be careful." He decided to avoid the elevators then, and instead went into the corridors to find a safer place.

Nails walked up to Otto. "Uh, Boss? Anything else you want me to do? Things to fix? Places to guard? Cause, I heard that this place was back in business, and thought you could use another slig."

Having had a good sniff around in the caffeteria, and giving it a thorough "cleaning", Armpit went out into the corridors. He eventualy was halted by something interesting, in this case Kix and Dionysia. He walked up to Kix in the vague hopes of something being fed to him, but a scratch would be good too, he felt.

(Ooc: I ought to be getting the hang of this again sooner or later.)

Slaveless 06-14-2006 10:47 AM

Kix saw as the Slog walked up to her, with certain interest why it wasn't barking. It looked rather old, but he couldn't let be starved. Perhaps it wanted some food. She smiled a bit and scratched his face. She said to him, "Sorry bud, but I don't have any food. Why don't you go see your master or the cafeteria?"

Splat 06-14-2006 12:51 PM

Bullet Magnet, very good first post, just a few of the RPG rules need to be layed out. Like Slaveless said, no random characters, that can be ignored. This RPG started a long time after Abe blew the place up and it was reopened in W@RF 1 by the new boss, Arnie.
Your character won't have been here since the beginning, and beating mudokons doesn't fit in with the current story as (up until recently at least) Arnie is a nice guy and hasn't allowed the sligs to beat mudokons. We can assume the sligs dumped Wash here, but when he tried to escape from somewhere else (another Rupture Farms, it would seem) that was everything works out well and good :D

Jim was shocked. "Go out there?" From what he knew life outside was as bad as life inside. He'd been taught of terrible monsters that ate everything they met, and savage tribes of free mudokons who murdered strangers. He wasn't entirely sure how true that all was, but it scared him enough to keep him in line. That and the fear of what would follow being caught escaping wasn't attractive. "Are- Are you sure that's a good idea?"

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dionysia rushed through the factory, ignoring anyone she passed, until she reached the R+R room. By now tears were rolling down her cheeks and she hated herself for it. She demanded silently, what did it matter if Stivik was being sent off? She hated him, he'd betrayed her and could have got her and her makers executed after pretending to be her friend.
'All he cares about is money', she told herself, 'An emotionless pr!ck; if he didn't just prove that to her then nothing could!'

She didn't notice Gappiqu asleep in the room. She threw herself on a bed near the centre of the room and lay face down, crying silently.

dripik 06-15-2006 05:54 AM

OOC: The pipes are not finished yet? Well, let's see...

--------------------------------

"Uh, first of all, I'm not the Boss of this place." said Otto to Nails. "Arnie's up in his office. I'm just his assistant... and the Flak Clerk of the factory." he added, mumbling. "But it seems that this place got fixed all right. You could supervise the production lines, you know. An important post, now that we're struggling for profit."

He looked at the grinders, and then up at the pipes. Suddenly, steam started flowing from the pipes. "Hell! Those pipes are not finished at all! All the steam is going into waste!" he said angrily.

#7 Slig came into the area, running and panting. "Turned... the boiler on... Otto."

"Then you can go back there and turn it off again!" shouted Otto while jumping towards #7 Slig. "That Gappiqu slacked off, and the pipes are not repaired yet!"

#7 Slig came to a halt then turned around. "Go back... down there?" he asked while running towards the production lines, trying to avoid Otto jumping on his head. He couldn't hear his answer anymore, so he went back to the lift, descended to the basement and turned the valve off. The boiler stopped humming slowly, while the red emergency lights came back.

Splat 06-15-2006 09:38 AM

ooc: Heehee, very good. Dripik, I've got Anni waiting for Arnie in his office. I'd like to get a reply before I post as Stivik.

dripik 06-15-2006 11:15 AM

OOC: Right away, Splat.

--------------------------------------

A vein on Arnie's head throbbed again as someone knocked on the door. He went into the office entry hall, and saw that it was Anni. She told him about the place she found. "Ah, that's good. I've cancelled the spice transit, though I forgot to order the seeds." he said, and with that, he left to the office. "I'll call'em back right away." he said to Anni.

He sat down to his desk and called the Spice For Price Company again. The bespectacled Glukkon appeared again, dropping his cigarette again cause of Arnie's sudden appearance on his screen.

"I forgot to tell that we need spice seeds delivered here." said Arnie.

"You call that self-sufficiency?!" said the Glukkon, laughing. "Well, since I already deleted the contract, you can't..."

"Enough already!" shouted Arnie at the screen, and the Glukkon froze in mid-sentence. "I just want some damn seeds and that's all!"

"Sure, we'll send a pack of 'em with the evening Train. Contains three kinds of popular spice seeds." said the Glukkon, now in a more helpful-like voice.

"That should do it. Take the price off my account." said Arnie and the Glukkon disappeared from the screen. He turned back at the office door, looking at Anni, standing in the entry hall. "Handled it. It should arrive in the evening." he said while looking at the clock on the wall. "It's late, I think I should turn in now, this day was waaay too exhausting. Tell the others to have some shut-eye, will you?" he said, going out to Anni into the entry hall.

--------------------------------------

OOC: Does this Glukkon count as a random character? I can make his profile, if it's necessary.

Slaveless 06-15-2006 12:12 PM

Bonty looked at Jim a little sadly. It didn't seem like that Jim was wanting to be free so badly. Hopefully his next sentence would change his mind.

He exhaled a little heavily, then said, "I would rather die in outside, than live in this prison. We have no lives according to Magog Cartel. So I am going to leave and come back to get you. This is your last chance to come with me." He looked into Jim's eyes, with the expression that meant that he may never see him again.
-=-=-=-=-==

Gappiqu breathing heavily. There was a reason why he had been breathing so hard. First of all, his dream was horrifing, for it included his old friend, Furz. Also, ever since his accident, his mask was made to shock him awake, if he didn't turn off his mask. And he didn't recall doing that.

