Wow, it's been a long time since your last chapter! I hope you enjoyed your trip-it sounded like fun! :D Anyway, about the story, you came back with a bang on that one-it was phenominal! :D I love the whole time-freezing thing that happened. ;) Great job, BBS.

Back to the battlefield
Thanx, OC.
Me and Tyronus landed splat in front of Syrom. Syrom stared at me. I stared at him. It was Syrom who made the first move. He pulled out a tiny little dagger. I saw my other self. "Tyronus! Stop Me from meeting me! Now!" I yelled. Syrom was getting really confused now. I took my opertunity, and grabbed the dagger. I had two weapons now, A dagger, and a rifle. Syrom smiled, but I didn't back. He pulled out a shotgun. A very large shotgun. He then loaded his gun. He aimed, and was about to fire when a huge fist went flying into the barrel of the gun, Knocking it in Syrom's eyes. He yelped, and he dropped it. He was about to strangle me, when I saw his Firelighter. Brilliant! I thought. Target sighted. I dived for his belt. I grabbed hold of it, and Syrom ran as fast as he could. I was holding on to the belt, and grabbed the firelighter, and let go. Syrom went flying into the air, and landed next to Ziggy. Perfect. Now to get Tyronus back without Me seeing me. I ran, and chucked a Rock at him. Tyronus yelped, and said to my other self: "I'll finish you off later!" Said The general. He ran towards me. I was hiding behind a rock, so I didn't see myself. Tyronus ran and hopped over the rock. "Open the portal. I've got Syrom's firelighter." I said. He clicked his fingers, and we dissapeared. We re-appeared back in the ruins of the Arena. "Were's Ziggy?" I asked the Shrykull. There was a flash of light, and Ziggy apeared out of nowhere, frozen, like everyone else. "Who was killed next?" Asked Tyronus. "Grunt." I said, anger filling me. Tyronus smiled, and said "Actually, you would have to save Chunky from turning into his true self." "Chunky it is then!" I said. |
Great action-packed chapter as usual, BBS. ;) I liked it! :D Keep it going! :)

Chunky Fullertised
We appeared in the Monosaic lines...again.
The war hadn't started yet, and I walked into a hut. There was Chunky being zapped to life by Tyronus. Tyronus stopped, and stared. The other did the same. They had saw each other! Time froze, and both of them dissapeared. I was the only one in the entire world who had not been frozen. I looked around. I walked towards Chunky. I Pushed him out of the frozen electricity. He smashed into a million peices. Oops. I shouldn't of done that. In that case, My robotic Guru hand dissapeared, and was replaced by my old one. The mission had been ruined. I walked into the next hut. There was Syrom- I smiled. If I pushed him, he would smash, and my crusade would be over. I pushed him. He fell over, and didn't shatter. Syrom jumped back up, and kicked me through the wall. I went flying throught a series of huts. I'm stuck in a different time, and How is Syrom moving? |
Ooo, nice twist! I've been reading this as a non-member, and now that I can finally post, I must say it's very good, all 3 of you fics so far are.
|
Cool chapter, BBS. ;) The only thing I can point out is that you could've joined the sentences a bit better. (Ex- Instead of "Time froze, and both of them dissapeared.
I was the only one in the entire world who had not been frozen.", "Time froze, and both of them dissapeared, but I was the only one in the entire world who had not been frozen." ;) ) Other than that, the content in this story is excellent. ;) Keep it going! :) |
Weak spot
Thanx, both of you.
