I hope your not just spreading a rumor. But, if your right I hope they put it somewhere on the Internet pretty soon. And, if possible, somewhere where I can find and see it. (Not like the new trailer I can't see with my crappy PC)

i think that the slig wouldn't be extra-strong, as he'd have only just had the accident. he would have to 'rediscover' his other abilities in the course of the game, possibly with the help of Abe and Munch.

hey, here's an idea. maybe he'd have to travel to the lands of the Native Sligs, like Abe went to the Monsaic Lines. THESE sligs would be stronger and more agile, and they'd teach him how to get around without his pants.

I like the idea, but don't you think that's good material for a bonus game instead of for one of the 5 'quintology games'? Each of the five will introduce a new creature, isn't that what they said? Or is it just a new hero (so it can be a known species)?

How would those native sligs look like? Maybe they eat special plants (who was it again who wanted squeek to be plant?) that work like some kind of drug, so they change in big , strong and powerful (and maybe even smart) sligs!

no, but years of evolution would have led to them being naturally stronger, as they haven't had the luxury of pants.

and sligs ARE smart, thank you very much...

Oddipus 04-21-2001 01:03 PM

And what would that evolution be? A large tail so they move a little like a snake? Or large arms? Or large face-tentacles?

Pacen 04-21-2001 01:12 PM

Who knows? I doubt their arms would grow but their bodies would become stronger because they do not rely on their pants but rather learning to do things themselves.
It's the opposite to Glukkons, they don't use their REAL legs so they whither and become weak.

The fact that an unmasked Slig is public knowledge, I think. I'm pretty sure it is, if only I could remember where I saw it...

Danny 04-21-2001 06:16 PM

i think they might have longer tails, but not to move like a snake, but more to use as prehensile tails to hang from branches. when the captured sligs began using pants, their tails became more vestigial, as they didn't have to use them any more.

Maybe natural sligs could crawl on their stomics like slugs... after all thats probly the Eath creature they got there name from... ;)