Once he got up, he said to himself, "Well, back to the grinders." But as he got out, he heard crying. Very quiet crying. He looked around the place and saw Dionysia. Crying. He couldn't believe his eyes. She of all people crying. Something must have happened over the time he was asleep.

He went over to Dionysia and quietly said, "Dionysia? Are you okay?"

Splat 06-15-2006 12:20 PM

ooc: I think it's fine, only really random characters if they're in Rupture Farms. And as he's unlikely to appear again, i wouldn't worry.
Cheers for that Dripik :D

Stivik arrived outside Arnie's office just as the boss of Rupture Farms stepped out to join Anni. He growled, all he needed was that little girl mocking him as he walked out.
"Arnie! Thought you should know, I'm leaving. Got a better job somewhere else so I'll be taking the next train outa here."
Anni looked shocked and then grinned.
Stivik went on. "I'd watch yourself if I were you. You keep letting merderous muds run around this place and things'll come up bad for you. Oh, and watch out for Dionysia or she'll have you waiting on you hand and foot by the end of the week. Ciao."

Stivik turned and left for the station. Anni hesitated and then said quickly, "I'll go down to the station and wait for the spices!" And ran off after him.

She caught up with him and danced in front of him, grinning. "Looks like I won Stivik! Never got Somi did you? Never got Arnie in trouble!"

Stivik glared. "Oh, I got Arnie in trouble. You'll work that out in a few days."
Ani just grinned at him. "Haha, like you can do anything when you've gone."

Stivik arrived at the train station to find what was quite obviously a Cartel train (if a rather old one) waiting for him. Pausing for a second, he swung his gun forward, hitting Anni in the side of the head and knocking her over and out of the way. "You've no idea how good that felt. You'll get what you deserve Anni; I'll make sure of that personally."

It hurt where he'd hit her, but knowing he was leaving put her in a good enough mood to ignore it. She laughed again. "Whatever. What are you going to do?" She leapt to her feet and danced out of his way before he could hit her again.
He growled again, made a rude gesture in her direction and boarded the train. A few seconds later it pulled away from the station, taking Stivk away from Rupture Farms and leaving Anni grinning in its wake, wondering how things could ever get better than they were now.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Jim was tempted to follow, but torn between fear of sligs and fear of the world out there. Bonty was all for rushing off without thought, but he wanted to slow down and think his way through this. "But- but- what are you going to do if you get out? Just wander around and hope you find somewhere you can hide before you get eaten? Look, it's getting dark now, that's the time when things are gonna be hunting and stuff isn't it? Surely we can wait till morning so we can think this through? C-Carrot isn't going anywhere. Mosaic Lines won't disappear if you wait until it's light will it?"

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dionysia stirred suddenly as he spoke. Anger flared up in her for a second as she quickly wiped her face on the bed and spun round to look up. When she saw Gappiqu she got herself under control again. Breathing hard, she stated, "I didn't know ayone else was here... No, no, nothing... I'm fine. Fine." She hated herself all the more now. Not only was she getting upset over Stivik leaving (she should be jumping for joy, she told herself) but now she looked stupid in front of Gappiqu. "Fine..." Unconsciously she fingered the scar on her arm. "How long have you been in here?"

Gretin 06-16-2006 12:48 AM

OOC: Hmmmm.... I'd like to get more involved in this RPG again, but given my current lack of ideas (and often a lack of time), I haven't really been getting around to it much lately. Perhaps soon my characters may make an explosive (kidding! :p) return to Rupture Farms, but not just yet. Also the fact that my internet has been crapping out for the last five days hasn't helped anything...

Seargentbig 06-16-2006 01:29 AM

(Ooc: You're asking us if random caracters are ok? Dripik, as much as this RPG is anyone's, it's yours to do with what you wish. Other than that, though, I'd agree with what Splat says.)

Armpit enjoyed the scratch, and made a satisfied sounding growl. Feeling content, he decided that it would be good to lie down and have a snooze, but first wanted to seek out Nails again. He resolved to head back the way he came, towards the grinders.

---------------------------

"Yes, sir, Mr. Flak sir!" Nails said to Otto, who felt that all Glukkons were in some way his boss. Some were just bossier than others. "I'll just head there now."
He headed for the doorway in the hopes that he'd beat Otto's order to help with the pipes. Those kinds of burns could hurt.

---------------------------

Duagen found a set of stairs leading from the ground floor to the first floor. When he got to the top, he heard voices around the corner. A peek around showed a glukkon, a slig and a mudokon. Categorising this into his "for later observation" file in his head, he snuck (sneaked?) past, towards the packaging section and wormed his way around the conference room, getting past the elevator not long before Stivik and Anni came around to the station. Continuing this way didn't show any good places to hide. As Duagen got near the R&R room, he heard voices inside. He positioned himself in such a way so that he could listen in but still disappear through this staircase if anyone came within view, hopefully before they could spot him.

dripik 06-16-2006 06:02 AM

OOC: You've got a point, but I respect the opinion of other people. It was the least that I asked Splat about it.

Return as soon as you can, Gretin!

----------------------------------

Arnie left the office entry hall to the corridor, meeting with RG-49. "That's all for today. You can go now, and... uh... robots don't usually sleep, do they?" he asked, uncertainly.

"Never, as a matter of fact. My kind can put itself in stand-by mode, which is practically like sleeping, but awareness is higher than in the case of organics." said RG-49 simply.

"Uh... right." said Arnie.