I got up, and walked throught the Huts. This is madness! I pulled out a weapon that never dissapointed me. The Extrordinary Vomit gun 9000! Syrom jumped throught the huts. I ran out of it, and ran towards the edge of the Monosaic lines. Teasing Syrom was not a good idea. I figured that out when he pulled out a sword, and sliced the Gun. Hot Acidic Puke poured out, rotting away the ground. I dropped the gun. I looked at a mudokon with a sword in his hand. I pushed him over, and grabbed the sword. I lunged for Syrom. I defended it off, and sliced his blade towards me. I dodged the sharp steel and circled Syrom. Syrom was now at the edge. I dived with the blade and Syrom defended it off. I pulled out a pistol. "You can try." Syrom said. "And succeed." I added. I pulled the trigger, and a bullet went into Syrom's arm. Syrom yelped, and pulled out his shotgun. I chopped the weak shotgun in half, and stabbed Syrom in the chest. Syrom dropped his sword, and fell to his knees, as a stream of blood trickled down his mouth. He managed one sentence. "Kill Tyronus or he will kill you." Syrom coughed, and fell backwards, and fell off the side. Syrom was dead. I walked away, with my Blood-drenched sword. I thought back to when Tyronus first unleashed his power. "How? Syrom turns on me for loosing one of the battles and Slug killing Travis." He was lying. I was the one who killed him. He wanted Syrom out fo the way so he could rule and kill me. That was not going to happen. At this thought, he must be related to Kakulana, constantly switching sides. But if I got Tyronus back, I couldn't kill him straight away, otherwise I couldn't get out of the frozen world. I walked back to where I had last seen Tyronus. Bingo! I had to finish my mission- put Chunky Fueller back together. I had no idea how to do it though. I sat next to the Shattered pieces and thought... |
Good chapter! But how can he get Tyronus back if Tyonus saw himself and disappeared? Maybe I misinterpreted the last bit, but i don't get that.
|
Yeah, I was wondering that myself...Anyway, that's a good chapter, BBS. ;) And the Vomit Gun...who can resist that?! :D  Well, keep your great story going! :)
|
Well to bring Tyronus back, BBS will have to fight the biggest Industrial being ever.
Sekto. I'll post the next soon... |
Ooh, sounds like a good upcoming chapter! And I was wondering, will Marty and Timothy (Monty and Richey's doubles) ever return, or are they dead for good?

The rising of the
Thanx, OC.
|
No problem, BBS. ;) I can't wait to see what happens-you're doing a good job with this story. :)
|
Why's the title of your post called: "the rising of the". Anyway, I look forward to the next bit BBS. :D
|
The rising of Evil
Oops. I was writing it and I pressed a key. Ahh well, here's the chapter.
An Oktigi was sucking life off a wolvark, using the body. The Oktigi walked into New Yolk City. The stranger walked into the Jail. "I would like to visit Flint Explosivez McGee." The stranger said. The Clakker lifted his head from his work. "Listen hear, Pisshead. I'm working, so shut up, you turd!" The Clakker stated. "Maybe you said that the wrong way." The Wolvark/Oktigi said. He took a step forward. The Clakker looked up. "For the last time, Turd, I'm working here!" And the Clakker stopped, as a fist went round his neck. The Clakker gasped, and he let go from all life. He was dead. "Never mess with Sekto." The Wolvark said. Sekto walked off, and opened a jail cell, and Flint woke up. "Sekto? What you in here for?" Flint asked. The Oktigi de-tatched itself from the wolvark, and slithered towards its target. The Oktigi sucked onto the head of the Outlaw. Sekto got up. "Now to go to an old enemy at the monosaic lines." Sekto said, and walked out of the cell. He picked up his Shotgun. He walked out. He started his journey towards the Monosaic lines, not Knowing his enemy was dead. |
Ooh, intrguing! But I din't think Sekto was an Octigi. Mind you I don't have Stranger's Wrath so... Anyway good chapter, I can't wait for it to carry on. And who is this old enemy? (Don't tell me who it is just yet, I love suspense)
|
Oops, spoiler! :D Anyway, that was a nice chapter, BBS-I enjoyed it, but could you be a bit more descriptive? Everything is just flowing a bit too fast, that's all. ;) Other than that, the story's great-keep up the good work! :D
|
Yeah, I'm feeling a bit sick today, so I just wanted to get back in bed.
|
Oh, sorry about that-I hope you feel better. :) Well, we'll still be here-it's not like we're going anywhere! Anyway, get some rest. ;)

The Terrible Truth
I slumped on the floor in the lonely hut.
