Luke, the words in the "bad words" list ARE all censored with asterisks. ****. ****. *******. See? Peter made another post later on, saying that Wanker was allowed. Back down quickly before Peter himself gets here and proves you wrong (now wouldn't THAT be humiliating?)...

But, about the swearing censors, tell me the words you wish to be censored, and not.

Alright. Words like sh*t and f*ck actually should be censored. This goes against everything I stand for, but now that OWI seems to be shifting it's focus towards a younger audience, it would be common courtesy to censor out some of the more harsh words that smaller kids may not wish to hear. To put it another way, the list of censored words should be almost the same as it was before all of the unpleasentness. Words that are more tame, like wanker, *****, cunt, and bastard, should be allowed. Remember, the Oddworld games do (or did) have a small amount of swearing.

EDIT: Whoops! I forgot the word "p*ssy" was censored... well, now you know what the "mystery word" is! :rolleyes:

I think it's quite simple - do not censor swearing, just give a Warning whenever someone swears at somebody... After all, there are plenty of times when you can deeply and deliberately offend another member without swearing, and plenty of occasions when you can swear without offending anyone...

I agree with Danny. Don't censor words but if someone is constantly and needlessly swearing give them warnings. If they continue, ban them.