"It means that, while my power cells remain at their current level, my environmental sensors are working at a normal efficiency." said RG-49, while looking at Arnie, and continued. "Organic cells are more efficient than mechanic power cells in this regard. They can recharge themselves, while mechanic ones need a proper recharger unit." he said with a slightly disapproving tone in his voice.

"I'm no doctor, but I see your point... partly. Dek would discuss this further, I guess. Well, I'm going now." said Arnie, and went inside the entry hall, turned left and entered the Executive R+R. He looked at his bed, but he didn't lie down. "A cigar would do me good now." He sat down on a chair next to the wall, took a cigar from the table with his mouth and held it to the lighter.

----------------------------------

Rick finished cleaning the room and threw the garbage into a sack he found under the table. He looked around the room, now barely recognisible. It was definately cleaner than its earlier state and cartridges and cards were piled up on the table. He sat down on one of the chairs and started playing with the cards, trying to figure out a game with them.

----------------------------------

#7 Slig ran back to the Grinding Station across the Production Lines. He went to Otto and checked the ceiling, wich was now free from flowing steam. Otto looked at #7 Slig. "Good thing you didn't go wandering around, or you'd be in trouble."

"Me? Tell me, who was the one who told me to activate the boiler, huh?" asked #7 Slig boldly.

Otto mumbled something under his breath angrily and looked away. #7 Slig looked pleased with himself.

Slaveless 06-17-2006 03:09 AM

Gappiqu looked into Dionysia and said, "I have been here for 5 minutes so far, but I see it's time to go back to work." "But it's forever when I'm with you." thought Gappiqu when looked deeper into her eyes.

He looked around and said again, "We are the only ones here, but some people are going to come here. But I'm glad you are okay." He stoodup and walked to the door. Opening the handle, Gappiqu exited the R+R. He was going to continue, until he felt something wrong. Something like that there was unidentified breathing.

Since Gappiqu's sense of feel was gone for the most part, his other senses grew. And his hearing had been adjusted to hear the slightest breath take. He walked over to shadows near the staircase and looked around. Finally he saw some sort of Mudokon. And it certainly didn't look like that he was a slave. He said nervousily, as he never encountered a native before, "Are-are you supp-pp-ose to bbbbe here?"
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Bojnty sighed. Perhaps another day at Rupture Farms wouldn't be so bad. He exclaimed, "Okay, I won't yet. But let's consider escaping tomorrow." Bonty slowly got to the nearest cafeteria exit, but then asked, "What should we do now? Any work?"
-=-=-=-=-=-=

Kix stopped smiling when that Slog ran off somewhere. Now she was alone. And as she saw, the blood stain was gone. She got up and decided to walk around the place.

Walking through random corriders, she decided to check out the cafeteria. As she entered the cafeteria, there was something odd about it. There was a door that seemed to enter to place she didn't know about. She was too curious not to go into it, so hse did. Once Kix got in, she saw groups of tables, cartridges, and several other tools which seemed to be used by Sligs. The place a little cleaner than she had intended it to be, but that was what it made it perfect. She saw Rick and said, "Whoa, this place is amazing, did you clean this place up?"

Bullet Magnet 06-17-2006 12:48 PM

OOC: Okay, thanks for the feedback guys. I intended to write here the way I write my stories, and as Wash spent his debut barely conscious, I needed some NPCs to get him in and to flesh out the post. Oh well. You live and learn, and in between you get to look like an idiot. As for his past, Rupture Farms is a big places ("the largest meat-packing plant on Oddworld) and I doubt that upper management would make such embarrassments common knowledge. -Wait- this is Rupture Resurrected? I thought we were operating under the same cruel taskmaster force, dammit! They're still all miserable slaves, though, right? Only I have… plans… for my character. Okay, I'll go with Splat's explanation, and work it all out. Second attempt

IC: Wash gingerly rose to all fours and coughed up blood onto the dirty steel floor. Though one eye was swollen, the other could see perfectly well, as he eyed the shiftless workers around him who refused to come to his aid. But then he realised that he did not recognise the zulag- or anything else. Was this still Rupture Farms Docklands Division? Those Gorram [OOC: curse derived from God-Damn-BM] sligs had dumped him in some other Magog hellhole, just to be rid of him? The irony stung more than his bruises- he'd finally got out of the RFDD, just to be dropped back into this other place, where he had no understanding of its layout.

He cursed the sligs in a tongue from off continent. "Elum Sain hat shing tu!" Rising to his feet, he hobbled over to the wall, so he could take the weight of his knee. I ain't never getting outta this place anytime soon, he thought. I'm so totally humped.

The regular sound of the meat grinders pounded away, Wash felt like he was the meat, as each time the mechanics made his head throb. He called over to the nearest person.
"Hey! Hey du-" Wash's body was suddenly wrought with coughing spasms. "Hey dude! Were the hell am I?"

OOC: Okay, is anyone near the meat grinders? Yo!

Munch's Master 06-18-2006 01:50 AM

OOC: Dammit, T-Nex has left. Real pity T, I can understand why you're leaving (If you're still around here to read this that is), but that doesn't mean I have to like the fact you're going.:( And Stivik's gone too. This RPG has really been shaken up lately. And I've not been posting for 2 reasons-1) Exams, and 2) my computer got a virus and couldn't turn on. And BM< they aren't miserable slaves anymore, they're moderately happy to treacherous employees. Yes, this is very little like the old RuptureFarms.
IC:
Dek nodded as he listened to Slap's suggestion. "Good that you found a vent, go and open it quickly, to try and let some of the gas get out. as for actualyl setting up the backup ventilation, we'd probably need a slig, their masks can help filter the knock out gas's chemicals so the gas wouldn't affect them. I suggest Arthur."
Arthur himself was standing further up the corridor, not sure what to do and just hoping nothing else goes wrong. Of course, that would be when the distant sirens would start up. He rushed over to Dek and Slap
"Uh Dek, I think the Lab's not our only problem. There's sirens comin' from somewhere else in the factory. Sounds like way back at the station, or the grinders, dunno fer sure. So, what now?"
"Now, you go and start the emergency ventilation for the labs. Slap, can you fill him in, I need to open the vent shutters first."