I was pondering how in Odd’s name I was going to Fix Chunky. A rather un-usual file crammed with paprer in it distracted me. I walked over to it. I opened it up. I pulled out the sheets. It said: Spoocemining & Co, Kronk Mcblaster gang and Humanoid Foundries have all joined the Monosaic Battle Council. Spoocemining- Selling Chrystals for Mullah for The Monosaic Battle council. Kronk Mcblaster Gang- Forcing Companies and Gangs to join The Monosaic Battle army. Weapon Federation- producing weapons for the MBC. Humanoid Foundries- Producing Robo-lice and more Advanced battle droids. $100,000 for Training Land. $200,000 for 100,000 droids. $500 for 200 Spoocebows. Signed, Syrom, Tyronus and Scrutter. Well, the note was alarming enough, but what made it worse was the name Scrutter. Scrutter filled anger into my heart. I thought the gang had taken care of the Guru, but somehow, he had come back. Well, I new Chunky owned Spooce Mining & co, And Kronk Mcblaster I had encounted him before I new the Guru. But I never would of Guessed That the Humanoid Foundries were with Syrom. The Humanoid Foundries were a big hit with the Army. The created Robotic Humans educated in Combat. They were really Clever, and great Strategists. But one day, something went wrong with their Brains, and, they got smart enough to wonder why they had to Battle for Armies. Then they turned on their Slig Generals, and they then scattered away, leaving The Humanoid Foundries scattered and they were never seen again. Well that explained a lot. No wonder they didn’t re-appear. They were under command of The Guru. I folded the Papers into my belt-pouch. I then went back on how to fix Chunky. |
Hmm, interesting. So is the Guru returning? I hope so, he was a great bad guy. Just 2 questions:
1) Who is Kronk McBlaster? 2) How are there humans/humanoids on Oddworld? |
Well, I started a story called Smog's oddventure, which he was the main badguy. I then quit the htread on OWF, and am still writing it now.
Humanoids are creatures with Two arms and two legs. So they don't acttually have to be human. They are Robotic Mudokon like droids. |
Ah right, ta for clearing that up. Could you give a link to Smog's Oddventure, and will it ever be finished, and was Biggy Bro Slig in it, and where there any other characters from this series in it? A lot of questions I know, but i had a lot to ask. :D
|
Cool chapter, BBS. ;) Humanoids, huh? Sound neat! And I was wondering whatever happened to Smog's Oddventure, but now I know! :D
|
The Fight for Freedom
I heard a loud thump.
And another. I turned around, and went out of the hut. There was an Outlaw, with an Oktigi sucking on it. “Show me where Syrom is.” The Oktigi asked. I looked over the edge. “Down there.” I said, pointing to the rock he was lying on. Sekto peared over. “He is dead?” Sekto asked. “I killed him.” I answered. “Exellent. Now I can use this land to build on! Then I shall use the Industrialists to work for me!” Sekto bellowed. “Never!” I screamed. Sekto pulled out a sword. I pulled out mine, knowing if I was against him, I would die. Sekto tried to stab me, but I rolled out the way. I jumped up, hit Sekto on the head, and was about to stab him when a huge brown foot went flying into me. I was kicked into a hut. I pulled out a pistol. I fired, and re-loaded. The bullet hit Sekto, but it bounced off, sending it straight back to me. I took a step back, into two Gloktigi. They glared at me. They kept on spitting Webbing at me. The webbing hit me. I struggled to get out. I wiggled a little, but it didn’t brake free. Just as I was about to be stabbed by a huge claw, I broke free. I rolled away, and chopped the Gloktigi’s claws off. It screeched, and fell to the floor. The smell of Gloktigi blood wasn’t pleasant. I rolled towards the other Gloktigi. I stabbed it in the Stomach. Hot acid poured out, which moulded into webbing. I ran towards Sekto. “You may have killed them, but not me.” Sekto said. I pulled out a missile launcher. I launched. The missile