Not to mention that if your memories and experiences from your previous life carried over to the next, you'd be getting short-changed due to the proportional time paradox that comes with aging. Your next lifetime would be only about half the length of your former one, and so on and so forth.

Unless of course that gets reset too. We assume that it comes from having a long memory. No one has ever done the experiment where they suddenly become young again.