Seargentbig 06-19-2006 12:19 AM

Duagen shrunk further back into the shadows when Gappiqu came out of the room, and felt his blood run cold when the slig hesitated. He slowly eased his way into a fight or flight stance while the slig headed towards him and hoped that it wouldn't see him. When he heard Gappiqu's words, though, he hesitated in doing either. He had thought that sligs would faster kill a native than talk to him, and the fact that the slig sounded scared knocked him even more.

He eyed the slig for a moment. He didn't want to start a fight with it, because that would draw too much attention, and the slig might become hostile and injure him. Who knew? He couldn't come up with an answer that would explain why he wasn't in uniform and wearing body paint, either.

He resolved to go for the next option. He darted up the stairs in an effort to get away, in the hopes that the slig would think it was something else, or think that there wouldn't be a native mudokon in the factory anyway.

When he got to the top of the stairs he turned into the nearby security office and hid crouching behing the door.

Bullet Magnet 06-19-2006 12:54 AM

"This is the original Rupture Farms, little guy," said a tall mudokon. He had bloodshot eyes, and towered over all the other scrubs. "Rupture Farms 1024, reopened for business." He then noticed the mud's sorry state. "Odds. Are you alright?"
Wash was breathing heavily, that call had not done him anygood. "Not really. I've just been dumped here by some sligs. I used to work in another Rupture, the Docklands Division on the coast? Rough place." He coughed again. "Beat me up pretty bad."
"What they do that for?"
"Any excuse, mud. I keep on trying to escape, an' they don't like it."
Linc looked at his feet, embarrassed. To date, he'd not nearly suffered as much as Wash his entire life. He scrathed his ass for a moment.
"I'm Linc," said the tall mudokon, holding out his hand. Realising that he'd just scratched with that arm, he offered his left hand instead. Wash took it.
"I'm Wash," replied the mud, pleased to have found a friend. Linc's eyes sparkled mischieviously.
"Hehe heh. Wash the mudokon. Are you dirty or what?"
"Ha ha. My sides are splitting," drawled Wash sarcastically. "I've never heard that one before. No seriously, you should do stand up or something. I hear the slig barracks are just crying out for good entertainment..."

Seargentbig 06-19-2006 05:08 AM

All ooc: Heh. "Wash"? I did wonder, but that sig proves it.
Anyway... I don't want to make you feel bad, BM, because you have excellent writing skills and it would be a shame if you left, but there are some things to keep in mind. 1st, characters can't appear from nowhere. Linc has to have come from somewhere, and they can't have simply "been there since before the RPG began". They need a proper enterance. For a little help, I would guide you to "The Splat"'s map here.
Also, some skim reading of the previous WARF threads couldn't hurt (unless you tried them all at once - it must number in the tens of thousands of words now.), and some backstory: Rupturefarms was taken out of commision(?) many years(months?) ago, and was only recently started up again. Any former employees would have left, one way or the other. All the employees there now are owned by a player of the RPG, so there aren't any randoms. Like I said before, all of them need a suitible enterance. For Wash, the idea you have got, that he was fobbed off to this RF seems good.
Sorry if my post seems shaky and bad, it's past my bedtime. Hopefully, this has helped you.

Bullet Magnet 06-19-2006 05:43 AM

OOC: Okay, I'll fix this one as well. This RPGing stuff is harder than I thought. Still, I'm no stranger to looking like a moronic prat, so I'll just claw my way back out of this learning curve.

IC: Wash felt alot better after sleep in Linc's bunk, his breathing had improved and his limp was barely noticable. He didn't have a bunk of his own. It occured to him that he was not an official employee.
Linc appeared at the door of the dorm. He had to duck to get in, and a faint bruise was visible on his forehead from doors he had missed.
No one else was in this dorm currently, so he sat down on the bed next to Wash's.
"No one has noticed you yet, so your gonna have a sweet ride before you are put to work," said Linc. "I'm due back at work in five, so I can't stay."
Wash rubbed his eyes. "How long have you been here?"
Linc's eyes rolled up as he recalled his arrival. "A few days, perhaps a couple of weeks. I keep my head down, y'know? Well, as much as I can. 'Pull this lever, pull that lever', I don't get any trouble. They just moved me up here from exports, said my height intimidated the buyers. I used to work in one of the Vykker laboratories. It was in a submarine, and I simple scrubbed decks. Then the Vykkers put me on a routine of experimental growth hormones. I was unaware of it, we all were." Sadness flickered over his face. "I was lucky, my hormones were mild. The others... well, they didn't look much like mudokons afterwards. I later picked up an infection in my eye, and the drops they gave me weren't exactly helpful. They were supposed to be condensed into migraine supositories, not heal opthalmitus. Now look."
Wash looked. He didn't like to bring up Linc's red eye, but it was always staring at him. He sat up and swung his legs out of bed. "How do they treat us here?"
"Well, it could be worse. But then, you'd know all about that. I'm gonna be late, I'll see you later."

Wash wondered how long it would be until upper management did realise there was one too many workers.

OOC: how often do characters interact with someone elses characters here? Everyone is busy doing something else right now. Who's in upper management? There's an extra scrub down here!

Slaveless 06-19-2006 04:39 PM

Gappiqu breathed out in almost relief. He thought that the native was going to hurt him. But now, a native was loose in the factory, and he had to stop him.