went into Sekto, pushing him back. He hit the floor. I ran up to him. “Now sekto, tell me how to get Tyronus back.” I growled. “Gloktigi webbing.” He panted, looking at the acidic webbing. I walked towards it. I pulled out the vomit gun 1000. I loaded it up into the gun. I walked back to Sekto. “Now what?” I asked. “Glue your friend back together.” He gasped. I walked into the hut, and glued the pieces together. Suddenly, Chunky dissapeared, and Tyronus appeared. “Traitor.” I mumbled under my breath. “So what have you done while I’ve been in Solid Space?” Tyronus chuckled. I didn’t answer. “Now to save Monty.” I said. “Only one problem.” “What?” I asked. “I killed him.” He said. “And what does that mean?” I asked. “I can’t come with you. And besides, it’s Grunt next.” Tyronus said. “I killed Syrom and he killed Grunt so Grunt is alive.” I answered. “You idiot! If I ever turned away from you, I wouldn’t have a boss!” The Stroppy General barked. “What about Scrutter?” I said, smiling. Tyronus stopped still. He clicked his fingers We dissapeared. |
Ooh, interesting! So will they all be saved? And I still ask: What happened to Marty and Timothy, Richey and Monty's near-doubles. Will they survive?
|
I cant really remeber how they died, but I might bring them back in the last story.
|
Nice chapter...things are coming together very well in this story! ;)
|
Who's laughing now?
We re-appeared in the Rocky, crumbling surface of the Arena.
Grunt however, didn’t appear. “Where is he?” I asked the Shrykull. “You killed Syrom. But if he wasn’t from that time, he traveled aswell. So Grunt is still dead.” Tyronus replied. “I read some secret files while you were gone. The Guru’s back? How?” I asked him. He looked nervous. “Tell me!” I screamed, and pushed him against a rock. “Spirit of the Dead. Remember how there were three weirdos? He is one of them now.” Tyronus said. “Why do you want to kill me?” I asked the Grinning shrykull. He pushed me back onto the floor, and had his arm on my neck. “Revenge” Tyronus grinned. I pushed him back. “Why revenge?” I asked, pulling out my blood-drenched sword. “You killed Kakulana. You killed Syrom aswell. You murderd an entire species! The Grushes only wanted land!” Tyronus said, making them sound harmless. Killing of an entire species was a bit extreme, I said in my head. Tyronus pulled out a sword. “My sword has been dipped in a lot of people. And you are going to be the next!” I said. Tyronus dived, kicked me over and he slipped up backwards. I got up. “I’m sure we would all like an audience when you die.” Tyronus said, getting. He clicked his fingers. The battle started. Strangly, there were far more Sligs this time. I dived; he spun round, and kicked me. I went flying. I jumped up, and sliced all of the general’s feet off. He screamed, as the bone sent a chill down his spine. He tried to stand up, but the bone snapped. There was a cry of pain from Tyronus, and he hit the floor. The battle stopped and turned to see the General. I put my sword next to his heart. “Who’s dying now?” I said, and stabbed him just below the heart. The Shrykull’s scream was mixed with the splatter of blood. The screaming stopped, as I dug my sword into his neck. I pulled it out. The battle stopped. The Mudokons and Grubbs started retreating. Ziggy and Slug ran up to me. Look at the hills. Millions and Millions of Robolice, tons of Thousands of Battle Droids marched down the hill. “We won this battle, but the next we will lose.” Slug said, running back to the only Jeep in the Arena. We all drove off, with tanks behind us. “Where are we going?” I asked Slug. “Back to the Slig Barracks. We’re going to need some reinforcements.” |
ooh, good chapter! But just 2 things:
1) Is Grunt permanently dead, as well as Chunky, Monty and Richey? 2) I'd have liked there to be more information about how the Guru became a spirit. But still a good chapter, the Guru's a classic baddie so good work! |
Grunt, Monty & Richy can be saved, but Chunky is gone forever.
