dungeon keeper isn't "non-mainstream" (what a horrible fucking term), but it is awesome. love that series. wish dungeon keeper 3 was finished/released.

I have no idea how it would work. |

also Eye Of The Beholder, Crystal Dragon, Orc Attack and Beverly Hills Cop (i think) on the Amiga 1200. Orc Attack especially. EDIT: shit, sorry if these have already been answered, i didn't see the second page. |
Heroes of Might and Magic II was pretty good. I don't know how to tell if something's mainstream or not, I don't do a lot of gaming and my knowledge of a game is most likely no more than "Picked it up at a Garage Sale, it's good shit," but Neverwinter Knights (forget that it's Forgotten Realms) is an interesting fantasy RPG. The main reason I like it is the easy-to-use campaign editor.

That might have been what I read :p. Except my feeble brain must have mushed things up.
I'm not sure if this is Mainstream but: The Guild 2, buggy as a full scale Cockroach infestation, but still a good game. Seems to have a cheese toast fixation too. |

Anyway back on topic, who here has played Serious Sam: The first encounter ? |
DK1 is actually free now, apparently. The company decided they couldn't make any more money out of it, so they released it into the amazing electrical webulator.

I want OWI to release the A.L.I.V.E. engine as open-source.
|
An SDK included in the Oddbox with the open-source engine would be interesting.... Don't think it's gonna happen though
|
Don't care about an SDK, just want the engine. It's not your own game if you use one of them.
|
The A.L.I.V.E engine is far too convoluted for an engine to be worth anything. The limits would be limitless.
|
Damnation. I guess we'll need an SDK after all.
|
A level editor would be fun, for stress relief. I'd make a closed box with abe and a bunch of Glukkons. Slapping them into walls should provide a few hours' worth of enternetainment
|
Wasn't SW made with the Unreal engine or something?
An SDK for that would be godly. |