Carefully, Gappiqu flicked out his pistol that he had used to throw the pully piece. Getting a grenade from one of his many pockets, he slipped it on the slingshot piece and ran up stairs, after the native.

After he ran up, he didn't know where the native had gone. Perhaps he went to the left into a corrider, into the Armory, or into that security room. He could be in either one of them. There needed to be a way where he could find the native at a moment's notice and not let him escape. Something that would scare the jeepies out of him.

Gappiqu got a great idea! He decided to pull out something from his pocket. It was a Sound Waver, another invention. It was something that explodes and produces an ear-splitting noise. However, besides the ear infection of such noise, it literally isn't like a bomb. It can't possibily make any death happen, but it is made to destory mines for yards. Gappiqu always keeps four, in case an emergecy is needed and a mine is in the way.

He decided that the native never went into the corrider, since he would of heard something. Thank oddness for lack of touch!

So instead, Gappiqu grabbed two Sound Wavers and put one on the Armory doorway, and another in the security doorway. Next, he layed down and stretched his two arms to reach the two. After, he pressed both bottons and they started to tick. He jumped up, plugged his two ear holes, and stood next to a far away wall in the corrider. At last, they both exploded and his ear holes felt like dying.

Biting his tounge, he tried to make the pain go away. But it was no use. He would need to get them checked, for the ear holes were sensative to this noise. He thought he heard something else, but he ignored it and pulled out his gun strugglingly. He knew to try to talk to this Mudokon, whether he liked it or not.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Slap bowed his head and typed, "Will do sir." After, he looked at Arthur. As he typed, he tried to look into Arthur's eyes, which proved to be difficult, for he was so much taller than Arthur. He typed, "Sir, in the event of the gas break, we need to activate the back up ventilation system up front. Seeing how a Slig's mask filters the air for the host, we need you the climb up into that vent. If you need any help, tell us." He pointed to the vent that he was talking about.

Giving Arthur several moments to hear this all, he went to Dek and typed, "Sir, may I assist in this accident, by making sure all paticents' organs and body are functioning well?"

Seargentbig 06-19-2006 11:50 PM

(Ooc: So, how loud are these Sound Wavers? Because if they're really loud, they'd alert other people in the factory, yes?)
Duagen heard Gappiqu in the enterance, and stayed as silent as possible. There was the clicking of the slig's pants on the ground, then something else on the ground, twice, heavier than slig footfalls. Then a click. Then the sound a slig would make if trying to get away from a place ASAP. Then the ticking.
He had about enough time to back away from the door and see the thing was a bomb. He jumped backwards.
When he came to a few moments later, his vision was bluured and wavering, and he felt confused and disjointed. He staggered to his feet (and kept on staggering in place), started charging his spoocebow, and looked at the hideously bright doorway.

My final post =(

OCC: Well guys its time I make my final post in Oddworld Forums, I wont be able to come on Oddworld forums anymore for awhile. Mabye when Oddworld starts up again I will return but my re-re-arrival is highly doughtful, so I'll finish my story arc and say goodbye.

OC:

Johnson: ARNIE GOD DAM YOU!!!!

Johnson started running back towards the Boardroom and noticed that there was a vent that led into the Boardroom. He hoped in and leaped to the centre. Tucker looked down.

Tucker: JOHNSON!
Johnson: TUcker get down here!
Tucker: No way Im escaping. I've had enough, whatever you do with Carl is your decision but Im getting out of Rupture Farms, mabye start a new life outside of Mudos.
Johnson: So be it man, seeya in another life brutha...
Tucker: You to...

Tucker climbed up and his wereabouts from that point on were a mystery. Johnson looked down the long shaft...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Carl got up from the floor and looked around, he seemed to be all better again due to his semi-inmortality, he just started walking right towards the Boardroom. He noticed the open vent that Johnson had crawled through, and Carl went through, to blow up the factory. He came out on one of those platforms the glukkons used to stand on.

Carl: You......
Johnson: CARL!!!!!

Carl jumped over to the middle and stared Johnson in the eye...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Eko got back up off the floor and started choking Locke.

Eko: I'm doing this, no matter what you say!

Eko smashed Locke over the head, killing him instantly. He than walked over to the computer and typed in 6 numbers that were writen on the wall; 4 8 15 16 23 and 42. He than hit execute, and more Blast Doors came down in the Boardroom, seeling off the vents and the roof. Johnson looked at Carl, and Carl did the same, as a giant light blinded the 2. Both of them screamed as they were evaperated into nothing by the mysterious light. And as Eko realised what he did The bright light evaperated him and the carcus of Locke as well...The Blast Doors then came up as the light faded away...

OOC: Well there is my final post for Oddworld forums, I hope i see you guys again.......sometime.

I'll seeyas in another life....

Splat 06-20-2006 01:19 PM

ooc: Getting better Bullet Magnet, I'll just say that this Rupture Farms has one big dorm room where all the employees (sligs and mudokons) sleep. (The boss has a separate dorm).
Also, our boss is the kind of guy who you can walk up to and ask for a job and he'll say yes. Not that wash knows that :fuzwink:

A train pulled into the station and Anni stood up expectantly. A grouchy slig stepped out, saw ehr and looked around as if he hadn't. Deciding eventually that she was the only one there, he finally accepted her presence and spoke to her. "You guys order some plant seeds?"
Anni nodded and grinned. "Yep. We're becoming self sufficent for spices!"
"Sure, whatever." He grabbed a small cardboard box and tossed it at her. She caught it clumsily. "Right, the money will be taken from the upture Farms account." He pulled out a clipboard and glanced at her again. "You sure there's no one else around? No sligs?"
"Nope. Arnie gave me the job to collect the stuff." SHe grinned at him in a friendly way.
"Fine, forget it." He tossed the clipboard back into the train, stepped inside and it pulled away. Anni took the box and ran down towards the stockyards entrance.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Jim shrugged. "I doubt it. It was about this time that they let us stop for the day, yesterday. If we head up towards the R+R room I bet the boss will announce the end of the work shift before we get there." He was relieved Bonty had given up on his idea for escape and hoped he wouldn't press it in the morning. He didn't know what he'd do if he did.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dionysia sat on the side of the bed in silence for a few minutes after Gappiqu had left. Eventually she stood up and stepped out. She jerked to a halt when she suddenly heard an ear-splitting noise from nearby. Clapping her hands over her ears she headed in its direction until she saw Gappiqu down a corridor. He had is gun out and was pointing it down the corridor in her direction. "WHAT THE ODD IS GOING ON?" At that point she spotted a figure stumbling about through the open door of the security office. She gestured to the door with her elbow and looked, puzzled, towards Gappiqu.

ooc: Bullet Magnet, if you want to get involved with other characters, take the first step and walk to where others are posting. Just try and avoid butting into a situation if the people involved are interacting closely between each other. I'll have to put some of this in the Info and Advice thread.

Slaveless 06-20-2006 04:08 PM

OOC: I felt like that Chirpy7's post was a little too descrutive. But oh well, he isn't here anymore.

Also, Seargentbig, the sound was loud enough to blow up a mine.

IC: Gappiqu saw Dionysia yelling at him, but it came to him as a whisper. The sound was so loud for him, that it was still echoing in his ear. But never less, he yelled back, "THERE'S A NATIVE MUDOKON IN HERE!!! HE MIGHT HARM US ALL!!" He couldn't hear himself very well either, but it was surely was louder than Dionysia's.

He saw the native stumble out of the security room, so he ran over to him. Still pointing his gun towards the native he yelled, "I'M JUST HER' TO TALK TO YA, NOT TO HURT YA!!!! WHY ARE YOU HERE?! IT'S A BIT UNREASONBLE TO COME HERE TO DESTORY US ALL!! WE'RE DOING FINE!" Gappiqu knew this wasn't true, but he hadn't seen a beating all day, besides the kick he gave to Dionysia and Molt's cruelness.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Bonty sighed and walked on. He was quite tried, but he wanted to do something. He was in a Feeco Depot train all day. Why rest now? But he knew it was no time to work, so he walked into the corrider more. At last, he got to some stairs and yelled to Jim, "You comin' or not? We have a big day tomorrow!" He wasn't going to let the escape plan go so easily.

The Red Muse 06-21-2006 02:08 AM

A small, creased letter softly floats down to the factory railstation floor. There is no receiver or sender name written on it, only the words "Rupture Farms" are visible in crude letters.

Upon openening the letter, you notice how the handwriting has changed dramatically. The person who wrote the words on the envelope, cannot be the same person who wrote the letter itself. You start reading the carefully written letter;

Dear 'Farmers',
I wrote this letter as an apology, both for myself and my low-witted friend here..
You notice there an ink spot here, as if someone had given the author a push. ... for our more-than-unjustified departure. We thought we could use a vacation, you know, to travel and see the world. I know we should've atleast said goodbye, or something, but hey, once you feel the burning passion of freedom, there is nothing that could stop you.

So, how are things over there? I hope no one has gotten killed, or anything. I've had my own share of problems with ol' Jammer here. He has got the patience of a scrab... One wrong look at him and you got yourself a fist in the face. Trust me, I know. Otherwise, we both are doing great and actually, we were thinking of heading back that way. Can't make any promises though, there still is a lot of lands to explore, ye?

Anyway, I wish you all well. Take care and remember to give the scrab meat in the cafeteria a good poke before you eat it. I don't know why, but Jammer told me to add it here anyhow.

Yours,
-Red and
Jammer

P.S. This is just amazing, they actually sell the old type of slig headgear here! I finally got --hey..! Where is "here" anyway?

The words trail off, ending the letter.

[EDIT; Bloody typical of ol' Red... Wrong topic, ftw :p]
*pokes the moderator dude*

Bullet Magnet 06-21-2006 02:26 AM

Wash leaped out of bed and crashed to the floor. The sudden movement had made his wounds all hurt again, but that wasn't the issue. His hearing had all but gone, the last thing he remembered was an ear-splitting BOOM that took all the sounds away.
"Ching chong doh! What was that?" but his voice was silent. He staggered to the edge of the dorm, tripping over an abandoned pair of slig pants. He was vaguely aware of muffled sounds now, mostly of alarm. Confused and bewildered, he drifted along a metal platform above a meat prep line and scratched his ears, willing his hearing to return.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Linc was sending the meat saws into the carcasses on the belt when it happened. The shockwave knocked him off his feet and off the platform. The lever was pulled at an unrecommended angle, and the saw, on the edge of a large robotic arm, decimated the carcass, knocked two more off the line and came spinning towards the control platform. The lever, wedged in position, did not automatically spring back to neutral, so the saw continued towards the platform.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Wash's vision was unfocused, but when he leaned over the barrier to be sick, he saw a meat saw appendage advancing upon the level below. In it's path was what appeared to be a mudokon worker, clinging to the edge for dear life. Rubbing his eyes, the mudokon was de-blurred. It was Linc!
Wash looked around for something to help, panicking. His head was now giving him grief, and he couldn't concentrate. On the wall was a power outlet, and several cables emerging. Knowing how suicidal his next move would be, he tugged one of them out. The lights shut off. Ignoring this, he grasped the cable in both hands, keeping clear of the sparking end, and leaped over the barrier.
As he fell he swung on the cable, which then broke and he fell anyway. Wash hit the deck hard and started coughing up blood again. He rose and pulled on the lever with all his strength, but it would not budge, and the saw kept coming. In frustration he kicked it. The whirring of the blade increased on pitch and it came towards Linc even faster.
"Crap! sain hat shing..."
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Linc was losing his grip on the ledge. He now had two choices: fall to his grisly death, or stay here and then fall to his grisly death-one piece at a time. He closed his eyes and chose the former. As he relaxed his arm, another one flew over the edge and grasped his own. Wash! But the injured scrub did not have the strength to pull such a large mud up. Linc desperately scrambled at the smooth metal to avoid the spinning blades of death, and finally got a leg up on top. As Wash heaved his friend onto horizontal ground, the blades caught a glancing blow across Linc's torso, before plunging into the platform itself. Wash dragged the bleeding Linc away from the sparked and shrapnel to inspect the tall mud's wound. Linc stared up with bloodshot eyes and realised for the first time that he was almost entirely deaf. He laughed at this unexpected piece of information, before passing out completely.