I am not telling how they are going to come back, because I have not thought any story up yet. |
LOL! Ah well, we all get brain blocks when writint a fic. Keep it up though, we demand more! :D
|
A new member
We reached the Factory named Splinterz.
Well, what was left. They had just finished re-building it, by the looks of it. They must have been attacked when they weren’t ready. Scaffolding had been knocked down, and burnt. A slig lay underneath the Scaffolding, blood leaking through his head. We all hopped out, and ran towards him. His visor was glowing dark, but he was alive. He had blood splattered all over him, from a crushed slig next to him. We dragged him out and put him against the Jeep. Ziggy poured some water over him. He shook, spraying blood on us. “What happened?” Slug asked the injured Slig. He breathed hard. Then he looked at Slug. “We were attacked. I was just drilling and Rolling robots came from everywhere. They shot us of the Scaffolding. Then Robot Humanoid commanders kicked over the Scaffolding. I fell off, and they burnt it.” The Slig moaned. “What’s your name?” I asked him. “Jick. I worked in the F Sector in Boneworkz. I was then transferred to here.” The slig moaned. “Okay, Jick. Slug will look after you while me and Ziggy explore.” I told him. We wondered off. We walked towards the entrance of Splinterz. Scaffolding had blocked of the door. Ziggy crawled under, and stood infront of the door. “Come on!” Ziggy answered. The words echoed across the Warzone. Someone would have answered if they heard that, but nobody did. So there must have been no survivers, exept for Jick. Seems that I couldn’t get the rest of the Gang back, I could bring Jick in. I crawled under. The scaffolding started to fall. The grey clowds made the right place to settle. It matched the theme of the massacare. I rolled away, and knocked down the door into Splinterz. I got up. I was standing in Blood. I reached for the lights. They turned on. A shiver went down my spine. Ziggy shuddered. The building was drenched in blood. Sligs lay on the Catwalks, blood dripping from them. I looked around. Not one Slig had a head. Ziggy and I looked up. I wished I had never of Volountered to kill the Guru now. Because I wouldn’t have seen this. The heads were tied to the ceiling by thread, and blood was dripping from them. Two Humanoids walked out of Splinterz office doors. They spotted us. Ziggy and I realised we had left all our weapons back at the jeep. If we didn’t find a weapon quick, we would end like the rest of the sligs. I grabbed a slig’s body, and chucked it at one of them. Blood splattered all over its white shiny armour. It loaded its gun. Bullets went bouncing everywhere. I hid behind a pile of Sligs, along with Ziggy. I saw a slig lying with a rifle on the Catwalk. “Ziggy! You make sure they don’t get us. I’m going to get us some guns.” I said. I picked up a stone. I hurled it to the Catwalk. I bounced off, and catapulted back to me. The object brained me. I picked it up again, and chucked it at the Catwalk. I chucked it to High, as it hit a head. A slobbery Pink squishy thing fell out. I was sitting with a brain on my lap. I kicked it off, and it went straight into a Humanoid. Its curcuits went up in flames, and the other Humanoid’s eyes went red. I tried again, and knocked the slig off. I ran for the gun. Bullets pelted me. I crawled for my life in pain, as I had been shot to many times. I gave the gun to Ziggy. I was hit by a rock, and I was nearly killed. My vision dimmed. |
Yay! New chapter *does the new chapter dance*. Good work, nice stuff about this battle. Buv I didn't get this business of rocks on the catwak making brains fall down, could you explain what he was doing?
|
A deadly foe
He saw a dead slig on the catwalk with a gun. He was throwing rocks to see if he could get it to kill the robots.