Seargentbig 06-21-2006 03:30 AM

Duagen watched as Gappiqu came into the room and pointed his gun at him.
The slig was saying something, he could tell by the tentacles, but other than the sound you got when tapping a pair of tweezers, he'd be blessed if he could hear anything.
He stared into the visor of the slig. With the gun pointed at him and the slig's aggressive stance, he could tell the thing wasn't going to be understanding towards him or afraid of him anymore. It looked like Gappiqu thought he had the upper hand now.
Well. In his mildly concussed and confused state of mind, from standing too close to the Sound Waver when it went off and jumping backward into a wall, he knew exactly how to take care of that.
Almost faster than the eye could follow, Duagen snapped his own spoocebow up to aim directly at the steadily clearing slig.

Splat 06-21-2006 08:55 AM

ooc: Destructive it was, but lets ignore it now he's made his grand exit.

Jim nodded and followed after Bonty as they headed up the stairs (Slaveless, you can assume he follows if you want to keep things moving.)

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Anni came outside to the area she had chosen for her garden. She put the box down and spun around, admiring the beauty of the place in the evening light. She turned back to the box and looked at the packets of seeds inside. Smiling, she opened a couple and began spreading them around. 'Hmm, I'm gonna need so water.' She headed back to the factory doors.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dionysia yelled at Gappiqu, "WHAT'S THAT BL00DY NOISE? CAN'T YOU TURN IT OFF OR SOMETHING?"
At which point Duagen burst out waving some bow-like weapon around. Dionysia was taken by surprise, but after a few seconds she reacted.

This was the sort of situation they'd been training her for for years. Also the idea of Gappiqu getting short by this crazy native didn't thrill her.

SHe ran at Gappiqu and crashe dinto him, knocking him over. Hoping he'd have the sense to run to a better vantage point, she then leapt at the mud, put on her best cute-excited face and bounced up and down in front of him, blocking him from aiming his weapon at Gappiqu. "Hey! Are you here to rescue us? What's that thing? Are you gonna blow up Rupture Farms? Do you know Abe? Ooh, is he here to? Abe's cool! Do you think Abe's cool? Do you think he'll like me?"

Slaveless 06-21-2006 11:02 AM

Gappiqu felt confused. One moment Dionysia was screaming for the noise to stop in her casual talking, the other she acted all excited to see a native. He felt like that he should take care of the native once and for all, since it didn't seem like that the native was going to be friendly.

But something it him. Dionysia would never act this way if a native came to recuse the factory. It would be more Sligish like, but then something also hit him. He remembered when they were in Arnie's office, Dionysia said that her purpose was to destory the Mudokon saviors entering her factility. At that moment, it seemed like that she was more likely to kill this native, than it was for him.

Gappiqu decided to play along, by getting up, and running down the corrider, to avoid the native. Perhaps there something could be resolved. When he ran around the corner, he stopped, and listened for the converstaion. Just in case he planned to hurt Dionysia, he would kill him first.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Bonty walked up the stairs as well, and planned to get into the R+R. At last, he was able to get near the door that read R+R. But being Bonty, he couldn't read, so he said, "Um Jim, I don't where the R+R and I can't read. Can you help me?"

dripik 06-21-2006 11:09 AM

Rick looked up from the cards and noticed that Kix has entered the room. "Uh, yeah, I've been cleaning a little. Found some cards to spend the time." he said, shuffling the cards and placing them on the table. "There were some cartridges, tools... and junk, mainly."

--------------------------------------

Arnie lay back in his chair, smoking his cigar and closing his eyes. This was a lot better for him than worrying his brains out. He opened his eyes and looked out of the window, watching the various planets and stars on the sky, accompanied by dark-grey smoke coming from the factory. It was sort of soothing for him, seeing a bit of nature... Of course, the cause of this would go way back, to the times when Glukkons were living in the wilderness... His eyelids were getting heavier...

Suddenly, an ear-splitting noise came from the lower parts of the building. Arnie's eyes popped open but he didn't do more than that. "I can understand them... working all day... they're looking for some fun... or something..." His thoughts were trailing away, he dropped the cigar on the table beside him and fell asleep in the chair.

--------------------------------------

"Well, we might as well turn in." said Otto, looking back at #7 Slig. "That's what I'm going to do, anyway."

"Sure, Otto. I'm not tired yet, I'll look around as a night patrol." said #7 Slig, and they walked out from the Grinding Station. They arrived to the main hall, turned left and continued their walk. Otto took leave of #7 Slig at the lifts and ascended to the Executive Office. He went inside, left the entry hall and made his way into the R+R. He found Arnie sleeping in the chair. "Poor fellow... Had a rough day." he thought while going to his bed, jumping in and preparing to sleep.

--------------------------------------

#7 Slig went towards the Cafeteria when a patch of light caught his attention. It was coming from a room he never saw before. He went inside cautiously and found Rick and Kix in there. "Wow. Nice place. This'll be your workshop?" he asked.

"Yeah, I suppose. Needs some planning and cleaning, but it will be OK." said Rick. "Oh, thought these might interest you..." he pointed at the cartridges.

"Ah, good find. I was running low on them." said #7 Slig, nodding. He grabbed a few of the cartrides, loading them into his rifle.

kjjcarpenter 06-22-2006 12:21 AM

guys, I felt like I left to much destruction, So I'll change if for yas, and then Im gone, bye guys

Seargentbig 06-22-2006 12:59 AM

Duagen was coming to his remaining senses, only missing his hearing. He tried to keep his spoocebow (which looks like a small crossbow straped to the wrist, not an actual bow) aimed at Gappiqu, which he did quite well until Dionysia went crashing into him.
Well, he thought, this is going well. I've been discovered. Gonna be hard to stay undercover now.
Trying to keep the fallen slig in his sights, he was about to tell him to drop his gun, when Dion ran up to him and started talking at him, blocking his view and letting the slig get away. He lowered his spoocebow, but remained watchful and ready to raise it as soon as someone came through the doorway.
Duagen looked at the strange dark mudokon. Clearly, she was exited to see a native and happy to be freed soon, but she was not helping in the slightest. To try to calm her, he said "Shhh!" and made "Calm down!" motions with his hands.

Jordan 06-22-2006 07:39 AM

OOC: I posted in the profile thread and made a new character.

IC: JB was very nervous, he needed a job to get some moolah, he needed it for his operation, his blue eyes were not normal for a Slig.
JB stepped out of the Feeco train and sniffed up, he could smell meat, obviously. He went through the sliding doors of Rupture farms and looked around. "What a neat place!" he said with awe. He walked down a long corridor and finally reached his destination. He knocked on the door of Arnie's office. "Hello? I've come for a job!" JB said nervously.

Bullet Magnet 06-24-2006 01:21 PM

Wash panicked as the blood continued to gush from Linc's wound. He fumbled around the gash in friend's his side as he tried to stop the flow of blood. Linc looked pale now, and red lake was now dripping over the side of the balcony. Wash tore at his own loincloth in an attempt to forge some makeshift bandages. His hands were slippery with the blood, and the excitement of the past few moments had weakened him so. The mudokon's own tears were mixing with Linc's blood now, but he heard no sound, just the continuing ringing in his ears.
Now, with the loincloth wrapped tightly around the injured mud's side, Wash began to drag him along the ground.
"Medical emergency!" He shouted. "Medical emergen-" but it was no use. If there was anyone else around here, it was likely that they were all suffering from hearing problems as well. When he'd been here before, he'd heard heated remarks by too individuals outside (one, apparently, named "Dionysia") that were much louder than they should have sounded. Wash supposed that the unique shape of this room was able to resonate sounds from outside it to much louder levels than before. If this was true, then perhaps he and Linc were the only one's to have suffered like this, so perhaps he could find help! He heaved Linc's limp form further along the passage, leaving a smeared blood trail behind them.
Wash noticed a directory on the wall. On it, one label stood out: Dek's Laboratory, Surgery.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Linc momentarily slipped back into consciousness. He was vaguely aware of being moved, but one phrase looped through his mind before he was gone again.
"For so long the grinders were not working. Why did they have to start working now?"

If he'd been able to, he would have seen the saw continue to cut through the platform and into it's own control module. If it worked before, it certainly doesn't now…

ooc: Does anyone still use ol' Dek? Who else works in the E.R. here?

Slaveless 06-24-2006 03:29 PM

OOC: Yes, Munch's Master still uses Dek and Arthur. The other person who works in the Labortory is Slap, one of my guys. He is the doctor assissant of Rupture Farms.

IC: Gappiqu couldn't hear anything still, since his ears were still blocked by the Sound Wavers. And perhaps someone else, besides himself, should kill this native with Dionysia. One who owns a real gun.

After some time, Gappiqu looked to his left and saw that there was a announcer next to him. It read, "Tfony Announcer 1278, XL". Suddenly, it him. He could contact the main source of the announcer, Sligs could come, in case Dionysia doesn't succeed. So he grabbed his walkie talkie, typed in the where the source of the announcer was. Finally, he spoke into it, "This is Slig Unit V3034 v.24, there is a native on the top staircase, near the R+R. I repeat, there is native on the top staircase, near the R+R. Out and over."

Hopefully, someone heard him. Dionysia and that native shouldn't be one of them since, they should have the same hearing as him.

Munch's Master 06-25-2006 02:16 AM

OC:Yea, Dek's still going. But now might not be the best time to ask him for medical help, with the gas leak. And where the hell has Goresplatter gone?
IC:
Dek nodded and helped Slap check up on the patients, holding a cloth over his mouth to block the gas. The Delivery Boy seemed to be relatively OK. He was trying to see who else there was, when he remembered that Vykker X was still locked up. Dek hurried through to the other room, where the Vykker was still unconscious. He rushed back to Slap. "Vykekr X is out of it completely. I think we'd better get him out of there before he suffers permanent damage, he may be dangerous, but we don't want a death on our hands."
Arthur was still a bit bewildered. "So you want me to climb into the vent. I get that, but then what do I do? An' how do I get out again without you there to open the vent hatch for me?"

Jordan 06-25-2006 02:22 AM

OOC: Does dripik still post here?
IC: JB wondered why there was no answer, perhaps the boss was asleep?
He sighed and sat down on a box of Scrab cakes.