I woke up, amazed that I was alive. I was lying in a thick, dark pool of blood. Ziggy lay next to me. “Shhhhhh…there are more.” Ziggy whispered. I peeked over the piles of Sligs. “They seem to be Guarding Splinterz Office.” I whispered back. “At the count of three, I want you to throw a pebble over to the catwalk. Then Slug and Jick will throw boddies down on them. Then we run for the office.” Ziggy said. He passed me a pebble. I threw it, and two Humanoid Guards came rushing towards it. Jick and Slug jumped up, piling rotting sligs on them. They ran about the place, trying to get the bodies off, and one slipped, making its head flying towards me. I was hit in the stomach, and I picked it up. Its eyes were red. It started to bite me. I yelped, and threw it into the other. A beautiful display of fireworks filled the bloody room. Slug and Jick climbed down off the Catwalk, and they followed us into the office. Two Robolice were there, with their guns fixed into their sides locked on us. “Sir, we have some survivors.” One of the Robo-lice said. That’s a new feature. “Very good, Coporal.” A voice said, echoing around the room. Splinterz chair swirled around. A tall robotic man with a black cloak on stared at me. “Biggy Bro Slig? Is that you?” The robot asked. I didn’t answer. “Don’t you remember me?” The robot asked. I shook my head. “Rukkise, perhaps would remind you?” The robotic man smiled. “You’re a slig though!” I said. “Who ever told you that utter Crap? I’m a wolvark. Or I was. I would be alive if you saved me.” Rukkise screamed, banging his fist on the table. “And Rukkise isn’t my real name either. It’s Pox.” Rukkise said. Ziggy pulled out the machine gun. I pulled it down. “If you are the Commander of the Robots, then why didn’t they kill you?” I asked. “You stupid soul. I told them to turn on the sligs. I told them to kill them. I wanted power! But then your stupid boss turned me in. That’s why I got a job as commander and changed my name to Rukkise. It was the perfect plan. And it worked! But now, I have been offered a share of Mudos once this battle is over!” Pox bellowed. Ziggy pulled up the Machine gun again. But this time I didn’t pull it down… |
Oh, good chapter! Sorry for not replying though. Anyway good work. Jick's recovered already? Whoever healed him did a good job! Anyway, nice work. Good twist with Rukkise returning as a wolvark, will Ziggy succeed in killing him? Can't wait!
|
Traitor!
Ziggy's finger pressed hard down on the trigger.
Bullets went everywhere, mixing with sparks. The two robolice whizzed around, firingn the lasers everywhere. I pulled out my Vomit gun, which was still full with webbing. I smiled. I squirted the Robo-louse's guns, making it glue. Its blasters kept on firing, but backing up the barrel. It exploded, alerting more and another Robo-louse came in. Jick, who was hiding behind a safe, was calculating something in his head. “According to Slug, you killed the Guru by launching a rocket into his chest.” Jick said. He pulled out a small pocket book. “The guru was designed by Humanoid technicians. Making Extreme Bulletproof Humanoid robots weakest point their main air valve. If you hit him in the chest, his curcuits will back up an he’ll be useless!” Jick said, lifting up the safe he was hiding behind. “Someones been learning their Science.” Ziggy said under his breath. “Throw it into him!” Jick said, throwing the safe to Ziggy. “I’m taking no Orders from no Nerd!” Ziggy retorted. “Do it!” I screamed. Ziggy picked it up, and throwing it into Rukkise. He spluttered backward and landing flat on the floor. Deep mechanical gasps came from Pox. “Go ahead! Kill me now!” Pox gasped. “And you’ll never find out where your boss is!” “He’s alive?” I asked. “Yes. He’s about the only one who did!” Pox said. “Where?” Slug asked. Pox gasped. “Jick may find this place familiar. Boneworkz” |
Cool, good chapter. Nice stuff about Jick working out how to kill him. But who is the traitor? And when you say the boss, do you mean Splinterz? Also 1 little error I found:
:
He survived?” I asked. “Yes. He’s about the only one who did!” Pox said. As it is more grammatically correct. But still, a good chapter! |
Nice chapter, BBS. I also agree with Munch's Master-it'd sound more right if it was "survived" instead of "alive". What would also work besides that is this:
"He's alive?" "Yes. He's about the only one who is." Anyway, it was still an entertaining chapter....ah, there's nothing like the vomit gun... |
